Gender: Female

Age: Nearly a year

Skills: Valkaria is a shape shifter, a skill she inherited from their mother. Her skill is only slightly developed, though, as she is still very young. She can shift into a person that is probably a half human/half elf and a bald eagle.

Race: Dragon

Eyes: Amethyst, one with a bit of blue

Home village: An island near Sharktooth

Parents: Seren and Braith

Siblings: Two brothers, Zeltys and Vulcan

Personality: She is always kind to their friends, but she tends to be impatient, like her mother. Valkaria takes after her mother more than her father. Like Seren, she is very curious and likes to explore. She will sometimes follow an animal half a mile in order to find out where it is going. She is a very good listener, and always remembers what people say, though she may not always take advice. She enjoys examining things in detail, and has very clear images of random objects in her head. She always seems to know if someone is upset, no matter how hard they try to hide it, and she always wants to help. She can sometimes be a little vain, and she loves to watch the sun glint off her scales as she flies, and even though she tends to dislike the cold, she likes winter because the snow creates even more light to reflect off her scales. Valkaria is also very excitable, she will get hyper at just the mention of a fight. She is very fast, and does not like to stay still if she could be doing something. She hates rain because it makes everything damp and squishy and the clouds hide the sun. She also likes to collect stones, and is always trying to find a prettier one. Her favorites are the ones the same color as her scales.

History: Valkaria’s egg was laid and hatched on a small island near Sharktooth. For a few months she and her parents, Seren and Braith, and her two siblings, Zeltys and Vulcan, lived together on the island. During that time, Valkaria was flying alone, and wondering about birds and what it would be like to be one, when suddenly, she found that she was a bird. She flew back immediately, and Seren realized that she had inherited the talent of shapeshifting. When she learned this, she was delighted, and would often shift into the only form she could, an eagle, which helped to sate her curiosity, as she could fit into much smaller places than she could as a dragon. Soon after that, she learned to shift into a human/elf in much the same way as she had learned to shift into an eagle. She learned to walk and talk like a human, though she always prefers to be a dragon. A while after that, her parents decided to leave the island and go back to fight against the Empire, but the triplets wanted to stay. Valkaria stayed on the island for a few months, but then she grew tired of the isolation and decided to go out and explore the world. First she settled in the spine, but after being attacked by the Empire’s soldiers three times, she left. She flew throughout Alagaesia, looking for a place to live, and eventually settled in the Hadarac desert. She occasionally leaves, but for the most part, she prefers to stay.

Weapons: As a dragon she has her teeth and claws, and as a human she has an elven sword and bow.

Likes: Rocks, sunny days, pine trees

Dislikes: Rainy days, cold, very windy days

Physical description: Valkaria is a large dragon, much larger than normal for her age with a wingspan of forty feet. She has dark purple, almost black scales, and they and they sparkle and glitter in the sun so she is almost too bright to look at. She has bright, very interested, amethyst eyes, and the top half of her left one has a slight bluish tinge to it. She has ivory spikes on her neck, fading into black on her tail. She can change into any elf/human form she likes.

Dreams for the future: For Galbatorix to be gone.

Reasons for dreams: Valkaria wants dragons to be able to live in peace.
