Geddwyn Marko
Name: - Geddwyn Marko
Age:- 16
Gender: - male
Skills: At least 3 lines of elaboration for each skill type. He's good at several things. He can move without being seen or heard. He can see things that no one else can. He can hear over great distances. He can touch someone and know what they're thinking. He seems to never get hurt. He's excellent with a dagger. He sees things that have happened in the past, like blood on the ground where someone was killed, or something wrong that was done even hundreds of years ago. He spots details that no one else can, like the smallest little reason why something happened. He knows what people are thinking when he touches them because he can sense their aura. But he can be defeated quite easily. A shade can kill him and he is weak against magic. If his brother found out what he was he would die. He can receive flesh wounds, but he won't bleed, though they do still hurt him.
Race: - human, though he is a ghost
Hair: - so blond it's almost white with light streaks of black and grey.
Eyes: - cloudy blue with flecks of red. His eyes are almost clear.
Home Village: - (Can someone remind me where Galbatorix lives, I forgot. I'll write as soon as somone tells me, sorry)
Parents: - His father was a spy for a man who wanted to be king instead of Galbatorix. He ran in the circles as Galby, but was murdred before his king's plan could take effect. Geddwyn's mother was a tailor, but also a spy for the hidden king.
Siblings: - A sister named Zeta and a brother named Gidiyn
Character Personality: Quiet and reserved, he would rather follow than lead. He believes whatever he's told and only asks questions that he knows won't affect anyone. He only gets along with two people: Zeta, and a village girl named Bekka. He has an off-putting wolf-like dispossition. He will be fine one moment while talking to someone and suddenly panic and either get scared or angry with no warning. He would rather not been seen and tries to accept whatever happens. He doesn't really care about anything that has happened or will happen, only what is happening. He trusts freely and will do whatever a person tells him to, until he finds out that he actually can change some things. He doesn't like to have attention drwn to himself and really would be perfectly happy if no one knew him. He likes Bekka alot and would die (Again) for her. He has nothing, so he's willing to do whatever it takes for any good cause. He has a dyr sense of humor and is pretty witty when he wants to be. He can be friendly when forced. He tends to shy away from fighting and would rather run away or get out of it by fixing an opponant with his ghostly stare. He is pretty good at getting in and out of tight spots and is the farthest thing from claustrophobic. He hates heights and would rather dig a tunnel than climb a tree.
Character History: When Geddwyn was born his name was Marko Rowanstaff. The Rowanstaff family was rich and influentual in the community. Marko's brother, Gidiyn, found out one day that he was really only Marko's half brother. That same day he found out about his father's work and told Galbatorix about it. Galbatorix wanted him to prove his loyalty by murdering his father. Gidiyn did, and got it blamed on Marko. Marko was arrested and exicuted at a botched beheading. He had no idea that he was a ghost until he realized that he was in a graveyard. He accepted it philosophicly and went to work for Gidiyn. This continued until he was fifteen years old, then he found out about Gidiyn's treachery. He did nothing about it until he met a priest named Mark and his son, Geddwyn. They told him how to make sure that justice was done. Marko, having had no name since being killed, started using Geddwyn's name. Now he seeks revenge on his brother and pursues it tirelessly, yet patiently, waiting for just the right moment to strike. He knows revenge isn't the right path to take, but will take it anyway... Untill he finds his greater purpose. When he first returned as a ghost he was terribly confused. He mostlt stayed at his grave until he realized what had happened. When he went to work for his brother he tried to tell him who he really was, but som instinct told him not to. He told Gidiyn that he didn't what his name was. Then, when he met the priest, he took Geddwyn's name and told Gidiyn that he had suddenly remembered his own name. He wound up becoming friends with the real Geddwyn, though the friendship was put through a hard test when the real Geddwyn started falling in love with Zeta. Eventually Marko realized that Geddwyn would be good for his sister who (To his confusion) missed him horribly. Marko was soon tempted to tell Zeta and Bekka who he really was, and has yet to reach a desision about it.
Weapons: He carries a plain little dagger with no real design on it.
Likes: - He likes the sound of wolves howling. He likes Zeta and Bekka, but nothing else really.
Dislikes: - His brother.
Animal Companions: - a she-wolf named Calypso
Character's Physical Description: he's short and thin. His hair is practically white except some grey and black streaks. His eyes are cloudy, emotionless, and blue with flecks of red. He's not the strongest person in the world. He's pale, really pale. He has an awful scar on the back of his neck, and both wrists have cuts around them. His back is scarred as well, while his forhead bears a wolf shaped mark so small it can hardly be seen. He walks with a slight limp sometimes, but other times seems to glide over the ground.
Dreams for the Future: - either being alive again or going to heaven like any other saved person who trusts God's Son and obeys him. The reason that he didn't is that God has another plan for him.
Reason for Dreams: - who doesn't want to go heaven? If he's alive he can marry Bekka and become a lawer.
Alignment/side: - elves
Is he okay or do I need to change anything?

Re: Geddwyn Marko
First, you need to have the right lengths for Personality (12 lines) History (15) and Physical Description (5). Also, could you elaborate more on skills? Like what sorts of things does he see? And how does he know what a person is thinking by touching them?
Also, since he's a ghost, make sure he has a few weaknesses. Obviously he can't be killed, but make sure there are ways to either defeat him or defend against his attacks please.
That's all for me. Just fix those up and feel free to ask questions.

Re: Geddwyn Marko
4, 4, and 2. Also, thank you for adding more to the Skills and such. Once you add a bit more to these parts, I'll be able to accept.

Re: Geddwyn Marko
Okay, I added some more lines. I hope he's good now. I really like this site's RPG system, where you don't have to write a whole thing by yourself and can do stuff with other players.

Re: Geddwyn Marko
Well, we figure if you want to write a whole story about your character you can do it in the Fan-fic section. Some of us have gone that far, myself included. Anyway, the lengths look good to me.
A half-ghost character.... I suppose. Anyway, Galby lives in Uru-baen and I would appreciate it if you could avoid using specific names of religious characters, just so we don't end up in a religious debate. I don't mind if you say the character believes, but just don't say anything that hasn't already been said in the Eragon books.

Re: Geddwyn Marko
There's no chance of me getting banned for saying what I believe, is there? I have it in my profile, and in my poems, so I don't see why I can't say God in my charecter. It goes against my faith to edit Him out, so can I not take Him out of my charecter description? After all, aren't all spiritual beings called gods? I hope I didn't sound like I was being rude and I don't want to get banned, but I don't think saying God's name is going to cause a debate. By "I suppose" did you mean you accept?

Re: Geddwyn Marko
I think you mis-understand me, I just said take out the names of specific religions. I.E: Jesus.
I don't mind if you say God, or that your character believes, just don't make any specific reference to the Religion you're talking about.
