this sunset marks the fourth day ioksok and his brown dragon agothor ecsaped from petrovya on the norther border of sudra. ioksok told agothor to land at the first oasis he could find. the nomads hide it well but they could not hide htere oasis from a arial view. the pair landed, agothor said "i will take the first watch ioksok get some sleep" so he fell asleep to the sound of agothor's tall beating in a steady rythem. ioksok woke up he was stiff so he streached his arms and legs, he said to agothor "i need some water then we can be on our way" ioksok laid on his belly and used his hands to cup the water to his mouth, he heard a noise behind the thick cluster of trees. he was at his feet with his sword drawn ioksok sword had a blade the same color as agothor , agothor was staring in the same direction ready to atack.

Erias walked out with Erador. "Are you going to fight me." Erias asked drawing her sword. She then said in the ancient language. "I am a friend I will not harm you or your dragon in less you attack me." Then Erias and Erador got some water.

ioksok looked at the girl and shethed his sword agothor groweld once and went to the base a tree and laid down his scales riped the bark of and it feel to the ground ioksok pick up hte bark and started a fire using a tinderbox. ioksok said "what is your name and where did u get the dragon."
as he reclined by the fire.

Erias turned and said, "My name is Erias. My dragon is Erador. I got her egg when I was in the empire. I never was apart of it don't worry." Erias then smiled and continued to drink. She then stood up. "Can I join you." She asked kindley.

"why not u don't look like ur going anyware" ioksok replyed "why r u here any way....i mean in the desert that is" he picked up a stick and put the tip in the fire athen watched it burn wating for a reply

"I had escaped Galbatorix. I was hiding here. I am going to the Varden, then to the elves." Erias replied. She then took her hood off. He say that she was a dark elf. Erais put her hood back on.

befor she replyed ioksok drifted off to sleep, he ws awaken with a sharp rap to the head by agothor's tail. it was just sun set when he remebered where he was, "we should go"said agothor"she could be working for the varden". "i geuse ur right but i can't just leave her sleeping in the middle of nowhere." he replied. but agothor talked him into leaving befor she woke up, he refilled his water skin and packed up his gear, sadled agothor and flew north by west.

'You left us behind why.' Erais mentaly said. They caught up on Ioksok. Erias laughed. "Did you think you could shake me off htat easyly." Then Erador started to mentaly talk to Ioksoks dragon. 'You can never loose her. She comes and goes.' Erador rumbled. "I am going with you. You might need my help." Erias said and laughed.

Zane flew over the desert soaking in the heat he loved the open air and space. " arent you gald we decided to love here canis " canis replied with alow growl in affirmative. All of a sudden he heard other wings and felt a strong present he told Canis and they flew toward them as Zane unsheathed his sword.

"me need u ha i don't need help" ioksok said pointing himself once they both landed "i don't need any one exept for agothor here" he patted his dragons flank loveingly. they were just half a mile from bullridge, ioksok grabed a hand full of pebles form the bank of the river and put them in his pocket "im going hunting, start a fire so i can cook what ever i get when i come back. once he was a good fifty yards in to the woods he sat down and waited for some thing to move so he could shoot it with a rock using his magic. "why is she so hard to get rid of." he mutered to him self

Eraodor swiftly turned around. It surprised our attackers. Erias drew her sword and stood up on Erador. While the Dragons fighted Erias fighted there attacker. They fell to the ground the stranger landed with a thud on the ground. Erias landed perfectly. They continued fighting. Erador then pinned the opposing dragon on the ground so he couldn't move. Erais then won the battle. She held her sword up to his throat. "What do you want?" She asked. Then a drop of blood oozed out.

" Are you working for the empire or are you a freind"

"I am a friend." She said in the ancient language. "What about you." As even more blood came out. Then Erador was thrown in the air. She growled and then clawed at her opponents face. A long streak of blood ran down his right eye. She was struck in the neck. Erais muttered. The dragons were frozen in place. She released Erador. "Stop fighting." 'Fine.'

he heard a dragon scream and agothor said through there mental link "get over here u stupid human run" with out thinking he started to run he got to the clearing to see erias standing over a man in plate armour with her sword at his throat. he reconized the dragon blood red it had to be thorn and that meant the rider was murtagh, but he could not be bested by a girl ioksok laughed aloud and thought that is who i was runing from and he was beaten by a girl, then they disapeard the dragon and the rider, there was laughing a horibel laughing and a streak of red shot through the sky. he ran to erias who seemed to be just standing there ioksok said "it was an illusinon now they know where we r. we have to leave now do u have any ideas where to go"

Release my dragon zane said as he spun away from the woman and tried counter the magic even though he knew he wouldnt be able to

Erais laughed. Then Zane was released. She then grew serious and then said. "We must go. NOW."
All three got on there dragons. "Follow me." Erias said. Heading west in the sunset.

the companions were ready to go in a mater of minutes, he was about to ask her agian when agothor said "we have to fly we will find some where to camp"

In an instant Erias had landed. "We must travel on the ground." She said as she started to run. They kept getting behind. Then Erias would say hurry up. It got very frustrating for the other two.

"I sensed something but what was it" Zane asked the woman fearing the Ra'Zac and their steeds

Five Ra'zac appeared on there mounts. Then in an instant they were dead. Erais' sword was bloodied. They continued on. They kept running for days. Sometimes the other two dragons had to carry there riders. But Erias kept running.

" Erais why dont we make camp so you can rest from all thet running " zane said wanting her to rest

"why do we have to run i hate runing" yelled ioksok. after 4 days of runing they found a sucludid clearing with a small stream runing through it. they made camp and ioksok said pointing to zane "who is that" can we trust him. ioksok asked Agothar " when can we leave this girl now murtagh knows where we are" He started a fire and he drifted off to sleep.

" If you have something to say say it to me not to yuor dragon and you can trust me" Zane shot back

"what if i do u going to stop me" ioksok said with venoum in his voice he shot up of the ground and in one fluid motion he had his sword out of his sheath and said "you can stay but don't bother me" he sat back down and siad"ill take first watch" with his back resting agenst his dragon he lade his naked sword on his knees, and waited.

" it doesnt matter who takes watch as long as your awake im not sleeping" Zane replied " Good night" Zane said sarcasticaly

i wouldn't mind killing himioksok said to agothor through there mental link. "i wonder if the enpire is still looking for us" he said quitly he was pretty sure no one heard him.

"What do you think your doing. We can't stop. Jsust a few more days and HE can't find us." Erias said and got up. "Erador will gladly carry anyone who doesn't want to ru..." Erais broke off. Erador and her ran off. HEr sword drawn.

Zane caght the mumble but made no comment wishing to kill the ignorant fool

"what now" ioksok said "u r always looken for a fight" we should follow them i dont want to miss all the fun agothor said to ioksok so they followed erais

seeing them get up Zane decided to follow them " dont let me miss the fun "

there was an encampment of sodeirs with a giant mountan of red in the farthest corner. "i think we found murtagh" ioksok wispered. to agothor he said maby we can kill a few and leave befor the girl notcies that we arn't there with that he drew his sword and got ready for a fight.

Zane watched Ioksok while drawing his sword. zane then followed Ioksoks gaze and saw Murtagh " Murtagh is mine " Zane whispered to Ioksok

ioksok thought to him self murtagh was my friend maybe i should warn him about zane and tell him that there will be an attack. no don't said agothor he needs to die and with him gone it will be harder to get away good pointhe said back to the dragon. ioksok took a deep breath and yelled a battle cry and charged in to the tents of his enemys

he stabed the first solder through the neck, he riped his sword free. ioksok ducked an axe and cut off the wealders legs, agothor bit one of them in half and tore anothers belly open with his claws. the other two attacked after ioksok with in a mater of minutes the soldiers were dead and all that was left was murtagh and thorn

Then they saw Erais bloody and Murtagh. "How could you? We grew up together. What happened. Remember when you said you loved me. I was the most important thing in the world to you. You said you wouldn't hurt me. You have hurt me to badley." Erais said. The look on Murtaghs face was of shock. "I didn't want to. I had to." He said as they kept fighting. "We are matched." "No were not your evil." Erais said then tears ran down her face...

Zane ran in after Murtagh falnkaing him and swords clashed with a ring of steel. Zane overhead slashed murtagh but another ring. Zane couldnt get past the defences so he stepped back and let Ioksok in feeling some tension or an unsettled score between them

Then Murtagh Grabbed Erais. He nocked her out. He then flew off with her. "Erador make one move and she will pay for it." He said as she was taken away.

he knew murtagh sence they were only children but he never new anything about murtagh and erais. we can leave now she won't stop us she is to busy with murtagh ioksok mounted agothor and flew above the battel murtagh had the advantage now but erais had her anger, her dragon was loseing her battle thorn was bigger and stronger.

zane got onto canis and followed them from a distance

erias got kicked and murtagh mounted thorn and flew away into the seting sun. ioksok wondered if it would just be easyer to folow him and return to the empire. but he landed by erias she was konked out cold.

'Erais wake up, Erais, Erais.' 'I want to but I can't.' Erias had someone kept calling her name. Telling her to wake up. She couldn't. 'Please let the pain leave. I want to wake up.' She thought over and over.

"now we have to go get the girl, look what she got us into Agothor. we have to go fight murtagh thats who we were runen from now we have to find him" ioksok swore. we will wait until tomarow so we can have some light to search with and we need to rest

Over and over she thought. 'Someone save me. make the pain go away. I want to wake up.' She kept thinking. Then there was cold blackness. 'Ioksok don't get me stay away' She thought. Then the pain was back. She then started to think the same thing over and over again. 'Make the pain go away, someone help me, I want to wake up.'

did u hear that agothor said lifting his head [/i]i think it was erias she said stay away no he thought if it wasnt ofr me she wouldent be in this mess. the sun woke him they flew and saw thorn lying in the shade of some oak trees. just land there said ioksok and we will go get her. during the night ioksok snuk into murtaghs camp and got erais out. i think he let us take here he didn't want to take here to the empire. he made it back to camp and laid the to rest.

Erais still couldn't wake up. She kept thinking the same things over and over.

"wahts wrong with her" ioksok asled agothor i dont no i can't think of why she wont wake up

ioksok tried to get into erais's mind to see what was wrong

The pendant glowed. Erias woke up. She jumped up. Then took off running.

he sighed "we have to go get her" he ran after her

Zane saw ioksok and landed at his camp " How is she doing ? " zane asked concerned.

ioksok and zane found erias siting with her back resting on a larg oak tree iokaok asked zane "what do u thimk is wrong with her"

Erais just kept breathing hard with her eyes closed. She was holding her wrist. Blood was pouring out. Erias just sat against the tree her breathing got worse.

both Zame and Ioksok tryed to heal her but i didn't work. they were runing out of ideas. "i got it" said ioksok he took out his dagger put it in the fire and let it heat up when the metal was red hot he took it out and put it on Erias cut wrist she screamed but the bleeding stoped.

She got up and started to run again.

this time they just let her run and run the followed her, until she stoped.

Erias looked up then said something. She then took her amulet off. She then passed out from the lack of energy.

zane ran over to Erais while ioksok made a fire. Erais was burning up with fever so they put a cold washcloth on her head and waited

'Why did you do that.' Said Enerias. 'You know its the only way I can talk to you.' 'Yes but it can also kill you. Your body is getting sick fast.' 'I will return I just need to know what I am supposed to do.' 'You know you have to find me. Then I can train you.' 'Fine.' Then she woke up perfectly fine.
