Lenora cocked her head to one side, "What are you doing here, last time i saw you you were in the middle of a very amusing arguement with one of your friends. Though I suppose you very well may not be friends now." She got up from the bed, and as she straitened her gown she said quickly, "Well, we can talk later. Now I must see what sent dear friend running out the door."

The tall elf strode to the door and looked down the hallway. Lenora was suprised to see Terace sitting on the ground, looking up to her husband. A shocked look decorated her face, while a look of confusion lay upon her husbands.

"i am sorry i didnt mean to run into u darling I just had the wierdest day today."I said sobing. John helped her up and wiped away her tear." no need to be sorry for u did nothing wrong, who has made ur day wierd?" he asked terace looking around and spotting the elf. He smiled in her direction.

Lenora smiled seductively. "Hello, John. It's so nice to see you, it has been too long since our last meeting!" The elf walked over, her long legs carrying her down the hall swiftly. "Terace, dear, there's no reason to cry," she said soothingly, halting whatever Terace was about to say.

"And to answer your question, John, I believe that I am the source of her tears and her horrible day."

I should say so and dont u dare tell me not to speak she said, looking at the smilling going on between her husband and the elf. She began to scowl.

"Terace, please. Must you speak so harshly? You would me with you sharp words." Lenora's tone was serious but her eyes were gleaming with suppressed mirth.

Terace glared at the connection between her husband and the dirty intruder," I would wish you adress my husband and me in royal term, for you have no right to call me by my first name." I said sharply. John backed away as he saw the fight brewing between the two weman.

Lenora's eyes narrowed even more as she bowed deeply. "My most humble apologies, your magesties. Please, if you ever require anything of me, hesistate not." She straightened and adjusted her gown.

" And dont forget your place, or you will regret every word you say. I will not have you act like you have been, and dont you dare glare at me again." She said smugly.

Zayl watched as husband and wife toiled away at each other thinking he should never find a woman. How pathetic it is.

Terace snapped her head around " who is there." She asked.

"It is I Zayl, the warrior of Rathma, do not speak to me as I am watching all" said Zayl.

Oh great someone else to be insulted bye." she said exsasperated.

Zayl looks at her as if she was nothing more than a stain unable to be removed. Zayl didn't think very well of housewives especially these kinds.

" I can read minds and how dare you call me a housewife. I am the princess of the elven city and queen of the sprite kingdom." She said an orb of yellow light surounding her hand. John lowered her hand and glared at the stranger. " Well Zayal what is your buisness here?" JOhn asked calmly.

Lenora watched this exchange from the sides, with pursed eyebrows froming a v on her forhead.

"Just passing by, thought I"d see what all the rucus was" said Zayl gazing at everything.

Lenora stared at Zayl, every thing about him screamed at her. She knew him from somewhere. But where? Possible places assulted her mind, she scrolled throught them all quickly, but none of them were correct.

Zayl looked at Lenora with an all knowing gaze thinking to himself and smiling away.

The elf woman took a tentaive step towards Zayl, she kept going until she was only a foot away from him. Lenora looked up into his eyes, realization dawned on her as soon as she saw the familiar twinkle in his eyes. She threw herself into his arms. She started muttering incohearent words as tears flowed freely from her eyes.

Zayl watched in wonder as what was unfolding, a woman was in his him arms and he was holding her, he was very happy at this point. Zayl just hugged back tightly.

After a few moments in his arms, she stepped back and looked at him again. "Jonathon?" she asked, a slight quiver in her voice.

"My old name, but I got rid of it" said Zayl "It reminded me too much of the past" said Zayl looking into Lenora's eyes with a new found hope.

"But the past is where memories reside," she said haltingly, afraid of what his response might be, but also happy that they found eachother after so much time apart.

"Good and bad, I don't remember the past because of terrible memories" said Zayl.

" I am so happy he is here, now you will leave me alone, and why do u persue me so?" Terace asked half dragging JOhn to the door.

"I just wish to know, and be known. Is that understandable?" asked Zayl.

Lenora was confused, she knew that Jonathon, now called Zayl, was the one she remembered froma ll thsoe many years ago. But here he was, and he acted as if they enver went through all that, never had to fight for their lives, and never fell in love.

Zayl remembered it all, how they fought together against those that opposed he and she, and how madly in love with her he was and still is. "Lenora I still love you but I hated how we had to fight all the time, don't you see?" asked Zayl.

"But we were fighting for us, fighting for our love." Lenora didn't understand. When she first recognized him, she had a fleeting thought of everything being as it was, and them being together for forever. She now realized it a foolishness and hopeful thinking. Nothing is as it was before. Too many things change.

Lenora couldn't stand to look at him, not if she couldn't have him. She wouldn't be able to look at him and be able to stop the tears from flowing from her eyes, she was having a hard enough time of that with her back turned to him.

Throught the bluryness, she say Terace drag John out the door. Farewell, Terace and John. Merry wishes.

"Well maybe the past isn't too bad, do you still love me and must I leave now as well?" Zayl asked.

Lenora turned back towards him, but looked at the floor. She didn't speak for a moment, and her voice was very quiet when she did.

"Please.... Don't leave.... I still love you, I could never stop loving you." She started sobbing, and her hands wouldn't stay still. "I just don't know if you love me as I love you... And... I don't think I could be able to piece myself back together like I had to last time we seperated ways. We didn't se eachother for 50 years. I couldn't live like that again." She fell the the ground as her legs no longer held her up.

Zayl ran and caught her in his arms right before she hit the ground. Zayl looked into her eyes and fell in love all over again. He wanted nothing but to be with Lenora. "Lenora I want to be with you always" said Zayl and he hugged tightly.

Lenora could hardly believe her ears. I must be dreaming, she thought sadly. That's the only explanation for this. She sobbed on, waiting for the horrible moment when she is to wake up and know for certian that this never happened.

"This isn't a dream, I truly want to be with you always, do you feel the same?" asked Zayl still holding her and looking straight into her eyes with love.

Then, wonderboy came along and jumped into Zayls face and kicked him in the nuts, and said "I've come to res...*FART* whoops!!!!!" and flew away again

Do it again and I'll be having a talk with Firetongue and Anniebee about this.

Zayl just looked at Lenora with a wishing glance. And waited for her response.

"Of course I want to be with you." She said, her voice full of love. Wonderous love. She never thought that she would ever feel this way again. Not after her heart was broken before.

"But," she said, "if we are to travel father into this, which I hope we do, I think we should promise never again to run like that again. Even if it seemed best at the time... When I looked back upon it, I could tell there was more than that option." Lenora looked up into his eyes, wishing that she could read minds. There was no telling what lay behind them.

"And I with you, but can that ever be? Can you love me like I love you?" asked Zayl with compassoin he hadn't been up with since last he saw her.

"I promise never to run again, Me as well with the opinion, it was not best suited at the time" said Zayl wishing for her to love him as he loves her.

occ: hey lets get back to the story that involves everyone LOL
" I am so happy for you now bye bye" Terace said waving then rushed off.

"Goodbye," Lenora said, watching them go out the door.

a limping figure hidden in the shadows was confused.
"Follow them" she whispered
and the small creature jumped off her hand and followed them.

" Finaly I have rid myself of thier burden. I will no precede to overthrow the elven kingdom and regain my former status." She said smilling at her husband, then they headed to the dragon rooms, to get thier dragons.

The creature continued to follow them
the shadows making it invisible
and magic making sure nothing could sense it

Zayl watched as Terace left, waving goodbye.

Lenora sneezed, breaking the uncomfortable silence that gripped the room so tightly. She reached into her pocket, searching for a hankerchief to wipe her suddenly blurry eyes.

Zayl handed her one that had been in his pocket. He had never used it so he gave it to Lenora.

"Thank you," she said, and promptly burst into tears.

"Why do you cry?" asked Zayl. "What have I done?" Zayl asked.

Lenora sniffled, wiping her tears away. "You didn't do anything," she said between sobs.

"Then why do you cry so?" Zayl asked.

perked ears were hearing every word

"I truly do not know," she paused, her tears rapidly dried as a quizzical look graced her face. "Do you get the feeling that were being watched?" she finally asked.

Terace saw a figure skulking around the elf, and she headed back down the steps.

or that was what they all thought at the death fo Zayl.
But it was not true
for the death was not permanant.
The figure emerged from the shadows.
She limped towards the body and breathed into her mouth.
As the child collapsed. Zayl woke up in her pool of blood, Zayl was unharmed but her wound was mirrored on the child.

Zayl arose and looked for Lenora. Wondering where she could be.

The kid screamed in pain
her eyes opened and she gripped her side

slowly she rose to her feet and asked "Where are you headed?"

Terace walked out and watched the conversation unfold.

The kid noticed terace and began to fidget as her question remained unanswered

Lenora was confused. "Who? Me?" she asked.

"Yes, where are you going" she said "and who are all you people?"

" I am terace the queen of both sprite and Elves alike." Terace said smilling.

"I am Lenora," the elf said. "And, at the moment, I do not know where I am going." She looked at Zayl expectantly, waiting for his answer.

Tthe kid said "I am Elaine and i'm searching for the cure to my curse"

"Elaine," Lenora said. "What is your curse?" The elf looked the girl over; she saw nothing visibly wrong with her, but then again, Lenora was tired and not thinking straight.

Zayl watched and thought of what curse could be upon this child. Zayl felt the urge to help but didn't know what to do.

Terace stepped forward, and walked around the child. She slowly let her hand raise and fall, and soon the child was encompassed in a red aura, that would search for the curse. " It may sting a little." She said, but softly enough as not to scare the child.

Zayl watched the process go and tried to figure out what curse he could of spoken about and how to get rid of it.

pps. i can't die, i can't age, and whenever someone is injured near me i am forced to take on their wound
e.g. the stab wound and the limp

just tweaked a little, i can do what i want generally, but the curse forces me to take on their injury
and because i can't die i have to suffer the pain of it

" This is interesting and all, but what can we do for you.?" Terace asked impatiently.

"i'm looking for a witch, only when i find one can i find a cure. Do you know any?"

Terace shuddered at the thought. " Yes I do, and do not run into any of them, nothing good can come from it." She said remembering old times, and she rubbed her back.

"I have no choice, if i don't find the cure soon it will be to late" she said
slowly she held out her hands to show them her slit wrists "I've had these for four years, and they still hurt as much as they did then"

Lenora listened to this exchange silently, absorbed in thought. After a minute or so, she came to her descision.

"Child," she said. "I know of one who might be able to help you. But she lives far away and the journey there would be long and ardorous. And it is possible that she died, but she was alive and well when I saw her last. Granted that was a long time ago, but her kind are known for their longevity."

Lenora looked at the girl and spoke again, this time softly. "Would you be willing to go to her? I would gladly take you there."

"I am willing to do that and more" Elaine says, feeling hope for the first time since her mother betrayed her.

Zayl still watched the happenings being in the back. Zayl figured her curse and must be only breakable by that same kind. Zayl thought of what he should at this point.

"Very well, Elaine. I shall prepare what is needed for the trip, we'll leave at day break tomorrow." Lenora looked at the girl with critical eyes. This journey will be very hard on her, but she is strong. She should make it, she thought to herself.

"Zayl," she added as an after thought. "If you would like to come also, meet us at the stables on the morrow." She looked at everyone in the room. "If you should need me, I should be in my room or about, don't hesitate to come to me."

She walked out of the room, her feet moved quickly and with purpose.

Elaine nodded and said "Thank you" before leaving herself

Zayl thought of the outcome if he were to go with the party. Hmmm, should make for a good trip, might see a couple of interesting things and I could meet him on the way, Zayl thought. Zayl hurried after Lenora and told her he was accompanying them and then he went to his own quarters to medtiate.

" Wait!" Terece called after them all, then ushered them back into the room. " I don't think that the child should go. The last time I met with a witch, it was for the same purpose as the child. I thought my natural powers were a curse. I hated them. The witch was said to be good, and she said she could get rid of them for me, and I trusted her. One day she pulled a knife on me. She had wanted my power for her own good. She repeatedly stabbed me in the back, then did witchery on me, but thankfuly my powers weren't a curse, and I lived through five days of being an experiment. At one point while I was unconcious, I felt her hit me in the head with her foot, because she couldn't get my powers. I was saved by Star Gazer, who was a captive of the witch. I still have twelve scars for everytime she stabbed me." Terace said crying.

Round the corner Elaine heard every word, she came round to face them.

"This is a curse, if i do not break it I shall be condemned to the forest, eternally in pain" she pushes her wrists out, still bleeding as strongly as they had four years ago "have you ever been abandoned by your family? Have you ever been forced to leave your home, to live in the forest an alone, an outcast?"

Terace stood quickly. " Girl you have no idea the pain i have suffered over the years. I have been outcast, I have been mutinied by my family, because of the curse that is called a power." Terace said angrily.

ooc(out of character): if her wrists had been bleeding heavily for 4 years, wouldnt the amount of blood that she has lsot kill her?!?! jw

"Please," Lenora said quickly, stepping between them. "Don't agrue. Terace," she said, turning to her. "If Elaine wishes to go this enchantress, then let her do so. You may caution her, but lay a hand on her or use force on her in any way and I won't be responsible for my actions." Lenora glared at Terace. "I've about run out of patience in regard to you."

The elf turned to Elaine, "If she does anything at all, tell me." With one final glare at Terace, Lenora departed from the room.

ooc: she can't die
Elaine shuddered and without a word left the room.

Zayl saw for what Terace really was, a monster. She had been a captive and that captivity made her a monster. Zayl made symbols with his saber for a protection on the child. "I feel we must see this witch, she may help this child and whatever torment you've gone through Terace, you were alone and I now see why" said Zayl scornfully and left the room with the other two.

" My regards to you are good ridance. You follow me, you flirt with my husband, you act like you are better than me. I have never layed a hand on a child, and I wouldn't dare, so when you find the girl missing body parts don't come crying to me." She yelled after them and the weather outside changed to a storm.

IC: Whoa that was nasty, and weird at the same time

OOC: Zayl looked back, "What do you mean by flirting with your husband?" said Zayl. "You'd best not touch the child or else you will be losing something as well, and how would that child be losing her body parts anyway?" asked Zayl, "Don't threaten anybody of this party except yourself, maybe you should kill yourself to end our agony." said Zayl, he looked outside to see a weak storm. "What a pity excuse for power." said Zayl and he followed after the other 2 to leave Terace to her blundering.

" I wasn't threatening anyone. That is what is going to happen if the witch turns on her." Terace called, and the storm picked up momentum and the thunder sounded and lightening flashed. She was angry, and the storm turned fierce. " By the way you should ask her about my husband and how great of buds they are."

Occ: a little less rude please.

"I'll do just that" said Zayl and he was out the door.

As the door opened, it smacked 1337master in the nose. (I dont wanna confuse you guys so im translating it to english) ," ouch!" He fell back and a raindrop hit him on the head.

Lenora had never known fury at such great heights. She dropped the flask she was putting in her saddle bags; when she looked down she was shocked to see that her hands were trembling. How dare she, a small part of her mind kept saying over and over. A larger part of her head was choosing so say: She is only trying to do what's best for Elaine. Her past experiences with sorcery were not good, and as she is a good person, she's trying to use her better knowledge to help.

She doesn't know my enchantress though, Lenora thought to herself. My sister would never intentionally harm anyone. She goes out of her to make sure others are happy before she takes care of herself. No harm can possibly come from this. She set to packing again, her mouth set in a grim line.

Elaine was shaking but saw 1337 master fall and went over to him.
"Hello, do you need a hand?"
