 Questions about the elvesHow large where the elven armies?
Where all the elves as good with a sword as Arya and Vanir or where they exceptional even for an elf? I ask these because if all elves where as fast and skilled as Arya and they had decently sized armies surely they could of obliterated the Empire with ease? Especially when combined with the Varden. Re: Questions about the elves It doesn't actually say in the books how large the actual army is. Pretty much all the elves went to fight though. It is also never specified what weapons every elf used. A lot would be naturally good with swords or good with them already but there are many other weapons out there and we can't be sure what they used. There are also a lot of elves who lived in the woods and everything and had modified bodies so many elves might not have used weapons at all.
Something else to consider is by that time Galby was pulling out all the tricks and modifying his armies with the kind that could barely be killed and who knows what else. Even the elves would have struggled with that. _________________ Saphi Laana Draerr Brilyn Nems Devitria Nemaera |

Re: Questions about the elves Not all elfs were equally gifted with the sword. For example, Wirda (or whatever was the name of that elf that died in Dras-Leona) stated that he was not very good with the sword. We also have Arya, that defeated Eragon in training many times and Eragon defeated Vanir. And there's also Islanzadi, who demonstrated the most amazing sword skills in the entire cycle. So, elfs have super-human abilities but they still need pratice to achieve perfection.
