we have already had a book called fire though, and all of the covers have a color and their respective dragon on it

it might be orange but it 90% isnt and just because its cool its not neccarily(sp) orange
i think itll be black with shruikan but it might be green for the new dragon

i found a qoute from CP himself that the cover will feature an emrald green dragon so the cover will be green.

At the time we were discussing the Ra'zac joining the varden and sorry for not mentioning it but I meant their are none left in Alagaesia so they couldn't join the varden as they weren't any in Alagaesia.a

yes we do. the cover of the book has a 99% chance of being green because of an interview in July this year that CP did saying the dragon will in fact be green, and on the cover of the book, and all of the other books have been the same color of the dragon.

But that would mean that it could also be black for Shruikan. I think that it will be green though.

He night not even put a dragon on the front of the book. He did for all the others but that doesn't mean he has to do it for the last one.

I don't know. I'm just saying that its a possibility. If something major happens it could have something to do with that.

its likely to be green, since thats the color of the final dragon, bersonally I would like it to be black but the books go by the color of the dragons, saphira blue, thorn red, Brisingr had black on it because it looks good I'd guess, but the fourth book will be green.

It still might not be. CP can make the color whatever he wants.

lol that would be somewhat amusing, though storyline surprises are more important than book color surprises..

We know the last dragon is green and I'm sure CP will shock us all.

I would imagine there will be shocking things in the story but why would he go out of his way to make the cover some big change? they wouldn't fit together as nicely if he were to suddenly change what he has been doing on the very last book.. (*has hardcover editions of all of them because he is picky*)

I can still hope for a random unexplained surprise!
