LOL fathskie... funny because I thought the exact opposite for both... if you were in the sun, you would quickly get heatstroke and pass out. you would quickly lose mentality or consciousness reducing the pain in that sense. However, freezing to death would be much worse because frostbite would absolutely cane as well as hypothermia slowly making you die when your body loses heat, making the blood drain away from the extremities to only circulate around the heart in an attempt to keep the body alive as long as possible. of course, I have experienced neither so my imagination has probably made both possibilities worse than they really are

and the ocean would kill you instantly i think... unless you happened to make a perfect dive and the water's surface was broken
