Yes. Well here it gets so hot during the summer and freezing in winter. I feel I am lucky I have only had one sun burn. We get so many bees. I have never been stung though. Also since their is so much Raidation ~sp~ lots of people get cancer.

But othr than that, Maine is so beautiful!! My favorite time of the year here is fall because all the trees are turing colors and its gorgeous! winter is another pretty season too, although it can get down to -15, -20 below which isn't that great but during those times you can sit inside w/your family and watch tv and have a fire going and drink hot cocoa!

I live in a small town just north of Houston, Texas. The only state that was once its own country.(in the US) I'm proud of my Texas. It may be hot, and humid. But the people are kind, caring, and wonderful.

Yeah... apparently. Heavy country accents. I only have a slight accent though. I've pretty much lived on the outskirts between the City and Country so I've got a pretty good balance. But I can't help but say "ain't" or "yall" sometimes.

I say "Yall" a lot because I don't know any other word for it! Yeah some of us are cowboys and cowgirls but we're mostly modernized.

In east Texas yeah, but not all over Texas. Where I live its hot, and humid but there are a lot of creeks and rivers; then again I don't live to far away from Galveston either. Which is why its so humid. Not deserty at all. Deserts have beautiful crisp, light feeling air in Texas. The air in the deserts tastes amazing, if you understand what I'm saying. Its absolutely wonderful. I love Texas. Can't you tell?

I think it's interesting how the southern accent is associated with americans, when we have many other accents that sound a lot stranger. I would say that though, being from VA...

Yeah. I know people from New York and they have very distinct accents or ways of speaking. I've gone to different places and everyone can tell that I'm from Texas, because of certain ways I say things and the words that I use.. Its so funny. I have to say the funniest accent in the US is definitely the Boston accent... hehe.
