you have a problem!!!!!

I was up on night, reading a book using a flashlight. Everything was normal, I wasn't reading any type of book that would freak me out or start my imagination going. Suddenly, I heard this screaming sound, loud, but not from outside or my family. For the rest of the night I was freaked out. Whatever I heard, it didn't sound human.

Come again? Though I am Irish... not good...

I live in the city, in one of the safest streets in the city probably. It was not ANY animal around here.

We only get cougars at the South Saskatchewan River sometimes. First two sightings in two years where in the paper a few weeks ago. I'm a good bike or car drive away from the river.
It wasn't human. I can never describe it. When I was younger I described it as evil
It was also coming from my room beside me. My sister and dad never read the sound.

A cat? When they fight they scream at each other and it sounds SORT OF like a little girl screaming. I heard one last night, actually. It was really creepy because I actually WAS reading a "scary" book. I hate cats.

It was not a cat. I've heard them before. Looks like this one is going to the X-files....

I've never heard a fox screeched so it could be it. I'm doubtful that a fox wander that far into my area, though at the time the major area where most of the houses in my hood are was still being built. We do have a vixen that uses a field by the highway every year for her cubs though. See what I can find.

This seems a bit "too" Supernatural. I'd say its the tricks of the mind. Especially since I don't believe in the Supernatural -- not on this earth anyway.

Sounds like common problem. I find myself doing things i dream years ago but when you think about it carefuly you will find out that it was very probable that something like this will happen. It's like weather forecast->it's not 100% but from time to time you're right

Ever get that feeling your being watched and your alone? I get that feeling WAY to often. My mom told me that when I was a baby, we lived in a house where a little girl had died. Guess who had her room? Me. When we lived in Arkansas, we lived in another house that I do believe was haunted myself. My mom heard somebody who sounded like me (a little girl about 8yrs old) running around in the kitchen giggling. She got up and looked out her door in the direction of my room. My door was shut. She went in my room to make sure I was asleep and my arm was floating. It was straight up in the air, and when she tried to put it down, it took all of her strength. There ain't no way I'm ever going near that house again. It didn't exactly help that the house across the road had a very weird shaped tree.
When I was a little girl (7yrs) I had a dream that I was in a school I had never seen before. I was in a room with a teacher named Ms. Barrel. No jk, that's a name that's hard to forget. I asked if I could go to the library, and I did. 2yrs later I move to a town near Arkansas named Burkburnett. My mom enrolled me in the school there, and guess what my teacher's name was? Ms. Barrel. I went in that classroom and the feeling that I'd been there before was so strong I got dizzy and almost fell over. 2 weeks later I asked if I could go to the library, and what do ya know? I went. I got to the door of the library and once again, deja vu so strong I almost fell over. It still happens to me this day. I dreamed that I was going to get something when someone asked me something. The dream ended there, but keep reading. I was in geography class one day and I started getting dizzy, so I got up to get the hall pass so I could go get a drink. My friend looked up and asked me something, and this time I fell flat on my butt. Another time I had a dream I was talking to some kid wearing a bright orange plaid shirt with jeans. There was someone sitting in front of him wearing all black. Then one day when I was sitting at the back of the bus, my brother's friend James sat down right across from me and he was wearing an orange plaid shirt with jeans, like the kid in my dream. Everything is fine, except I knew what was coming when Lindley sat down in the seat in front of James. He was wearing all black. This time I knew I would have to wait a bit, because the dream ended when we turned left at the donut shop. Sure enough, we stopped next to the donut place and I started getting dizzy. The bus driver took the turn and I was still so dizzy I had to grab onto my seat to keep from falling out.
