What do you think about Murtagh's Dragon, Thorn?

I think it was a very chicken thing for Murtagh to wait like that until the battle was near ending

lol, I like u. But i think i was insulted. lol. Maybe saphira would, but u do have 2 admit that Thorn is pretty strong, or at least murtagh is. And I'm not just all about thorn and Murtagh, I LOVE Saphira and my second favorite character is Nasuada... I hate Arya tho....4 some reason she just bugs me,....idk why... and Eragon seems to...girly to me lol
But yeah, I like thorn....I wonder what Shuikan will be like....

if they where the same age Thorn would possibly defeat saphira but of course we can't be entirly sure

from what the books say, it seems he is pretty messed up becuz galby twisted his mind.

They have to be at least a year apart if not more. Unless Thorn hatched before he met up wiht eragon. but then again Thorn wuz atleast five or six months at the time of the battle, bcuz he breathed fire.

yeah it is really hard to tell his exact age but what can you do?

Thorn is SOOOO CUTE! I love all dragons!!!!
And I also want saphira to have eggs. (just as long as Thorn is not with Galbatorix at the time!)
But I think she will, otherwise, the whole story is wrecked because when Glaedr, Thorn and Saphira die, there would be no more dragons left!

One thing I learn from this, (maybe) dragon are not choose a rider based on a person's personality whether he/she's good or bad. Murtagh are evil but thorn still hatched for him. Why didn't Galbatorix let Murtagh touched the egg years ago, when Murtagh was still on the castle? Therefore Thorn could born earlier and be more powerful by the time.

I don't know why a dragon chose a bad person. This could either proves Murtagh are not trully evil, or there's another explanation.

oh yeah that's pretty wierd, maybe Arya will have the last dragon egg then if aphira falls in love with the third egg then it will only make there love stronger.

didn't Eragon like Murtagh? I think that even if Murtagh betrayed him, (Galby forced him) Eragon won't forget that once he was his friend...
Their relationship is not so simple... they are brother, they first like each other, and if they are friends no more, it's only Galby's fault.
That why Murtagh let Eragon leave. Because of this past friendship.

Maybe Murtagh has been on Galby's side for awhile, and the dragon hatched awhile ago, and Murtagh was trying to get on Eragon's good side b4 so he could trick him later.

That is a possibility. After all, he could be helping Galby to lure Eragon into a trap.

I drew a shruikan and I fell in love with him and now I cant wait to see the third book delux edition because I fthe second books delux edition had a pic of Glaedr in it it only makes sense that the delux edition of the third book will have a picture of shruikan in it....

I do believe SAPHIRA was tired, however it was Murtagh's spell that incapacitated her; she was not able to do anything while she was bound by the spell and not her weariness. I believe, if not for this, she would have given Thorn a run for his money. Thorn being a younger and male has stockier legs and a smaller built than Saphira.

I hope that he and Saphira have babiies 2gether.

No, I have a feeling Saphira doesn't like Thorn in order for her to mate with him. Keep in mind Thorn is on the dark side at the moment.

I totally agree on this one. I kind of feel he needed someone to give him the affection he has been denied so far.

No, she is older AND she is a skilled flyer. Thorn wouldn't be able to beat her. Remember, she was tired and wounded. Thorn was fresh and fine.

ya if eragon and saphira wernt so tired from fighting and getting cut and brusies they would have beat them.. cuz even when eragon was tired he still cut murtagh's armor and almost defeated him but then he lost all his energy..

Saphira is older, and more experienced. However Murtagh was almost as skilled as eragon before he was even a rider. Which now Murtagh is a rider, and Eragon is trained by the elves. So I'd consider them about equal, so having Saphira would have the advantage.

well thorn was trained by shruikan and shruikan wasnt crippled like glaedr so maybe thorn learned better stratgies from shruikan??

Saphira had been fighting all day. Thorn had been preparing for a single fight. The circumstances were unfair. It was all with an element of surprise, too. So that really doesn't matter.

duh thorn had training. if he didnt, saphira would have beaten him badly, but i think under normal circumstances, murtagh and thorn would still beat eragon and saphira coz murtagh knows more magic.
