Skills:- Magic- Ardyce is skilled in magic, though she often prefers to use more melee related skills. She has progressed under many of the strong magic teachers hired by her parents from the Empire. She can do basic things, along with advanced healing, and advanced attacks. She focuses on quick uses of magic rather than longer spells, simply because of her impatient nature.

Sense- Ardyce has the innate ability to sense several different things. She hasn’t discovered the limitations but she has noticed that she can easily tell what mood a person is, or the intentions of someone. This ranges from humans to even small animals such as rats. She will adapt her words and actions to help push along certain feelings. She, however, cannot influence these emotions out of a force of will.

Whirlwind- This is a skill pertaining to her use of Weaver. She will use charged magic to encompass the blade in an uncontrolled form, so it usually spirals off the blade in multiple areas (this makes the formed magic look like a whirlwind coming from the blade), making this a last resort attack. The magic will manifest in a physical form along the blade’s length, making it able to tear through many things, other than indestructible weapons or armor. This exhausts her, adding to the last resort factor. She generally cannot move for several hours after she uses this.

Striper- Ardyce actually picked up this skill from a nomadic assassin association that she stumbled upon in the empire. It entails the use of a series of color coded knives to initiate an attack. Usually this is to create a barrier for amplification purposes. She will flood magic along a series of interconnected knives to cause an attack to flood into the surrounding area. Usually these attacks are meant for a large area, due to the movement of enemies. Unless there is an instance of a surprise attack, this is generally foreseen as a sloppy, yet formidable attack.

Hair: - Dirty blond, about to her mid back, though she usually keeps it tied back, some of her bangs hang over her left eye to about her mid-cheek.

Eyes: - Gray-emerald green with a small, light hazel ring around the middle. They appear blue when she cries and dark green when she’s angry.

Home Village: - She was born in a small camp/village in the Spine, though her parents have been moving ever since her mother’s pregnancy.

Parents: - Verian (Mother, deceased) and Lrict (Father).

Siblings: - Younger brother- Bril, 17. Twin younger siblings: Viste, 16, brother. Lyla, 16, sister.

Character Personality: Ardyce is extremely brave and confident. She doesn’t fear things like many normal people do. She has always wanted to make a difference in the world, without being in the spotlight, so she doesn’t have many dreams. She just does what she wants. She is very spontaneous, and goes with what she feels. She is the kind of person who will attract people to her, because of her amiable nature. She has many friends, spreading throughout the continent because of her wanderings with her parents. She loves a good fight, and believes that she can’t lose to anyone. She is somewhat full of herself, and she is very stubborn. She won’t turn away from anything, once it’s been started. She is very loyal, and refuses to turn away from a friend. She will protect someone to the death, even if it causes her life. She adores her family and would do anything for them.

Character History: At the age of 12 Ardyce’s mother was killed. She had been playing in the forest outside of their camp with her younger siblings and Existiae. They had been staying with a small village in the forested area of the spine. The village was extremely small, made up of around 100 people including children and elderly. They had been traveling for a long time, since she was around 7, though it seemed as if they always came back to the Spine, as if it called to them.

Ardyce was the first to see the smoke, it billowed lightly out of the tree cover, barely visible. She pulled Existiae out of his hiding place, and gestured to the fire, sprinting before he siblings understood what had happened. After a minute she heard their footsteps running after her and Existiae. He had only been out of his egg for a year, and was still relatively small. He moved alongside her flying several feet above the ground, billowing out when they reached the small town, and their encampment. She found herself plowing into the small building that made up the pub, hearing commotion coming from there. She burst through the doors, letting it swing on its hinge into the darkened room. There were candles lit, yet some were dimmed, or completely out. She looked around, seeing the figure, her mother and father between it and the chief of the village. The chief had his arms around a small girl, one she recognized as the pub-masters daughter. She glanced around and saw the body, mangled as if a wild animal had attempted to eat him.

He mother’s sword was drawn, pointed toward the ground in a defensive manner, and her father held his huge battle axe in his hands, swinging it in circles to cover the area. Existiae stood next to her, crouched in a battle-ready stance, silent snarl stuck on his face. He exposed his maw, letting smoke filter between his pearly teeth, growling at the stranger.

The figure turned, setting its disgusting eyes on Ardyce, who glared into what seemed like orange-yellow eyes. They had slit pupils, like a cats, and she wondered whether this was a demon, appearing to take her soul. The figure chuckled in an unearthly tone, deep and whispering. “So is this your child Verian? She’s grown up quite a lot.” The figure strode toward her but her father jumped in front of Ardyce, “Stay away, Vexille.” The figure chuckled again, “Lrict, you never did understand.” The figure stepped forward, causing her father to push her back, “The two of you owe me. And the fact that you’re oldest is a dragon rider as well… it seems I’ve won a lot this time.” There was a cold laugh that emanated from his cowled face.

Ardyce felt the skin on her back stand on end, causing gooseflesh to appear. Her stomach was twisting in an uncomfortable manner, what did her parents owe? What had they done to cause this? She felt fear encase her, the last time she’d ever feel it. “I want your daughter, Verian. She is very much yours. The eyes, the hair, the stature.” He chuckled again, stepping closer. That was when her mother snapped. With a feral scream she pounced, her sword slashing through the figures shoulder to his hip, “Oh Verian. Now I have to kill you.” He dissipated, melding into the air, reappearing behind Ardyce’s mother. Within seconds it was over, a long black strip of metal stuck through her mother’s heart.

“Lrict, I will come for her one day. Do make sure she’s prepared.” With that, the figure known as Vexille dissipated back into the air. Never to be seen by Ardyce again. Since then her father had focused on protect his children, preparing them for the inevitable. She trained constantly, preparing for the eventual battle with Vexille.

Weapons: Weaver- The weaving sword, made by a wandering blacksmith her father met. This sword was made by twisting sections of metal around each other, then hammered flat into a misshapen blade. There are several different edges, due to the length of woven sections. It’s flat edge is around four and a half inches in width, with a max core of two inches that fan out in width to form the blades cutting edges. It’s around six feet in length, easily being seven to eight inches taller than her. Ardyce must use two hands to use it, and it takes a lot of skill to maneuver it around Existiae’s frame. Though, it’s uses as a defensive weapon make up for its difficulty in handling.

Stripers- These are a set of color-coded knives that she uses to initiate special attacks. The different colors pertain to different magical assaults. The color means that the weapon is augmented to withstand the damage that would be caused by the attack. Blue would stand for water, red for fire, green for an earth attack, yellow for a lightning attack, and purple for a sound amplifying attack. Usually she will have Existiae initiate the sound and fire attacks to conserve energy.

She carries around an assortment of small weapons such as a dagger, several small knives, and a long, thin rapier as well.

Likes: - Animals, boats, music, and many other things.

Dislikes: - Lizards, being hurt, sneezing.

Weakness / Fear: - She is afraid of lizards, this does not extend to dragons, or draconians. She knows the fear is irrational, however it can’t be helped.
Her biggest weakness is her stubbornness. She doesn’t know when to back down, which causes her to get into many fights.

Animal Companions: - There is a dog, heavy set, and sturdy looking that follows her. She found him when he was a puppy. She fed him scraps and he began following her. Ardyce decided that he was worth keeping around and named him Jackal. He is partially trained and will fight unless told not to .(Its basically just like a normal looking Rottweiler, lol those are my favorite kind of dogs so… I like using them :p)

Character's Physical Description: Ardyce is around five foot five, give or take an inch. Her hair is dirty blonde and reaches her shoulder blades. She is toned, but not too muscled, helping her retain a graceful womanly figure. She has been told many times in her life that she’s beautiful, but she could care less unless its coming from the right person. She has lightly tanned skin and wears black stained armor, a mix of thick leather, cloth and bits of metal.

Dreams for the Future: - She’s very spontaneous, and hasn’t kept up any real strict dreams.
Reason for Dreams: - She supposes that if she finds something, she’ll have a good reason for wanting that dream, such as for protecting people or something of the like.

Alignment/side: - She follows whoever is “good” or “just”.


Dragon Name: -Existiae

Age: - 247 years in his egg, 11 years outside of the egg (ages through RP’s)

Gender:- Male

Parents:-Vetre (father) and Vis (mother)

History: Ardyce discovered Existiae’s egg as she was traveling with her parents outside of the spine. The egg was sitting inside of a lake when she had dove down in its depths to catch a fish, however she saw the silvery-green glint through the water and picked the egg up. He instantly knew that he needed to hatch for her. When he hatched she was of course, inflicted with the gedway ignasia and their bond was instantly formed. He was matched perfectly in tune with Ardyce and they realized this over the seven years they’ve been bonded, they know each others feelings or thoughts usually without telling each other because their link is always open.

Personality: Existiae is serious and curious. He is constantly interested in things he doesn’t understand, and will do anything to try and understand them. However he is also serious and patient, the opposite of Ardyce more often than not. He does have his moments of mischief, however he tries to repress them. He is naturally very wise, but he still has to develop his wisdom. He’s not shy, and is usually overly blunt, despite his kindness.

Colour: - Existiae is a silvery-green, with patches of cold blue. He appears to be a swirling mass of colors. His spikes are a darker gray color that stands out from his scales.

Appearance: He is large for his age, and almost impossible to notice while in the air, due to his color. He blends well with water as well. He is muscled and defined, but also has incredible speed, similar to Ardyce’s. Their bond allows certain physical attributes to be shared. He gained her speed, she gained his power. He is imposing and yet looks gentle compared to some dragons.

Armour: (if any) – His scales are naturally sturdier than most dragons, and have no need for armor, though he does occasionally wear thin leather on his wings to protect the membranes.

Dreams for future: - He, like Ardyce, has no real dreams.
Reasons for dreams: - He also believes that if they were to acquire a dream, it would be to protect people.

Weakness / Fear: - Existiae fears the loss of Ardyce immensely, it’s the only thing he truly hides from her, because it makes him feel weak. He is strangely weak against magic attacks, so he has barriers cast on him to help repel those attacks.
