Most Memorable Movie Soundtracks
What is the most memorable soundtrack from the movies? Here's a place to discuss that!

Well from the ones that are listed I'd have to say Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. I mean who doesn't know the Star Wars theme?! But I also thing the V for Vendetta soundtrack and the 2004 Phantom of the Opera soundtrack are memorable.

Indian Jones is kind of classic now but so are Star wars (who doesnt know Vader's theme ). From the list you made I like Lotr OST most. There is lot of amazing sountracks (personaly I love ones from Hans Zimmer or Harry Gregson Williams...) like Last Samurai or arabic styled Kingdom of Heaven

I love the Star Wars music. So awesome and I always know it when I hear it lol But I really liked the Lost Boys soundtrack. The older music is cool, I think. And Pretty In Pink. And Big Daddy had a lot of good music lol.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to go with LOTR. You really can't get any better than that. I mean, the others are good and everything (lol I love indiana jones) but I mean, LOTR beats them into the dust.
But that's just me.

Re: Most Memorable Movie Soundtracks
Why, though? The most memorable one for me would have to be Star Wars, because those movies are set apart by their music. The music is fit in so well it is like the movie is one great story woven into a tapestry, if that makes sense. With LOTR, I agree, the music is great, but it is an accessory, it does not make the movie great by itself. Most recoginzable would of course be Indiana Jones or Star Wars.
