how do you achieve lucid dreaming?!?! I want to do some lucid dreaming!(that's when you control what you dream... or at least I think that's what it's called) I haven't had too much exciting dreams lately... cause I haven't remembered any lately... lol. I have a feeling I'm gonna get some awesome dream tonight, though. you know what's weird? there are times when I wake up and for a split second I remember what I dreamed, about five minutes later I only remember vaguely what the dream was about and like two hours later I can't remember what my dream was about at all... but that only happens sometimes. lol. _________________

Re: Dreams I have No Idea how I do it, I usually end up going to sleep trying to figure how I can get to LA, with the purpose of dating Demi in mind, so maybe just think about what you would like to dream about before you fall asleep.

Re: Dreams For me, I find it helps when I'm listening to music, and then I get in bed and start thinking about what I want to dream about and just keep thinking about it as I'm falling asleep. Just don't let yourself think about anything besides that.

Re: Dreams I started lucid dreaming when I was having bad nightmares and I wanted to get rid of them so I began consciously knowing they were nightmares and soon I was dreaming about doing absolutely nothing, and the smallest thought that something would happen I figured out would. Like, "I'll look up and see a brick wall" and there it is. And I could look at all the detail all I liked. And then I could be like "Some maniac is going to chase me" and I'll look over my shoulder and all of a sudden I'll be in an alleyway getting chased by a maniac. And soon I just became conscious I was dreaming and I could wake up whenever just by yawning.

Re: Dreams heh, not really, just that time. I mostly dream about forests, adventures, flyng, discovering, or anything supernatural. Mostly my dreams consist of gore and blood, to the point where I should be waking up, screaming. For instance, I dreamt a little girl was standing in a room, a very creepy room bytheby and she had long black hair that was pulled in a pony tail and wearing a white dress. She didn't look a thing like Samara, fwi, haha, but I asked her what was wrong. She reached over and grabbed my arm; her touch was so cold it stopped my heart. I literally felt my heart stop for thirty seconds and I was walking around without a heartbeat until I woke up. *shudder* Surprised I didn't wake up screaming. *nervous chuckle*

Re: Dreams Usually I have dreams about killing people, sometimes on accident or sometimes to save myself/someone else.
My uncle had been battling against cancer for quite a few years and no one had any idea when he'd die, because his health could come in and out really quickly. One day he was yellow, the next he wasn't. Then I had a dream I was escaping him through a forest, stole a truck and drove it into a city, but the engine failed. He was chasing me on his motorbike [in real life he'd taken me on rides and had promised that both of us could go on a mountain ride just together, although that never happened] so I was in some futuristic city, a dirty garbage-filled river -- which I guessed was full of sharp rubbish that would probably cut open my feet -- and a buzzing highway blocking my road off from escaping so I was at a dead end. Plus it was night and I remember only seeing streetlights and headlights [yeah, now I think about it, my dreams are very real]. My uncle chased me up and down streets, I had tactics in my head that I remember I used to get him off my trail for a few moments. And then I managed to get around him and all of a sudden I was blocked off by like, an army of guys with snipers or something. So I ran into a nearby caravan for cover and being insane because I knew I was going to die, I pleaded to the people inside for help. An old couple. They didn't know what to do, and told me to get out but as they opened the door I pushed out the old woman and they blasted her head. So, now I knew that they would rather kill me than make way for innocents. And I thought that I might as well save the old man his life so I walked out of the caravan with my hands up. The snipers didn't shoot me, instead my uncle stepped right before me with a hand gun, said something and got distracted, so I snatched the gun and blasted him over and over in the face. Then everything went black and the ground hit my head. I'm guessing I got shot by the snipers lol Anyway, once I woke up I got the news that my uncle finally passed away. Pretty insane eh? I didn't go to his funeral though, the excuse was that I didn't want to go to another in a span of three months (my gran had died from cancer too). I know, it sounds like I planned this out but it just was my dream. I know how my mind thinks and I just know what happened. I guess it's where I get inspiration for stories. Oo, now I'm in the zone, I'll talk about one of the creepiest dreams I ever had. Right, I dreamt me and my dad were driving along the highway at night in the middle of nowhere with only heaps of forest and barren land around. No one else was on the highway. Then it got dark so we decided we'd just pull over and go to sleep, so we did for several moments listening to the radio before the static took over. Outside the windows was basically all black cause we were surrounded by so many trees. I said I didn't like it here and that I wanted to leave but Dad tried to turn the ignition and the car wouldn't start. So we got worried and both got out of the car to look at it a bit, and I said something like, "isn't there dingoes out here?" and dad was like, "you should probably get back in the car." so I did and he said he'd go off searching for help. And so he left me alone in the back of the car, I didn't dare turn on the light [I've never even done it in real life when in situations like this before. Meaning, being along in the back of a car in the middle of nowhere. And yes, I've had that happen more than once, but that's another story for real life chat] because I knew if anyone or anything was out there they'd see the light and yeah. So I tried to sleep, everything was basically all black apart from some things a tone or so lighter outside, and then I heard the creepiest noise ever [in real life or dreams, and I don't even know how my imagination made it]. So I'm sitting in the back seat of the car, head down against the right back door so nothing outside would see me, and I hear the scariest sound [so scary just imagining it is getting me worked up]. It was like some rustling of cardboard several metres infront of the car in the trees, like something was being put together, and then the skimming of something dry against leaflitter and hard ground sliding along getting closer and closer until it passed right next to the car and kept going. And then when the sound faded there was a plonk of water. Like someone had dropped a stone in a deep river far away. I don't know how scary this might sound to you, but I swear it was so freaky. Cause I'm viewing everything in first person while laying in the backseat of a car, meaning I am only really blinking at the dark shapes of the front seats and the forest canopy through the window. I get freaked out and a little while later the thing starts again. Like someone's putting something together in the pitch black trees and shrubs several metres infront of the car, the skid of something dry passing by my head only protected by the door and then a distant plonk of water. So I think I've got to investigate so I peer out the window and count for a few seconds. I don't know if this'll sound stupid or not, but like, the face of a cardboard box appears from out of the shrubs and skims across the ground by the car, pulled by a rope and then disappearing into the dark before it's followed by the distant sound of plonking water. And I watched a few times and it was always the same box cause it had the same piece of masking tape on it. So anyway, as the box comes again, I open the car door, put my foot out and stop it, then lifted it up to find nothing [it had five sides, no ground face so it was empty]. I let it go again and it continued on it's way. And the next thing I rememeber is waiting for what felt like a long time watching for dingoes until I became unafraid of the stupid cardboard box, thinking it was only some device that someone had put there ages ago and had a glitch in the motor or something [yes, that was what I thought]. Anyway, the thought of the cardboard box and my dad kinda intermingled until I stepped out of the car and walked through the trees, kinda back into the direction of the empty highway that was somewhere out there in the dark, in search of the source of water. And then the dream kinda faded and I woke up. As simple as it sounds, you'd have no idea how scary it was. And those two dreams were one of the ones that weren't lucid because they were that real. So yeah, Swin, non-lucid dreams -- at least for me -- always come out the most full-on. I can't believe I just wrote that. *feels creeped by the second dream now though* _________________

Re: Dreams Ok, I had a really weird dream last night, lets see what I can remember....
I can't remember what I had done, but people were really mad at me and told me to stay in this one room, but I really didn't want to so for the longest time ever I was just trying to escape from this room, but I kept triggering things that would just toss me right back into it, and finally some people came and said that the next morning I was going to be killed (I had done some sort of crime, I can't remember what though) and so I tried all the more desperatly to get out and one of my friends/bosses came and was like "Is there any last thing you want me to get for you?" and I said jeans, so she kept coming back and bringing me jeans, they were really weird, the pair I remember the best were bright yellow (lol) and then my bro came and busted me out and we were walking around and I realized the room I had been stuck in had been in the camp that I worked at last summer and so we were walking around and the fact that I was going to die finally struck me and I started crying and freaking out and went running into the forest. Re: Dreams You guys are all telling the freaky, creepy, scary dreams... I get those too, they're not fun, and yours certainly are no exception. How about a funny/weird dream to lighten the mood? (I have some rather ridiculous dreams sometimes...)
Well, this dream was a few years ago. I dreamed it was my birthday (which is in January) so we were having a party with some of my friends. My brothers and I started riding the four-wheeler in the field in front of our house, and for some reason there were pairs of large posts scattered throughout it, with spiderwebs in between. Some giant spiders started running out of the woods and chasing us (and usually I'm scared of spiders, but not in the dream for some reason) and my brother got knocked off by a spider web. So I turned around and fought of the spider, and we ran away. Then the dream changed and I was in an old-timey carnival in the middle of nowhere, and I started wandering around. Suddenly, I found this game booth with some shelves in it, and I then turned into a foot-tall person with a giant, red, cone-shaped hat on my head, and I was in the booth on the shelves. Then Yu-Gi-Oh came and the object of the game was to hit me with random objects to be thrown, so he tried, but he was awful. So I started laughing and making fun of him, and he started crying and then he melted. lol Also, I had a lucid dream where I was watching the next Harry Potter movie, but realized it wasn't really the movie because they were in potions class (no class in the seventh book) and I asked my friend if this was really the movie, and she didn't know. So I realized I was dreaming. (I was kind of in the world yet watching the movie at the same time). But suddenly, everyone got angry at me because I realized this wasn't really the movie, so they started chasing me (these are HP characters, remember) and casting spells at me. I ran out of the building and decided to fly away, but there weren't any brooms in sight. This guy came up the steps with a giant orange plastic snake, so I decided that would work, and I stole it and rode it away and flew for as long as I could till I woke up. Lately, my dreams haven't been as fantasy-related...though I still get them sometimes. I think since I've been stressing over school and stuff, my dreams I can barely remember half the time. But I did have a dream last night that was more sci-fi. I was basically in the future, where the government found this new disease and forced everyone to get vaccinations but I refused to get it somehow. The shot made everyone mindless-robots, and I was all alone, and I figured out that the government wanted to take over the world by enslaving our country first to be obediant. Then I went off, to fight the government. I've also had a dream where I was with Sam and Dean from Supernatural, and I realized I was dreaming right at the point where we were hunting for a ghost or something, and Dean's like, "You can't hunt with us, you don't even know how to use a gun!" The ghost showed up and I held a shot gun up at the ghost and fired, since I figured I didn't want the ghost to kill us. Sam and Dean are both wide-eyed and Sam says, "I guess she does after all..." Re: Dreams OK I've had three dreams in the last 48 hours.The first was yesterday night (not last night, the night before)
I went to an amusement park and I was so excited cause the guy I like came with me and I wanted to show him the wooden roller coaster ( I had been there before in real life) and so we got on it and started going around and I realized the setting around the roller coaster (like the scenes that some places like to set up around them, like the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disneyland, had changed and it was actually really freaky, they had turned it into a horror ride (there was a skeleton, fully clothed still, stuck to a wheel that was turning in a pool) anyways, right after the skeleton and just before the epic 100 foot straight down drop, I woke up. And I realized I had never been to that park in real life!! I had had a dream about it before sometime last year!! There is no such thing as that park.... And then last night. Wow. There were two different dreams. I woke up between them. The first I was like a warrior or something, I don't remember much of what happened at the beginning, but eventually I defeated this creature that I was fighting with some other people and we realized we had lost someone, so we went looking for him. But instead of walking around and looking for him, I somehow switched places with him. So I was thrust right into the middle of this fight he was having with a huge hog like thing, but waay bigger and really freaky tusks, there were like 4 on each side of its mouth and this weird green vine stuff that wrapped around its snout. Anyways, I was stuck with it in this really small confined closet thing, it was like a pantry cause it had shelves with bags of dried food on either side of this walkway. So this hog was charging back and forth on this walkway and I had to keep getting out of its way and finally I dove between two of the shelves and it took a couple passes before it realized I wasn't in its sight and so I climbed on top of the shelf and it tried to follow me up but couldn't so it went charging back up the walkway and jumped up the other side of the shelf and charged across the top of it at me. I woke up just before it hit me. Then I fell asleep again and started another dream. It was way back in a really old time, like back in the Mayan's time, it was a really dark night, so everyone looked like black silloettes. There was some people attacking my people and forcing them to swim as far as they could out into the ocean, but they were firing flaming arrows into the water trying to hit them and for some reason the water was really hot, boiling, so they wouldn't make it that far and they would die and sink to the bottom. Wave after wave of these people were forced to swim. Me and another person my age (we were really young, like 12), and two older people managed to hide behind this island thing and no one discovered us for a long time, we just sat there watching. Finally one of the adults and the other kid were found and taken and forced to swim and just as the other adult was being taken he yelled at me to swim for all I was worth, to get away, so I did, I escaped with no incident and I just floated. The current drug me down the coast and I just floated and floated. It was like I floated for many many years cause as I floated I could see on the shore what was changing about the world. There were homesteads going up, then cities, then they turned into cities like what we have today. Finally I came ashore, but then it liked skipped ahead and I suddenly was living in a basement suite with three other people and living like I had always been in this timeline. There were some little things that happened, like conversations, but I'm not going to get into them, but the last conversation I had before I woke up was with one of my room mates, he said he had been watching a documentary about an ancient Mayan city that had been attacked by aliens and they were forced to swim in the boiling ocean and die and that one person had escaped by swimming along the coast and some people believed they were still alive today. I acted skeptical about the whole story, with the aliens and everything, but didn't tell him it was true and that person was me. Re: Dreams What do you mean by that? Dreams can be deep, but how can you tell? Dreams occure from your brain fireing randome signals. Not all dreams have meanings and the real meaning can be deeper than what you think. I'm not saying you don't, but not all dreams can be deep.

Re: Dreams I remember most of my dreams when I hold on to th most important parts of them. Like last night, it was as if I was watching a movie but then it switched to my pov. Mostly it was talking about this one guy who was married to another girl and was very unhappy. Suddenly I’m in the middle of it, I’m at this one cabin where the stars were everywhere in the sky (sooo pretty) and then a guy in my grade proposed to me out of nowhere. It was really odd, but kind of humorous because then it went on as if explaining the other guy’s bad luck like everytime he prepared for rain, it would be sunny and whenever he was ready for sunny weather it was raining. Just like his luck, he died. I found it funny though I didn’t like that he died…

Re: Dreams I had a weird dream last night... I was in some kind of really weird jail, part of it looked like some kind of concetration camp thingy then you could go inside this weird hall and beyond was a pool and beyond the pool was another hall where I had seen an open window... so I told the others and we went to escape... the water was really hard to swim in, for some reason... it felt like it was sucking you down... then we got past over there and we were at the window but we saw cameras around and in one other room there was a bathroom with yellow tape that said Do Not Cross... and so while we hesitated in going out some dude in black caught us and cut our hair...

I had a strange dream a few weeks ago. I was in a a large lake thing and their was this giant sea snake. It would eat you if it didn't like you. Anyway, one of my friends (I don't know who she was, but she was my friend in the dream) were trying to escape, and my brother appeared and started talking about a tower, the end of an age, second comming, then vnaished. I managed to escape the lake, and ran off. When I was in like a large building, I went to the past and oddly enough met myself in fifth grade lol. Then I got on SF and me and Silver were in the middle of this big PMing thing lol. After that I went back to where the pool thing was to meet my frind. She was marching with an army out against something and she wouldn't talk to me because she thought I ditched them. Re: Dreams I had a dream thats really only relivant to people who have played Shadow of the Colossus XD except whenever I dream everything smells, sounds, looks, and feels as real as it does when I'm awake *has vivid dreams* so it was a real life experence.
It started off with me (as Wander) riding Agro (Wander's horse) across the Forbidden Land (massive green field, I would actually love to live there) the first Colossus, all the while I actually felt the reason I was there on a personal level (that being, to ressurect Mono~whos part was played by my girlfriend XD) once we reached the cliff I jumped off Agro and climbed the cliff, thankfully I somewhat retained the knowlege of how to kill the thing.. (though my mind couldn't place why.. lol) so when I saw it I charged right for its legs, and managed to dodge its club when it swung at me (x.x though just the ground shaking, and the rush of air that fallowed, were enough to shake me off balance for a few moments) I dove onto its leg and stabbed it twice, and jumped higher as it fell (no cutscene obviously.. it just happened lol) and reached its head fairly quickly... @_@ then it started to thrash, so I held on for dear life to its fur and got slung all over the place (hurt.. but the real issue was the motion sickness/dizzyness of being swung around so violently) then finally managed to get a few good stabs in, it fell over and I got slung x.X and tried to run away only to be impaled on the shadows that shoot out of those things when they die, and saw the vision/dark tunnel with light at the end like you do in the game XD then woke up >.> there were no shadows standing next to me though thankfully... _________________  Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore, `Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven. Re: Dreams I had a dream once where my brother was dead. He was in his casket near his grave, my friends were with me, and when I was near his casket he came alive. I held him in my arms as he told me that something was coming and I would have to prepare for it, something dangerous (like a warning) and then he died again in my arms. It was really...scarring.

Re: Dreams I had a dream that I was standing on top of the wall at helm's deep and I was shooting evil wookies and droids with my bow and then my Social Studies teacher from sixth grade asked all the people there if they did their homework and killed them if they didn't. I ran back into teh palace to the armory to see if I could get more arrows because I was out, then she found me and I shot her. The blood went everywhere, and I slipped on it and whacked my head on the ground. Then the floor cracked and I fell into this place where everything was on fire. There was this evil, three human headed beast, claws as long as my kantanas and a body of a fat, slimy, grotesqe body and the wings of a raven. I got ready to fight it when it turned into my teacher again and shot me with a ball of fire. I dodged it then killed her a second time when I shot a huge ball of lightning and destroyed everything. I saw her head pop off and then I was flying and suddenly, I woke up. The akward part is that she was my favorite teacher, too.

Re: Dreams I had an interesting dream a few nights ago, or at least that's how long ago it felt like.
I dreamt I was resting on this platform, which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. I vaguely remember it being somewhere with dense trees, like a forest of some sort. Anyway, the deal was that the only place I felt comfort and could live was on the platform. If I moved, I'd be uncomfortable/in pain. It was as if the only way I could live in peace and comfort was lying down on that platform. I couldn't live any other way, I couldn't live without that platform. It was holding me up and keeping me safe and I felt like.... I couldn't ever get off. If I did, I just couldn't live. I felt safe but strangely trapped at the same time. The dream ended there, I don't remember anything after that. |

Re: Dreams I had a dream the other night that was really weird. I probably dreamed it because I watched 2012. This is what it was about: Me and my mom were living in the future, but it wasn't that great of a future. The was this zone where you're not supposed to go and women weren't liked that much. Me and my mom were looking for this woman who's named just happened to be Jack Starbright(you'll recognize her if you've read Alex Rider). We never found her. Then we went into the forbidden zone and we went through a village that was full of dead bodies. I was driving a topless car and I drove through a tunnel and came out at the edge of a cliff. I think that my mom and I were trying to escape the place where we were, because my got out of the car and told me to jump off the cliff into the lake below. For some reason it seemed like she pushed the car into the lake and dove after it. I was in the car that was falling into the lake and I somehow dove off the car while it was in midair and into the lake. After we hit the lake and swam to the surface, we climbed onto this rock in the middle of the water and then I woke up.

Re: Dreams I had a dream last night. There was alot that happened, can't remember it all, but here's what I remember.
I got married, can't remember to whom, but the ring felt really really heavy but when I looked at my hand it was just a really thing gold band, which was disappointing. That was one, here's the other: I went to a movie theatre with my family and some friends, it was really awesome, there was like a billion flights of steps to get to the top, and when we got to the top, the seats were actually slides in varying stages of steepness. Of course we went down the one that was straight down. Anyways, there was a movie going on on the wall as we were on the slides and it was really entertaining, cause it was Harry Potter and Twilight, all at the same time. the Wizards were trying to kill the vampires and werewolves lol and Gandalf (not Dumbledore, Gandalf for some reason) flying around on this HUMONGUS raven!!! Re: Dreams What is with me and these dreams about bats as pets???? It was almost 4 years ago that I had my first one (see first post in this topic), but last night I had another! His name was Stow Away this time, and we found him at a zoo that we were at, we took him home and he would hang from the hook that my lamp usually hangs from and he would nestle in my hand and sleep and eat peanut butter, and then I think my mom gave him to someone, but I missed him so much, I went and found the guy that took him, who then took me to the guy that he had given him to, who then gave him back because he had a bunch of other bats in his house already. When we left, I realized Stow Away was like 2 feet tall and had grown front legs, so he looked like a dragon. But he was to small to ride on. He was pretty awesome though.

Re: Dreams Wow Solembumer, that was one weird dream. I had one last night where I was Harry Potter and there was this cross between Dobby and Gollum. I had to climb all these stairs and say what floor a light was on so the lights on the stairs wouldn't go out. And then there was this girl with a mohawk and some pretty weird things that I would probably get banned for writing, but three words, 'human toilet seats.'

Just sayin. Last night I had a really messed up dream. I was driving home from work and I passed between two trees that were really close together, but on opposite sides of the road with three yellow milk crates at the basses. When I passed between them, suddenly I was frolicking to the north towards two farmhouses, which are actually there in real life, though the road was at a slightly different angle than it is in real life. Then I was like "What the hell am I doing, where'd my truck go??" and suddenly I was back on the main road, but not in my truck. Then I noticed the tree that was pretty much on the highway had grapefruits the size of watermelons hanging from it and I was like "I'm going to steal one!!" Which is dumb, cause I don't even like grapefruit, so I tried jumping and getting one right above me, but it was just out of my reach, so I went and grabbed one that was lower. As soon as I had it the farmer came out and was yelling at me, and so I ran away, but then came back cause I forgot my truck. The whole entire dream I felt like I was high and drunk at the same time lol which both of those = Really Giggly Stumbling Keever. Re: Dreams I knew this for a while, I was hoping you'd make the first move
Had another messed up dream on Friday night. I was with my bro and his girlfriend (but it didn't look like her) and we were planning something, but I can't remember the exact dialogue, anyways we were planning to kill someone and I was a little uncertain about it. My bro's GF transported us to where the person was and by then I was freaked out and didn't want to go in, so as soon as we appeared there I stayed laying on the ground, pretending I was unconscious. Theyy didn't buy it, so I had to follow them. When we got inside it was a theatre (like Broadway kinda theatre) and we ran down several flights of stairs to get close to the stage. I tripped on the last step and fell against the wall and my bro shot the actor (Jared Padalecki it turned out to be lol) and I covered my head and started screaming, just like everyone else was cause I was so freaked out and didn't want to be a part of it. My bro and his GF got arrested and started getting drug off and she was like "Keever, how could you do this to us?!" and so I held out my hands to be handcuffed too. The police guy that was still standing there was really confused, but he put some on me and took me up to where they had the other two sitting (still in the theatre) but put me a few rows ahead of them. One of the cops came over and started calling me Captain and I was like "uh, No, I'm not the Captain. Thats Captain. Captain Jack" and I turned and pointed at my bro, but now he was Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who/Torchwood. It was messed. _________________ █ ♥ █ They/them/their pronouns please █ ♥ █
