Poem I wrote

Phoenix Dragon New Peasant Joined: April 3rd, 2006, 5:20 am Posts: 4	Poem I wrote The trees sway in the wind Limbs touching the earth, almost as there pinned Animals scurry to their nest, all of them full of zest For the storm is coming, if they do not go inside, the life they have, shall be denied The winds howls, like a lonely wolf, who has just been caught in the hunters deadly trap For soon his heart beat shall be no more then a tap, after that, he will take the eternal nap The water speaks as it crashes against the jagged rocks in the river Listen, and it will call you, but be warned, for it is cold, and you shall shiver The river flows far, far indeed But the river take nothing, that it does not need The river is smart and wise, never needing shelter, for it is strong in size The river flows fast, as fast as the eagle flies, and there in no greater honor to fly like the eagle, so breath-taking, and fast But soon that will be, as everything shall be, nothing more then the past The animals, the trees, and the river, all have a mind But sadly as it is on this earth, here, we are all timed

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. You preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runneth over. surely goodness and mercy shall follow mee all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever.
