Magic User: Galrauch is a talented magic user, on par with other shades. He prefers to use magic to inflict plagues and pestilence upon his foes and the lands around him. Most beings avoid spending too much time with him due to the stench of death that follows him and the fear he will cause the same suffering to them that he has too many others. He does not use magic often unless used for interrogation or against another magic user, however he has an above average mental shell that most cannot penetrate.

Swordsman: Galrauch is an incredible swordsman. Very few humans could have a dream of holding their own with him and many elves would be outdone by his ability as well. Having the speed, strength and endurance of a Shade combined with countless years of practice has refined him into a deadly close combat foe. His laser like precision and overwhelming strength has led to his victory numerous times but has also seen him nearly defeated on two occasions due to his arrogance.

Hand to Hand: Galrauch's hand to hand is surpassed only by his sword skills. He fights like a modern day practitioner of Muay Thai would and does so very well. His knees and elbows have silenced many an opponent when he was unarmed or not allowed to use deadly force

Character Personality: Galrauch is a sarcastic, melancholy bastard in summary. He often talks of the end of times and is not the most charismatic of beings. Rarely engages in a lengthy conversation and often provoking others during that time he uses a subtle sarcasm and arrogance that greatly annoys most. His only friends are made in war and may become his enemy the next day depending on the course of the battles. Galrauch cares not about death and his casual talk of it has gotten him into more than a couple fights. Most of these unworthy opponents are dispatched by his hand to hand skills. When he speaks it sounds as if multiple people are talking as one, for all the spirits inside him are one and that is Galrauch the Plague Bearer.

Character History: Galrauch spent his early life as a young boy the son of the high priest of Dras-Leona's cathedral Because of this he lived a very odd and demented childhood from the areas odd local religion involving human sacrifice that he was often forced to aid with. While exploring some old textbooks on spirits he accidently caused a gaping hole to open and the spirits consumed him, he knows not his original name only his new one of Galrauch. After this occurred he massacred the guards and fled to the wilderness. He came across an elven hermit in a nearby forest and killed him after nearly an hour of prolonged combat. This elf carried a very, very worthy blade and Galrauch bears it to this day. Galrauch is the spreader of plagues and sickness but is never a victim of the afflictions himself. Often times the plagues he spread can destroy small towns and cause huge crop harvest problems for the bigger cities if he feels particularly daring. Galrauch is a very fearful opponent in close combat where he loves to fight. Opponents are often torn apart by his masterful swordplay and his dominant magical attack. The two combined on a single opponent is very destructive. However, while he is a good one on one fighter he is much better against numbers. Launching sickly afflictions that jump to their worst stage quickly, he can devastate large numbers fast. While working towards casting these he is quiet open to physical harm if someone can get to his heart. He follows the war between Galbatorix and the Varden, causing death and destruction on both sides and causing general havoc but finds himself enjoying helping the King more.

Weapons:

Freohr Lam: Galrauch's blade's name means deaths hand in the ancient language and he slew the elf who forged it long ago. It has a sickly green blade that would never break, become dull, or scratch (much like a blade of a rider) and has white runes that run the length of the blade. It has a black hand and a half hilt as well. An emerald sits in the hilt and provides a large energy source for Galrauch should he need it.

Likes: A good fight, long sword duels, death, destruction, sickness, war, money.

Dislikes: Common Soldiers, Good immune systems, weaklings, people who hesitate to act.

Character's Physical Description: Galrauch shares the pale skin of most shades, his however is marked by glowing green tattoos. He wears black robes over his light black armor that also bears the same strange markings of his tattoos. The armor is very durable, but will not stop big time attacks as well as heavy armor and is very, very easy to move in. His blade rests in a black scabbard at his waist and he also carries a shield. He stands as a relatively large shade standing six foot two and roughly two hundred pounds. Galrauch’s body is strong and muscular as well as covered in the same ritualistic, glowing green tattoos. Magic permeates his body and he often carries a few scrolls on him. Galrauch is typically also carrying a medium sized pouch filled with money.

Dreams for the Future: Spread a viral plague that causes massive havoc, hopefully aiding one side in the war but not a big deal.

Reason for Dreams: Galrauch loves watching his plagues spread.

Alignment/side: Neutral. Follows the war and intervenes to help whoever’s losing the leans hat day seeking to prolong the conflict. For now he helps Galby a little more often.
