first off its Arya not aray, and Eragon does love arya he said it but for some reason she doesn't love him back.

Liar. Read Eldest 386-388, Arya so has a cruch on him.

*Takes deep beath* So, after reading that, I will explain it to you, because you may not pick up on it, but obvesiously, Arya it one of those "I will sacerfice for my contry" types, and she belives that Eragon is the last people for their world, and her excuse is she dosn't want to distract him from training and magic and such, but also she is really confused and upset, mainly because of her love that she had for that one elf dude whose name I've forgotten, but he die in the ambush set by Durza, so knowing Elf's understanding of time, it could by 100s of years before she's ready to have feelings like that for someone, and she dosn't want to throw herself into another relationship so soon. Not to mention, her relationship with her mom is strained, which propably isn't helping things. Also, most elf-human relationships end in sorrow, (read on in Eldest) as Eragon finds out. So, she wouldn't want another unhappy love ending for her. But, she does have feelings for him, which will make her unhappy to resist.
