The Destroyer War
I decided to write a fanfic for one of my pending RPG characters on the war he fought back in his own home. hope it's interesting and enjoyable.
Prologue - The Birth of An Army
Teraz stared at the oncoming ship from the coast. It was a foggy and overcast day, but he could still tell that the ship was huge, the largest he had ever seen arrive in Orthin, nearly as big as he himself. He wondered who was travelling in it. He hoped it wasn't more selfish humans; he did not want to have to kill them all again. He decided to fly out towards it to see who would be arriving in it. He felt rather curious as to what newcomers would have come into this unheard of land.
He launched himself into the air and rode the currents, relaxing, squinting at the ship and trying to see who rode it. As he neared it, he saw that it was full of men. They were all tightly packed in it and looked like they were suffering. Why would they all want to suffer just to come here? Perhaps they had been forced? By who? Why? These questions plagued Teraz's mind until from the corner of his eye something caught his attention. There was a man standing up on one of the wooden poles that held up the highest mast. He did not seem to be losing his balance, and a magenta aura surrounded him.
He flew closer to the ship and the all the men noticed him. They started to panick, but the man on top of the mast jerked his arm and they were all frozen in place. After a while they could move again, and Teraz could tell they were still scared, but they did not move away from their places. Teraz flew next to the mast where the man was standing. What are you doing? he asked him. Why are you coming to our land? The man ignored him. This attitude did not make Teraz think that these men were here for friendly intention.
He was about to grab the man in his talons, but then he spoke once more. "Go ahead and try to kill me dragon. My job is done, so even if I get killed my intent and purpose will live on in my Army. Your land will be ours and you will all die. Behold," the mand said. He lifted one hand, and from it a gigantic, purple ball started to emerge. It was probably ten times bigger than Teraz. He flapped his wings forward, moving himself back, feeling something that a human had never instilled in him before: fear. As the ball erupted completely out of the man's grasp, it split into millions and millions of smaller ones the size of a fist. Some flew down to the men in the ship below and the rest flew out behind the ship until they were lost in the fog. Teraz looked down at the purple balls that had sunk into the men's chests. Before his own eyes, they started to transform into skeletons. They turned to nothing but bones, all their clothes fell to the floor, transforming into white, bleached swords. Despite the fact that they were all now turning to skeletons, they did not look weak. On the contrary, they looked fiercer and stronger.
One of them turned up to look at Teraz and grinned evilly. Even though it was nearly a hundred feet down, it somehow jumped all the way up on top of him, did one backflip, and kicked Teraz right in the back. Teraz was surprised when the kick hurt and sent him flying down. He had to flap his wings hard to keep himself airborne, and as he looked up he saw that the skeleton was coming back down at him. Teraz gritted his teeth, and as the skeleton came down he grabbed it in his jaws and tried to crush it, but it was harder than he had expected. He pushed down on it harder with his teeth and it finally broke. He spit out the bones and they fell on the other skeletons. They merely laughed at the remains of their comrade.
Out of the fog, a battle horn sounded. It was long and mournful, like a song of death. Teraz shivered, then watched in terror as a whole fleet of ships came out of the fog, with skeletons dancing everywhere. He could not believe his eyes, but he knew that what was happening was true, and Orthin had to be warned to be prepared of the attack. He flew back towards the shore, where his mate, Idea, was at, as well as his son, Ezerre. He glanced back and saw about a hundred balls of red energy flying at him, less that five feet from him. He tried to swerve out of the way, but they followed him and soon caught up to him, hitting him on his side and one wing. Blood spurted out and Teraz roared as he felt the pain of a hundred swords piercing him, one by one. He buckled and fell down on the sandy beach, heaving with strained breaths.
Idea ran towards him, crying, for she knew that Teraz did not have long in this world. She snuggled up close to him and he whispered to her everything that had happened. She shuddered and said, I will tell everyone. They will all know and if this must come to war, then we shall win. Teraz smiled and the last thing he saw was his son landing on the ground, his green and golden scales looking as beatiful as ever. Take care, my son... he said. His breathing felt heavy and his sight was becoming blurry. He smiled. Already he felt the pain was lessening. His sight turned to black and he felt peaceful as he knew no more of this world and all his senses shut down.

Re: The Destroyer War
Chapter 1: New hope.
Ever since his father died on the shore, Diagor had been extremely depressed. In fact everyone seemed very sad. The only real thing that keep the town from staying in there dwellings was that there was a great battle coming and they had to prepare.
Many beveled that the fortifications were useless as the accounts of what happen given from his mother were horrific. Even the council of the elders seemed very apprehensive of what may come. His only regret that he could not finish his training in time to fight.
He walked around the town looking at all the fortifications the town had already did. All ready trenches were dug, spikes made, and traps set. He had never seen such cautions before taken over just humans, but it seems these were not just humans...they were something else.
He noticed his training master, Moker helping with the fortifications. Moker noticed Diagor and ran over to him. " Diagor," He said " I have great news, I have talked to the council of elders and they agreed to let you fight in the battle if i give you as much training as i can."
Diagor could not believe it. He would be able to fight! "When will training start?" Questioned Diagor. " Immediately"
