RPGC
I was looking though the Du Weldenvaden RPG section and saw one, at the top, labeled RPGC. I was wondering what this stands for and what make it different from the rest?

It's a very old concept that was around before I even became a moderator on this forum. We don't use it anymore as we have introduced the Epic Adventures section of the site.

well couldn't we still have something like that? outside the Epic section? I think it would be fun to have something like that. Pushing people to their edge to out do each other in creativity.

No, we have a competition rp, and then it's just a normal rp but your posts are being judged. At least, I think that's it.

Re: RPGC
Yes. I would have something up sooner but for the life of me I cannot figure out what to give the winner... I would make a banner of some kind but I'm bad at that kind of thing. I'd give a place in the Epic RPG but that's easy enough to get on it's own. Actually, I just worked out what to give. Cheers for making me think!

I have an idea for a good RPGC if you're interested, Aeraldi But it's only meant to be for dragons.

Or underneath their name it says "RPGC Contest Winner of the Month" And .... um ... they get to be in a new usergroup called "Pro RPers" only for those who've won a contest.

Re: RPGC
Hey Aeraldi, I know you are still working on the finer points and all, but would this kind of be like an Epic, because there is a RP I want to start in the Epic section, but an important character of mine is still needing accepted for that. Anyway if this is, then I can just post it for the RPGC and not have to worry to much about getting my character accepted yet.
And will we have to send our characters through another acceptance section to allow them to be in the RPGC?
I guess the second kind of goes with the first question, but they are separate

Re: RPGC
I don't think they've ever had to send characters through more applications to get in the RPGCs before ... unless Aeraldi changes that.

Okay I've got one more question, can we use existing RPG's for the RPGC?
I mean if we already have one going, can we enter it, or do all of them have to be new?

I think i an RPGC the Head Mod(in this case Aeraldi) creates an RP everyone creates their own also, I don't know if it is the joining posts to the RPG Head Mod's RPG, or what, I wasn't here when they were still going.

please hurry with this, I have some very important things that are going to happen to my characters and Draco's and Fanghur's and Veonth's for my RPGC. But it is based in the past, so I can't mention anything right now because then people will know and they aren't supposed to till it happens.

Re: RPGC
Okay i've got to ask this question to make myself feel better.
Are we still pushing for this or not?
I've discovered that everything about who my charrys are, and who they will be hangs with this RPGC. If we aren't pushing, then I'll just through it in as an Epic. I mean we've been talking about this since the beginning of May and at the end of May it was just going to be a few weeks into june when we'd start, but now's it almost the end of August and we are now looking far ahead into the future trying to guess when we'll finally start, so i just want to know.
I can see that I'm frustrated, even alittle mad, and I'm sorry, but at this point I think I'm entitled to be.

Re: RPGC
No, Kit, it's fine. I'm getting somewhat anxious, myself. It's obvious you have something very interesting planned, and if I had something very important for my charries I'd be impatient too. Basically, Louis hasn't replied yet on if the planned prize can be ready. Aeraldi and I were trying to think of possible prizes within the rps, like something for our charries maybe, but that hasn't been settled satisfactorily either. If you have any suggestions for a back-up prize, then please suggest away.
If we get the go-ahead from Louis or think of another prize, then everything will be set.

I was checking out this RPGC thing as well, though I never really had any real plans for it. I personally think it is a great idea, and it may give me the chance to see what my characters are capable of ... Anyway, I hope we actually do it!

Hey, do you have any suggestions for an in-rp prize, Ben? Like something the charries would get, rather than the user? 'Cause if we find an alternate prize and agree on it, we can get this thing going.

Re: RPGC
hey, what if they get some special weapon, that only one of their characters can have, and it can't be transferred. and maybe, since everyone's charrys are different, maybe the winners can make-up a weapon, but it has to be passed through an application kind of process to make sure it isn't to powerful?

Re: RPGC
Hmmm... This one is a real head-scratcher actually, lol. Ummm... They could get the awesome power of growing hair (if they were a dragon), or growing scales (if they were a human/elf/whatever), or, if they were one of those few Phoenix characters, they could shed there feathers, and in there place would be scales, so they looked like a sort-of mini dragon.
I realize these might not be the exact term of 'prizes' you had in mind, but I think it could be nice, . If you think that the prizes should be like Physical powers, let me know, I can think of something, trust me . I have a very active imagination...

Well, I see the need for a priza, but what would rewally be the point, if I wanted Anthor to have a super cool sword, I could simply create an RP, and have him get it, then edit his bio so he has it, I really don't see the point of a prize, but I see the point in a competition.

Will the RPGC have to completed by a certain time, or will just when they get finished, because mine might take a while to complete, I'm not sure?
