*Sigh* at the moment I'm mostly just seriously upset about everything they're doing to Rory. It's completely unfair to treat him like that...and yet...I also love it in a weird way...it shakes things up a bit

Rory's the best character in this season and season five...he's just so normal and just...arg...There's something about him that I can't quite figure out. Call it over analysis, but...there's something there that's not adding up.

Oh yes, the Master! He was quite a brilliant character...loved his last regeneration the best, even if it was a bit creepy

Hey, what did everyone think of The Rebel Flesh? I've heard lots of people hate it, but I thought it was quite good (Although with Rory everything is quite good soo....) ^;^

Naw, he's come back from being cremated! I'm hoping he's managed to get a second regeneration cycle, although he was pretty tired in the end...But there's always a chance! *Grotesquely optimistic* Besides that, the writers know he's remembered, and they did say that whatever can be remembered can be brought back so....*Begs them*

Ew...*Twitch* The Rebel Flesh was just...ew....although lol at Rory saying "For lack of a better word....owwwwww." Haha, best ever!

No, see the Doctor can regenerate 13 times (The Doctor was joking when he said it was five-hundred and something times; it's been confirmed multiple times that it's just thirteen, with the Master especially) and right now he's the Eleventh Doctor, so he's got two more left because there is no way whatsoever that they're going to actually let him get killed and not regenerate. After those two (Hopefully Harry Lloyd will be one of them <3) then there's a very faint chance that he might get another thirteen, but it's not terribly likely, due to the notable absense of other timelords with second-cycle granting powers ^;^

Well I'm prolly gonna go on a maniacal fanfic-writing spree, as well as make too many graphics about it and blab nonstop about the poor Doctor (He's so tired....) and basically just act as if a close relative just passed away...it'll be a sad day, the very last episode will be.

However, in the meantime..things are getting curiouser and curiouser. I'm about ready to know who River Song is, actually, and what on Earth Moffat is doing having a River and a Pond. Waters of Mars is what created Eleven, so that there is three water-themes, and I'm wondering if there's a connection. The impossible astronaut may be the Ganger-Doctor...there's a theory going about the River is going to kill the Doctor, or might kill Rory. It's a pretty certain fact that Jenny (from the Doctor's Daughter) is going to return...and overall it's just a lot of wondering....hope we'll get at least a tidbit soon...

Post Re: Doctor Who
Nobody really knows yet, but the writers have been kind enough to give us some clues:

1. Her life is sort of in a weird pattern; her past is the Doctor's future, where as her future is his past.
2. We know that she will not die in this season, because she was in Silence in the Library, with Ten, and was Saved by Cal. Meaning, her future, the Doctor's past.
3. She called him "My love" in the season finale of season 5.
4. Quite recently, the two of them actually snogged in "Day of the Moon"

I'm thinking she might possibly be one of his future companions, since she did say they first met (For her) when she was "A young girl" and that at that point he knew everything about her.

Hmm...the end of Doctor Who....it would have to be particularly epic, seeing as how it'll be the last one ever. Hopefully 13 will be played by Harry Lloyd (Yes I'mma mention that every time) seeing as how they have thought of using him twice before, and only didn't because of the age gap. They'll probably bring back things that haven't been thought about for a long time..it'll have to be absolutely fantastic.

And I don't think there will be a 13th Doctor, or even a 12th... I mean, look how the season started this year. :?

Well, since DT has already been the Doctor, it's doubtful that they'll bring him back. But of course, i wouldn't even consider objecting! Plus, they tend to choose unknown actors for the Doctor and the part of the Doctor is what gets them recognition. Harry Lloyd fits that part pretty well.

*Facepalm* The Doctor's gotten out of worse scrapes than being killed before. There is no way in........er....the Satan Pit *Huzzah, great episode* that they're going to kill the series with...with...with this thing called a Matt Smith. No way. Ever. They're going to get him out of it somehow, because they know that there will be an uprising to end all uprisings if they end the series with him. I mean, his episodes are epic and all that (Because Rory is in them) but ohhhh no, he's nowhere near awesome enough to finish the series with. And *Coughs* he's not exactly pretty either, he looks like my bloody cousin for crying out loud...ew...

Hmm...maybe Joe Armstrong, and then Harry Lloyd? They're close enough in age, and Harry looks younger, so Joe could hold us off until number thirteen, which is when it would be a good time to bust out with the epic that is Harry.

Ooh, or Bradley James could play 12....*Purrs* Or the lufferly gent playing *Swoon* Sir Gawaaaaaine....Iwan something...that's his name....*Faints dead away*

Me and my brother have come up with two very impossible theories, one for Rory, and one for River. But they are so impossible that you lot do not
want to hear them XD

EEK! Waters of Mars was creepy! I mean..ew...so very drippy..although I did like that poor kid with the robot...^;^ That was the episode that "Made" Eleven. It was that moment that defined who the Doctor would regenerate into, or at least what decided the personality of him. The events that take place during the lifespan of each body the Doctor's in, they decide who he'll be when he regenerates, and oh my gosh...that episode was completely it ^;^

Hmm...if Smithy stays until 2013, and that's been confirmed, then what the nerf are they going to do for a season finale????

Oh my gosh, a friend came up with this amazing theory regarding the eye patch lady! You know she keeps popping up and saying things like "You're doing fine"? and how people keep saying "Breathe"? Well, that's because Amy is, literally, having her baby. She's quite possibly in a dream state which Rory and the Doctor are somehow physically connected to. Don't know how yet, but it's beyond possible. ^;^

Also I've got a theory on Rory...but I'm still working on it and will get back to you later ^;^

The only thing that I really don't like about the new season is that they now have this new second introductn at the beginning of the episode where Amy tells us about the doctor. I don't think it does the show any good since it makes it look bad, but obviously if they are trying to get new viewers that might help them to understand the show.

The last doctor was good, but smith brings a different dimension to the character that I have really been enjoying. I don't think they would have been able to take the series on this darker path with David.

THANK YOU ALEX! *Tackles you in a hug* Thank you very much for saying that about Amy's little intro thing! It totally made my day! And you're completely correct!

I just don't see why Amy is the only companion who gets her own special intro...it's not fair to the others, and there's nothing particularly special about her (Besides Rory *Giggle*) that means she should have an intro all to herself. It's dumb....

I dunno though, David Tennant's series was pretty dark there toward the end, but I think he quit because he knew he was sort of at his peak, and the new series does fit the current cast ever so well..

Still curious about Mr. Rory Williams and what's going on wif him. Starting to think that perhaps he's the one who kills the Doctor *le bombshell* Yep, given the last episode "The Almost People" and the direction it takes, it's really looking like Rory might just snap and actually kill the Doctor. Perhaps he's the one in "A Good Man Goes to War", maybe he's who they're talking about? Because with everything that's happened to him, it's possible. And maybe that's why River's in jail, because she kills him to stop him from killing the Doctor. He could've been a hero to many, we don't know what he did while in Rome, and depending on how this thing plays out, it could send him over the edge....

It's not River who kills the Doctor, because she'd remember doing it if it was her. Unless the Silent told her to, which is impossible because they've already gotten rid of the Silent so they won't be around to do it. Either way, the Doctor knows now (Ha ha Amy...) so he might very well protect himself. But still....it's getting interesting-er... 8)

Well it seems like he will the last doctor of the series, because he is now really dead. Well it is 200 years in is own future, but now they would be unable to explain a rejuneration unless he is able to do what david did with is cut arm in season 3 to prevent himself from changing shape.

As for Rory, I would definately be mad at the doctor for not telling me that Amy was not in fact Amy anymore. But the scanning part of the past couple of episode was quite good. I thought that the reason that he was unable to see if she was pregnant was because of an event that would prevent it from happening in the past. Never thought that it would have been because it was not actually her.

In that case don't mind what I have said. You must not have seen the latest episode, because this is a point that you would have been unable to miss. You will have to see 'the almost people' to understand what I was talking about.

Post Re: Doctor Who
*Sighs* Of course they're going to make it look like he really does die, but there is absolutely no way they're actually going to be stupid enough to end the series with the Eleventh Doctor. Obviously something is going to happen that will change the fact that that happens. Time can be re-written, they're always saying it. Matt Smith is not the last Doctor.

And he can't do what David Tennant did; Ten was able to do that because he was in the first few hours after regenerating, so when his hand was cut off, he was able to grow a new one, then somehow got the hand that had been cut off and kept it for no apparent reason, then when he was going to regenerate, he channeled the excess energy into that hand, which meant that when Donna touched it or whatever that woke up the energy inside of there and made a new Doctor, one that's not the Doctor, and who was mostly human ^;^

Something else I've noticed; I don't think that Rory is Rory, actually, because in The Impossible Astronaut, there's this bit. Rory goes with River to investigate something, and it's just the two of them. They go into a lockd room and River is looking around while Rory stands near the door. Rory sees a Silent and is going to tell River about it, but when he looks away he forgets about it. Then one of the Silent gets him and River yells "RORY!" but then it just goes to the Doctor and Amy, where Amy tells the Doctor that she's preggers and then shoots that poor kid, then the episode ends and the next one starts with them all being chased by the FBI...soooooo...like...what?

YAY! Isn't Rory epically hawt in Roman Armour? I'm sorry...but he is.... Even me mum squeed over him in the Roman gettup, and she never does that...but he's just so....*Purring happily while looking at the picture* XD And then later there's nerd!Rory in a super fantastically hawt business suit, epic glasses, and freaky hair...HUZZAH that guy is so totally awesome....*Dancing contentedly and ranting about Rory for the next ten or so years*

Sooo....who all was aware of the uberness that is Doctor Who books? Because you can them on Amazon for four dollars each, and that's with the shipping. They have graphic novels, guidebooks, Ten books, Eleven Books, Martha, Donna, Rose, Rory and Amy Williams, roleplay books, Audio books read by the lufferly David Tennant...sooo many Doctor Who books....it's utterly awesome..

And then there's the Doctor Who toys....those are like the wrongest things ever...

I've been waiting and waiting for someone to say something about the summer finale, but no dice so far, so I'll do the honors.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! :o That was an awesome episode, and I can't say that I'm surprised. I had a gut feeling that Amy's child was Rory's, but I was so hoping it was Doctor's. And like I said earlier (I did say didn't I? :? *goes to look*) River was the lil kiddo. :) I felt like slapping myself though.... Melody Pond, River Song... I should have seen it right away when the ep started, but turns out I was right anyway, so not too bothered by it.

And of course you guys realize what this means? She may have grown up in 1960's America, but she was raised on whatever planet that one Cleric chick was from. Why else would her name be River instead of Pond, and reversed besides? So my bet is that the Doctor went to said planet, not Earth.

Yeah, they're on every Saturday at Eight in U.S. time, on BBCA ^;^ Except that they did their summer finale like last week or two weeks ago...not sure exactly when....because it feels like forever....but still...*Sigh*

I was really happy for Rory that the kid is actually his, except that that meant that mum won the *Nevermindit'stoocreepytodisclose* debate we'd been having...*cough* and that baby was just too cute for words....I's named her Raindrop since she wasn't technically Melody or River XP

My other thoughts are only that Rory was def. hot in his Roman armour while crying and holding the kid....*Slowly melts*

*Waves the David Tennant fangirl sign* Tennant was my first Doctor, and will always be my Doctor lol, plus I find Matt's version to be ever so slightly playing the part of an ever so slightly nasty jerk-ish sort of person...also not fond of the way Amy dresses, or the suggestiveness of series six (I mean really, Amy's always in weird clothing, her last job was creepy, Matt was naked at least once, there's a ton of snogging, strange comments...the list goes on...) but his episodes are rather good...because Rory is in them....

A few, from this series.

Anyway what I meant was shows like Doctors, Coronation Street, Neighbours, do not have an end - it keeps on going on. While Doctor Who, you can come back and watch it after the series is finished - because it starts back up again with a new doctor.

Yeah, Matt Smith is awesome. :) *resists urge to harp on about his cuteness*

Have you seen the older eps of the new series? (Chris Eccleston-David Tennant) I've seen most of them, but for some reason they (BBCA) haven't shown The End of Time, the 2-parter at the end of which the tenth regenerates into the eleventh, during the interval. :( I tried watching it online, but nobody seems to have the first half.

And can somebody explain all the anti-Amy crud I found today? Geez, some of it was rather harsh. :? It's ridiculous.

*Coughs* Um...I don't like Amy Pond....I hate her guts, in fact, and want her dead. I think she's doing a great job, the actress anyways, but Amy herself? Ew. No thanks. She's horrible to poor Rory, never says 'thank you' and completely ignores the sacrifices he's made for her, is as arrogant as all get out, and is only vaguely nice when she thinks somebody died or thinks that she'd be in trouble otherwise. But then, that's just my opinion...

Well neither of them are helpless, unlike what a lot of people say about Amy. They have to remember, Rose was on there for what? 4 seasons? Amy's just now in her second, she's still getting her TARDIS-legs. :)

You should, although it's a mite creepy. Or maybe that's just 'cause I don't like... Spoilers.

*dies of anticipation* Fudge monkies! It's taking forever! Ah's well, at least I have Rookie Blue to tide me over tonight. :) Long live Andy Swarek!!! XD

Post Re: Doctor Who
Actually Rose only had two seasons; one with the Ninth Doctor, and one with Ten, then she got sucked into an alternate Whoniverse (Pete's world) with her mum and (sort of) father, as well as Mickey, then the Doctor had Martha and Donna and Rose came back for like...one episode...after that. So really, Amy has been around the same amount of time as Rose. *Sighs* I'd like her if she wasn't so horrid to Rory most of the time, because really the only time she's halfway nice to him is when he's just died. Again.

Ohhhhh sithlords on Kriff-Crack! Saph! *tackles you, shakes, hands you a TARDIS cookie* Something to think about and worry over! A friend of mine pointed out that, in the episode called "A Good Man Goes to War", when they were reciting the proverb thing, when they said "Demons run," the Doctor was running, and when they said, "When a good man goes to war," Rory was fighting. And they were implying that the Doctor is the bad guy, and have been doing it ever since one of the episodes with Ten! Davros, he implied that the Doctor is becoming something he doesn't want to be, and now again, River said basically the same thing. What if the Doctor is the demon? That makes Rory the Good Man. And River kills A Good Man. All that, plus the Silents are returning, and so is Ten. What does it all mean?

She's nice to him, just in that... dominating sort of way. Put it this way, most of the time, she's the one wearing the pants in the marriage. Other times, Rory has to put his foot down or trip her up to make her listen. It may not look it, but their relationship is very equal. :)

Really? It seemed like she was on there for so much longer... Maybe because she was that silent, invisible companion for the Martha and Donna seasons, lol :)

I take it you watched the video? *munches TARDIS cookie* :)

Ahhh, now you're making me have to go and watch the episode again! I want to see if that's true! And what do you mean Ten is returning!? :D

Post Re: Doctor Who
I's still don't like her for that though XD I think Rory should have left her a long time ago...

Yeah, it's because Ten was so One True Pairing with her that she never really went away, because Ten is more human than any other version so he didn't just move on and forget her until he regenerated. *Purrs*

It hasn't loaded yet, going to try again tonight XP

It is true! It came on telly a few minutes ago, and they do it at least twice with the Doctor Running and Rory fighting. Plus, and check this out if you don't mind possible spoilers;

It's been confirmed that, during the six episodes that are left, Rory is going to leave the Doctor. Amy and Rory have a massive falling out. And, even scarier, the Doctor will get married in the season finale.

Also, two other small things that I've noticed....first off, when Eleven realizes who River is in AGMGTW, he says "But you're alive...we t-t-t-t" and never finishes the word. What if he was trying to say, "But you're alive and we talked."? What if River is the TARDIS?

Also; Rory doesn't seem quite human; I think he may be a Timelord, or at least something that's not all the way human. I think he may, may, be the Master's Son. Because the Master was married for a bit, so what's to say he didn't have a child? It's creepy...but it's at least slightly possible, yeah?

Oh, and the IMDB page says that David is in the new episode ^;^

Post Re: Doctor Who
Lol, well, you're a die-hard Rory fan-girl, so I give up trying to make you feel better about their situation. :-P

Exactly :) Which, after watching all of these older eps during the break, makes me angry, 'cause his companions before went through a lot with him. I hate that he forgot (or doesn't really think about) them. I think it would be awesome if they did an episode with Eleven, Martha, Amy, and Rory. Obviously they can't do Donna, and if it was Rose, the worlds would be about to end again. XD

Lol, well it's worth it :)

I bet they fight about Amy wanting to raise River on the TARDIS. I mean, she is part Timelord, so it only makes sense that she should grow up in that environment. She has a lot to learn. :)

Ahahahahaa.... I think that was more him realizing he slept with his best friend's child, before they even knew they had a child. :)

I don't think Rory is the Master's child. When he stole the TARDIS and left the Doctor and Martha stranded at the end of the universe, Ten locked to controls. The only place the TARDIS could travel was between that year (2007 or 2008) and the end of the universe. In other words, the last two places the TARDIS landed. Rory's too old.

On the other hand, it's possible that he's another incarnation of the Master. Maybe he did that thing with the fob watch again and lost his memory. There are some issues with this theory as well, but I have a headache and I don't want to think too hard about it right now, lol :)

You mean the episode coming on tomorrow??? :D This is going to be awesome!!!!

The Master is one of my favorite characters!!!!

But anyway, I thought Rory was a plastic robot or something. "The Centurion"

It's interesting with what they're doing regarding the doctor... whether he's slipped with his attention to the consequences of his actions. And his seeming death many years into the future.

I liked the thought of amy and the doctor together :P the exuberance is kind of cute

Saph, ai, there is no hope for Amy XD I tried to stop hating her because Rory likes her...but...alas...

Oh guh...yes! They need an episode with everybody! I think they're bringing back Ten and Eight during the last few episodes of this season though...Maybe they'll surprise us and bring back a few companions. That would be, basically, the best ever...*Snrt* Especially if Martha met Eleven...that oughtta be brilliant...

Should I be afraid? *Watches* Um....that cat...is....terrifying! Why he do t'at? Guh...the kitten have the phonebox! *glares* Great...I'mma have nightmares now, Saph! That's bloody creepy! But cute...in a weird way....O.o

Well, yes, she ought to be exposed to Timelord things...but I don't think it's right to constantly let a child have the risk of being killed. I think she should be allowed to live on the TARDIS, but when she's older. No younger than thirteen, depending on how fast she matures, she ought to have a bit of common sense instilled in her first, otherwise it would be flatout bad parenting to raise a kid on the TARDIS. Sure, the Doctor would try to protect her, but that hasn't exactly worked out thus far.

Hmm...come to think of it, yes...but before that, maybe before the Master's attempt to take over the world or whatever he was doing....Rory can't be an incarnation of him though, because the Master has already died thirteen times...but Rory isn't all human, that much is certain.

Yes! Tonight is "Let's Kill Hitler" and it will be amazing!

Makky, Yer...River is annoying...

The Master owns all over everything; they shouldn't have killed him.

Oh, Rory was a plastic Robot (I want one....) but then the Whoniverse was rebooted and he's supposedly human again...not sure if he's completely human though.

What's happening with the Doctor is confusing...so confusing XD But it's one of the most interesting stories they've ever done, that's for sure ^;^

@Mak: I agree, Amy and The Doctor are cute together. :)

I definitely think they should bring the Master back. :) Maybe he is the one behind all of this. The Silence, Amy being kidnapped, Melody being kidnapped, etc...

@Curf: I think Martha would be Donna to Eleven's Ten. XD That's one thing I can't say about Amy. Sometimes she lets him get away with things that Donna would have smacked him upside the head for. "Oi! Watch it Spaceboy!"

Lol, I thought it was a little creepy to, but I was laughing so hard that it wasn't that bad. :) Did you read the comments? Some of those were pretty funny to. :)

When you put it that way, I'm with Rory. If they manage to rescue her before she's all grown up, I don't think she should be raised on the TARDIS. And 13 is a little young, no matter how mature. I'd think more like 15-16.

Didn't the head hauncho Timelords give him a new set of regenerations though? He can't have gone through all those already.

Steven Moffat said SPOILER that that really was the Doctor, not a copy or a clone, that died in the first ep. But he's also been quoted as saying that he delights in lying to fans to lead them on. So I don't know what to think anymore. XD

I'll reply properly later, but at the moment I'd just say that the new episode was a waste of time. Moffat completely dropped the ball, and it's up there with "Girl in the Fireplace" and "Love and Monsters" in the list of worst episodes ever....seriously, they shouldn't have bothered making it. Seriously disappointed...so I'm going to kill Rory to get my brain re-alligned.

Lol, it was a bit of a letdown, I'll admit. But it did have it's moments. :) And Girl in the Fireplace wasn't that bad, one of the greatest things about it was it had Beth from the show Moonlight. :D

And Moffat or somebody else said something about "hopefully it answers a few questions, and brings about a few more". I can't really remember what questions it answered, but I know there were some. *goes to watch ep again*

Post Re: Doctor Who
To me they were still the worst thing I've ever watched XD I didn't spot any questions being answered in Let's Kill Hitler though, nor any being asked besides what's the original question.

Which by the way, I think that the original question is; "Doctor who?" as in, not "What's the Doctor's Name" because that's Theta (Yer, Theta.) but who he is at the very core. When that question gets answered, then the Silence will fall.

Ands another thing from the Rory vault *Hugs him* I think Rory may be the actual Master, because in "The End of Time" all the Timelords besides the Doctor got sort of warped back to Gallifrey, but when the Whoniverse got rebooted, maybe not everything went back exactly the way it was. I think that, possibly, the Master became Rory and there's a fob watch floating around somewhere or another, and that the Doctor might know a bit about it, but not the full of what happened. For one thing, there's Rory's name; Rory Williams; it means "Red King,", "Famous King," and then "Desire for Protection".

And check out Amy's name; Amy means "Beloved", however, if one traces the origins of said name all the way to the start, it means, "Rival" so there's also a question of, how far exactly did Moffat take his plotting? Because if he actually paid attention to what the names mean when he was planning his series, then there's a good chance that it means something.

Then there's the fact that, in Let's Kill Hitler, Rory said he felt a banging in his head. That was meant to be a comical thing, in reaction to Mels (Who was totally pointless, by the way) and River/Melody, but remember the Master? He was always talking about the drums in his head, so I think that, possibly, the regeneration energy from River Song/Melody Pond may have woken up a bit of the inner Timelord. That may also be what Rory and Amy fight over, because if they all find out that he's the Master, basically the Doctor's old arch-nemesis, there may be a row because of it. And then, maybe River, now in love with the Doctor instead of trying to kill him, could kill Rory due to some provocation that relates to him being the Master, which would result in everyone who thinks the Doctor is the villain, believing that River killed a good man who wanted to destroy the Doctor, arresting River, which brings us to the fact that River herself believes he was a good man, easily ammended by the fact that she'd probably think Rory was a good man but the Master was not.

And yes, I am thoroughly obsessed with this theory.

In other news, apparently it's been confirmed that this is Smith's last season; it was in The Sun and everything- I'll dig up the article and post it later on. So we've got around four or five episodes before we find out if he regenerates or the series ends forever.

There was something else...but I totally forgot XD

I haven't heard a whisper about him leaving, but I have definitely heard that he's been confirmed for next season.

And Curf, I was definitely thinking about there maybe being a fob watch floating around out there, and now that you've pointed out the banging he felt in his head (which still could have been a joke) I'm more inclined to take it seriously. Now I really need to see EoT!!!!

 The ad for next week's episode proved it XD Sorry...'s just ironic...you said that and then....*Snort of laughter* But it's true! Maybe they're trying too hard?

Anyway, yesterday's episode actually managed to increase my hatred of Amy Pond. I didn't think it was possible to hate her anymore, but apparently it is. I hope that Rory leaves her soon...would actually be quite proud of him if he did. We all know which word it is that describes Amy's personality, and it's not a nice one. I mean, really. Rory waited Two-Thousand years for her, and he never even talks about it. Amy waited thirty-six years for the Doctor, and suddenly she hates everyone and her ego has gone up a million points. To her, the world revolves around her. And the only reason she said she loved Rory so much was to get the older version of herself to agree. She only expresses love for him when she needs something. She wanted to get rescued, right then, and knew that those words would inspire action. That doesn't mean she meant them. It's getting bloody annoying. Rory tries and tries and tries, but nothing is ever good enough for Amy bleeding Pond, and I hate it. It makes Doctor Who annoying to watch, having her around acting like she's special. It would be nice if she'd just die already...And yes, I already know that no one will agree, but honestly.

She does love him. The stuff she said isn't stuff you can make up on the spot. Their relationship is one of those special one's where they don't have to always tell each other they love each other, they already know. But you're strangely determined to hate her which makes no sense to me, so whatever. :)

If she ever gave me a reason not to hate her, I wouldn't hate her. I don't just go "Okay, I need to hate somebody; lemme hate Amy Pond", I saw her, I watched her for a little while, and she annoys me greatly, therefore dislike is born. I'm determined to hate anyone. In fact, the very fact that she's so unlikable to me makes watching Doctor Who very annoying. If Rory wasn't in it, I can assure you I would have stopped watching it a long time ago. I'd love to not hate Amy Pond, but so far that's impossible simply because to me she is a shallow, Mary-Sue'ish character, who only loves Rory when it's convenient for her. *shrugs* I'm not saying that anyone's an idiot for liking her, so I kind of think I'm allowed to not like her.

I don't know when you can see doctor who in the states and since some of you are from there I will try not to give too much away. In keeping with that all I'll say is that the god complex episode was overdue (in my opinion, now hopefully some other stories can be explored in full)

They're not gone for long, they'll be a part of whatever the solution is to the astronaut. *eyes curf in displeasure* And Matt Smith's Doctor is very good. I can smile and nod when you rant about Karen/Amy, but too many ppl give him a hard time.

Can I put in my two cents? I love Eleven... or at least I did.... and then something happened that makes me annoyed with him to no end. I have no idea what happened, but something did.... Chances are it was a cross between him being a warrior instead of a protector, River and how he's pretty much forgotten Rose, and... his reaction to the hologram thingie taking Rose's image.

Yes, Matt has made a wonderful Doctor, but the writer's did something to him that they really, really shouldn't have.

The way he reacted to the image of Rose? You mean him saying guilt? Well when you're the reason someone gets stuck in an alternate universe, I guess you're gonna feel guilty. :)

Although since Demon's Run he has been a little meaner than usual, for sure. Then again, that could be his guilt showing again. :? All in all his portrayal of the Doctor is as good as any of the other actors in that role.

gonna be real with you all

i can't wait until next saturday. silence will fall when the question is answered.

one of my favorite things about the doctor is that he's a multifaceted character. conflict about his role in the universe and the well-being of his companions etc. it makes sense why he's eccentric (personality +900 years) and why he's occasionally ruthless. he'd have to be, given what happened in the time lord war.

Time for me to shriek about the finale, so spoilers will abound! You have been warned!

Alright.... I want to kill whoever decided to have the Doctor and River marry..... I honestly really dislike River and have since I first met her.... but I have to admit that Amy being the Doctor's mother in law is a weird thought.... I love how they avoided the Doctor actually dying..... Perfectly plausible and just plain BRILLIANT! and the first question is BRILLIANT! Doctor who? I wonder if we'll ever find out the Doctor's name....

SPOILERS

Hahaha!! I knew that had to be the question! On the Doctor Who wiki, it says they've never said what his name is, so that had to be it. :) Who was it said earlier it was Theta? :?

Lol, I can't believe I didn't think of the robot thing, it was perfect! I was too hung up on the Flesh I guess... It kept me from thinking of the next obvious thing. And he thinks Amy and Rory believe he's dead. He should have known River wouldn't let her mom go through that. :) (Or maybe he did.)

Can't wait 'til the Christmas special, and then for the next season. :) *prepares to wait to buy the DVD's*

Oh my goodness... So I liked Doctor Who on Facebook and every now and then the Anglophenia blog pops up on it. I looked at it today, and I have to say, you guys MUST watch that first video. It's amazing. I've always loved that music, and these people nailed it. :)

Wait nvm... Found it on YouTube. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwy-Ftei ... r_embedded

It's awesome, watch it now!!! :)

I just skipped like 5 pages of posts, but I didn't want to lose this one, cause I kinda want to discuss it a bit, or at least point something out that you guys might want to think about, or possibly shoot down what I say cause it may not be right.

Here goes:
Is it possible that he only has ONE regeneration left? While he was in his 10th form, he was shot by the Dalek and was about to regenerate, but he stopped it, he put the regeneration glowy stuff into his severed hand in the jar. Would that still count as a regeneration since he let it go on long enough to heal himself?

Food for thought.

Also, I'm all caught up on the most recent episodes and I gotta say. I love it.

That's what a friend of mine thinks actually. It would be very interesting if he only has one regeneration left.... But that would mean we'd only have one more Doctor!

I have also heard that Matt Smith is thinking of leaving, so we might only have one more series with him. I guess we will find out soon enough if he whether he has one or two.
