 Summmer 2008 so closeWith summer around the corner I'm just can't get over the exciment. So just decided to see what camps people on this site like? But also can't wait for school to come for brisinger!

Re: Summmer 2008 so close LOL i think ive ever had a summer as packed as this one.... first off im taking a trip to the uk with my girlfriend, then im going to Australia with an organization called people to people.... finally once im back from Australia, is prolly the trip im most looking forward to.... I get to go visit Pixar animation studios
.... This was for a program they had for high school students who are looking into the field, to see the work hands on, and i got accepted _________________

I just noticed, but this topic is very similar to the vacations topic. Oh well, we can just discuss summer in general here, I suppose. Well, to me, summer is just the best time of the year! No school = no worries, plus there's the nice weather. Winter is nice and all, but it's a little bit boring because you can't go outside or have a picnic and that kind of stuff. But summer is awesome because there are no limits! I heard that it was proved scientifically that people are most happy in summer, due to the green colors around them. Green being the most pleasing color to the human eye. |

Re: Summmer 2008 so close Hmm, sitting home and doing nothing sounds pretty fun to me. Lol that's because I have lost of video games, TV, and much more stuff I can find to do. Or I could read the Inheritance books again.
Only 5 days left!!! Well, technically 3 days, because Friday is a completely free day and we most likely won't be doing anything you have to pay attention to. And Wednesday is our Spirit Day, so we'll be outside the whole day, so that really doesn't count. _________________

I don't know what it's equivalent of over there, but most people start sixth form college at 16 here. Basically at the moment you have to continue education until you're 16, then people either go to college, get a job, or get an apprenticeship.I'm nervous, but looking forward to it, especially art- they have an amazing art department there, I went to see it on a visit day. And they do life drawing classes in the evening  I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of the Summer... _________________ . . . . . .

Here it's basically the same choices at 18, and college usually starts the last week of August. Same here, my school has an amazing engineering department that I saw at orientation. Looking forward to it, although all the interesting classes are years away  What do you mean, rest of the summer? It's practically over with! Re: Summmer 2008 so close Sixth form college is basically the type of college you go onto after senior school, as opposed to a college for adults. Sometimes it's still part of a senior school with bells and more rules, or- like the one I'm going to, a seperate, bigger place where you get more freedom, as well as responsibility, which seems better to me.
Well, I have a few weeks I suppose, but there's not much to do... a few weeks of nothing is still boring _________________ . . . . . .
