Your "enemy" there is a bunch of mature girls (or woman, who knows?). But yes, their staff are all girls.
Don't send cursing or swearing mails to them!! They will make you look STUPID if you do !
They're very smart, and the 'worse' is, they didn't add in any emotion in their writings so we can't blame them as a Hatred Site, more like a Critique Site. But yes, there were some link to them that include a mean parody of Eragon that really despise the Inheritance Trilogy.

Too far sharp for a healthy critique, though.. We must plan act carefully...

They have the right to create a critic website. No everyone like eragon/eldest and there's nothing we can do it is there own opinion. I for myself don't like certain books and I wouldn't like it if when I was commenting people would start atacking me, because of my likes.

I really find this website interesting and this is not the only anti eragon/eldest website out there.

I've read the article on how they think Eragon copies LOTR's elves and dwarves. The views they use are a bit weird as they forgot alot of stuff that CP as used to make his characters and races different. They're saying CP bascially copied Tolkien's elves and dwarves. I've heard them all and I'm not saying both of them are the same. But if you hate something you see things in a different way.

Well- I'm not really bothered about it. I mean, of course I don't like it and disagree with what they are saying, but people are entitled to their own opinions right? Anyway, there are so many Inheritance fansites out there, which kind of rules out the hater's sites, so yeah...

For every one "Critic" site out there, there are 5 against it. And I dont have a problem because I have alot of friends who like and dislike C.P.'s books so far, but they believe he will improve the writing in time.

You can also look at it positively: Eragon (inheritance trilogy) is getting more and more attention like this

All they are doing is wasting there time. It's not like I go out there and make a hate or anti website for everything I hate. All it means is they have way too much time on there hands and really don't have much of a life. If you don't like something leave it to those that do. Everyone likes something different. I don't find the site "interesting" I find it a waste of time. Some people need to move off of it and just go out and live life off the computer. They are just showing how immature they are to display "C R A P" that no one cares to read, but those who agree and in general is a waste of time all around. Again if you like it: GRAT! I agree that everyone has a right to their own opinion! Just like those of you who have " MySpace SUCKS!!!" for their Signature... that is YOUR opinion! I personally LOVE MySpace and that is MY opinion!! So There! See where I am going with this?? Let those people who dont like Eragon and Eldest have there thing. It doesn't mean that its going to drop off the face of the Earth! Its just means (like another person here said) that Our wonderful books are just getting more attention! Its will probably bring in more readers who LOVE them!!

As it has been said before, everyone is entitled to their personal opinion. You have no idea how many times, as a mature adult, I have been critized for loving the Inheritance Trilogy and the Potter series. I simply choose to ignore them. I am free to like whatever I wish. I do not force my taste in books, or in any other matter, to anyone so I do not allow anyone to impose their taste upon me.
It happens to be that I like to see in between the lines, and enjoy a story well told. True, Eragon and Eldest has elements similar to those of LOTR, but that does not diminish the quality of the work CP has delivered.
How come no one is critzing Anne McCaffrey or Margaret Weis? They too tell stories about magic, dragons, elves, dwarves and humans. It only leads me to believe that people can be so narrow-minded; or they envy the sucess CP has acomplished at such young age. The same is with JK Rowling, she has been critized and even had her books banned because they have witches and sorcerers in her plot. Has that diminshed quality as a story teller or writer? I think not, she as CP have been getting better with each book.
So let them critize, that will not change the way I think or feel.

It is not easy to be the bigger person and just ignore them, but it is not impossible. In real life we will and do encounter many people as those critzing CP's accomplishments, but are we going to pick a fight with each and everyone of them? Are we going to stoop to their level?

My mom has a saying that goes way back in Puerto Rican culture. It kind of loses a lot in the translation, but it still hets the message across:

"He who shouts the loudest is the one who is least in the right."

It means that with angry, loud words and rebuffals, the person wants to confuse others so that they would not give it (whatever the reason for the shouting) intelligent thought.

But Annie we must admit that some points they got there is indeed make sense (especially on the inconsistence part). At least,, it makes me re-think. Not re-think about loving the inheritance trilogy, but re-think about what the A-S.S critisize.

Oh no Fatskie, you are absolutely right. No one is totally in the right or totally in the wrong. I think it all depends on how you wish to look at it. You can read it and come to your own conclusions under a very objective perspective, and even change your opinion on whatever one you had before. It's just the way you present it. I believe that you can critique anything and everything without having the need to be ofensive. However, the written word has the disadvantage that there is no intonation or voice inflection involved, so it is difficult to determine if the writer is being sarcastic, honest, objective or downright mean and rude.

that is what i think, that is why i don't mind people critisizing my work as long as they aren't mean or something.

I have a soft spot for writers. It is amazing the way they can transport people to other places and times. It takes a lot of imagination and creativity to do so. Me I couldn't write a story to save my life.
So I prefer to read other people's work and formulate my own opinion.

Haha, i'm not even going to pay attention to that site. After looking at some of the stuff that they say is wrong with Eragon/Eldest, and actually checking the books and comparing them. They have a lot of wrong information that they are basing their claims off of. Also, their understanding of literature and language is hoplessly narrow.

You know, it makes everyone angry, but they do have some enteresting stuff, and it's actually quite funny. Dont get mad at me, it doesnt really make fun of it, it just puts a bit of...adult...humor in it. I dont advise anyone under 13 to read it. Hehe, believe it or not, I e-mailed them about a month ago. They never put it on their site lol Basically, I've told them all exactly what I posted here in the past, about opinions and all that, and that the people in their hate mail section are being idiots, and giving fans like us a bad name.

Yeah, I don't believe it's funny, I don't agree with the conent- but as Annie said, they are free to diss the series if they want. You'll find people all over who diss things like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean. It is their right, and most of the time they are just doing it to tick off the people who are fans of the book. By paying this much attention to it, we are giving the majority of them what they want.
