Kurdon rubbing his throat without meaning to at Nachel's reply. "No, I was simply wondering if I should leave soon or not. I wouldn't want her to 'slash my throat' for simply being here..." He said, yet again, without looking down at Nachel. "I'm actually kind of surprised she hasn't woken up because our talking."

Kurdon looked at Mya, obviously startled. He felt a shiver go up his spine. It took him a few seconds to generation a reply. "Im not always a hateful monster. Im only like that when Im bored, and Nachel has been keeping entertained." he grinned, a little nervous.

OOC: O.o that's a little weird. Ok, I like to day dream about RPs and such while waiting for a reply (don't judge me xD) but, I was day dreaming about this one and I dreamed that Mya asked "What are your customs?" ...which is close to what you asked... xD weird

Kurdon thought about it, as he hadn't practiced Nurdan tradition in who knows how long. "Nurdans didn't believe in a single all-mighty entity like the humans do, or in multiple like the dwarfs. Nurdans believed that we came to exists from a naturally occurring energy source. We don't know what that source is as we believe that the source was used up long ago and ceased to exist. And so we believed that we all had a limited supply of energy that would one day run out." He paused for a moment. "Our traditions are a bit strange. Such as, when one would celebrate their day of birth, they would have to eat raw meat the entire day. It was based of the thought that raw meat contained more energy than cooked meat and to live longer, you needed energy. This was only practiced on ones birthday because it was told that it would bring bad luck and shorten your life if you did it any other time of the year." He paused again. "We only had 2 large celebrations a year, our year was 20 human years, during which everyone would gather in their respective cities to celebrate. The first was Etrec Nan Dal, or Day of Light. It was supposedly the day that the first being had enough energy to be counted as living; the birth of our race. The second was Felay Dal, or New Light. It was the humans equivalent of a New Years Day, and we celebrated on the first day of each new year." He paused to let all the information sink in. "Does that answer your question?" He asked with a slight smile.

Mýa drank in the information eagerly. She loved learning about other races. Once he finished, her silver-amber eyes were glittering. A wolfish grin wrinkled her muzzle. Yes it does. Is there anything else about werewolves your curious about? she asked, a gleam twinkling in her eye.

Mýa mulled his answer over in her mind. Her purring turned to an affectionate rumble. She was about to reply when something moved out in the landscape. Her head shot up and she scanned the area around them, ears pricked straight, occasionally twitching. She heard it again. Her muscles tensed to spring. If she heard it a third time she was attacking. She raised her nose and sniffed, but the wind was betraying her by blowing away from her.

Kurdon looked up when he heard the sound, but dismissed it at first. He heard it again, form the same area and stared at it. He sat still, not moving anything but his eyes. He watched carefully for any signs of movement.

Mýa heard it again and sprang to her paws, hackles bristling and muzzle quivering. The wind shifted, blowing sharply into her face. She recoiled, whining as she pawed at her nose to try and get that disgusting stench out of her snout. Sickly sweet and cold, burning her nose harshly. What are you doing out here, parasite? she snapped, finally looking up. Two yards in front of her stood a pale figure, completely covered in a black cloak except for the eyes. A warm gold-amber edged with light grey. Though they were muted, as if the light in them was darkening steadily to black. In reality, they actually were,"Shut your muzzle, mutt. I'm not here to hunt." growled the figure, lowering the hood of their cloak. It was a woman. And a vampire. She pulled her waist length mohagony hair out, letting it cascade her back. She padded forward a yard then sank gracefully to the ground, crossing her legs. Mýa remained on her feet, a steady growl still vibrating her chest. The vampire rolled its eyes,"Honestly, mongrel. I'm not thirsty. I swear." it said in exasperation. The she-wolf reluctantly sat on her haunches, her back nearly touching Kurdon's side.

Vermona sighed and crossed her arms, looking past the werewolf to the man behind her,"Hello, I'm Vermona. If you haven't guessed already, I'm a vampire." she said shortly. At the word, the she-wolf's growl sharpened. The female vampire simply ignored her.

Nachel understood instantly as Kurdon got up, telling them to leave. He got to his paws and circled around his mate, herding her away. She wanted to go back and help, but every time she tried to dodge him, he was right there with his teeth bared and ears flat against his skull. Finally she gave in, turning tail and running flat out. Nachel turned and looked at Kurdon, gratitude within the depths of his bright golden eyes. Thank you, Kurdon. he murmured, then bolted after Mýa.

Vermona watched the werewolves retreat and thought that they must know what was happening. She stood on her feet, taking off her cloak and laying neatly folded on the ground. Her pale white skin nearly glowed in the light of the moon. Her gold-amber rimmed with light grey eyes were gleaming. Her keen sight caught his shaking, and coupled with what he'd done a few moments ago, she guessed that he wanted to destroy something. She took a step forward,"I'm less breakable than werewolves. I'll stay." she said, and the firmness in her voice allowed no reproach.

Kurdonlooked at her with an eyebrow raised. "well... Seeing as there isnt anyone around here but me, you, and the mutts that ran off, I guess ill have to make you scream as much as an entire city." He continued to smile at her, as a wall of fire enclosed both of them. "Thats right... I know you dont like fire, I saw the way you jumped back from my hand and looked at the flaming tree earlier." he raised his hand and created a fireball. "scream for me..." he said, and launhed the fireball.
