I just got the first one a few days I go and I love it!

It's so much fun, traveling around all the huge enviroments. A rather interesting story as well, I like how the main character talks to himself.

Does anybody else know what I am talking about?

There's a couple sequels, but I hear the second one is bad, and the third one is pretty good. I have yet to try them though....

Cool! I just finished the first game (as of 20 minutes ago) and I was thinking "How could it get much better?" The end was great!

Although the part about everything going backwards after the hourglass shattered was pretty obvious.

Do the games have a connected story, or are they mostly stand alone?

No, I got this one cheap at the store, to try it out. Now I am going to hunt down the other ones, which will be harder than one might think. Gamecube is still my platform and the games aren't in a lot of places....

It is an absolutely amazing series. I love the gore later on in the game...the first one was good. But the executions later on are just mind blowing

How many of them are available for ps3?

I don't think any are. I think it's PS2, gamecube, and xbox exclusive.

They did make a remake for the wii and PSP though.

Does the Wii one use the motion sensing controls? That would be kind of hard to do with the way the games were set up.

At E3, they announced a new prince of persia. It looks VERY promising. I don't know if it will be out for the PS3...but a guy can hope.

At least you can hope, it doesn't make too much of a difference for me.

I played that new one Prince of Persia but we rented it and I never finished it.

i own the newest one for the PS3 and the Sands of Time series for the PS2, they are my absolute favorite games.

I have a PS2 so I should play the Sands of Time

yeah, in that mini-series inside the main series, the games are Sands Of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones

Well I've only played sands of time, but I really like it. ^.^ My only game system currently is the GC, so I'm limited in finding more of them.

oh, well that's to bad. I've got the sands of time 3 game series and the new one. They are the best games ever.

Have you tried looking them up on Gamestop.com, I usually can find whatever I'm looking for from there?

It looks kinda like it'll end up being sort of how the Eragon movie turned out, okay, but not great or that close to the original, plus it isn't exactly the Disney type. But I'd still like to see it.

it is supposed to be more of an off shoot of the games, Kinda of taking the idea and mixing it up alittle. do a google search on it, there is actually quite abit of stuff on it.

i just beat the newest PoP and I've got to say this. The ending blew me away I did not see it coming. And another thing, The Prince is one selfish person, but I'd probably do the same thing

I havent played any, but I'm interested in Prince of Persia (2008).
By the way, Ubisoft announced that the next Prince of Persia fame will return to the sands of time theme and will be called Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

It is supposed to come out around the same time as the movie (So like sometime in '10).

do you know if it is suppose to continue where the 2008 game left off? I hope so because they totally left me hanging from a cliff. I HAVE to know what happens.

I did some quick checking, the release of the info was just today! anyway it is suppose to connect the SoT trilogy to the movie that is coming out. I think that the Montreal Station is going to continue to work on the sequel to the 2008 game, but the others are working for this SoT installment. I liked them both so whatever happens, I'll be pleased

Would you recommend the newest game? I'm not interested in the SoT because there not on the current gen systems and I prefer the new ones art style.

yeah I'd recommend it. The visual effects are awesome on the game and being able to control Elika to a degree is pretty cool. But that are things I don't really like. for instance: how Elika saves you all the time, and you don't die, I'm not a huge fan of that. Also, the storyline was rather simple in the new one, not as complex as the others, though it was played out so that you got absorbed into the story. And the fighting 'minigames'(as I'll call them), I didn't like those. In times of need before, you could run from a fight, or change your position and attack techniques. Like in WW and TT I could do a devestating wall attack, but i could get hit while executing it. In the new one you can't do that first of all and your attacks, once starting a combo, are only deflected, no real damage done. But I like the fact that you can counter an attack instead of just block then attack.

In short, they about even each other out for good and bad.
