okay,i know i have given many theories.but i think that this might be the most likely.now cp hinted how he gave u many clues to the third dragon rider in eldest.well i have re read the book and i think i may have found the most likely theory.okay well when eragon travels to saphira when she and glader (sorry i dont have name of place being as i dont have a book on me right now.)but when he arives he finds a cracked green egg.well i think that brom is actually an elve.(i think brom is cause in eragon it says how he had silver hair.and thats what color hair that elves have.and also because of such a skilled mage user he was and how he was such a big friend of the elves.)but i think that when eragons mother escaped she brought the egg with her and it hatched at that places where dragons used to go and lay eggs.and i think she was there because she was broms lover and that after she left eragon at carvahall she went to the elves and was trained by oromis and that she is hiding with them now and that she will come along in book four at a battle when the elves and the varden join together in a battle.see i think that cp is trying to make people think that its gonna be roran or arya but i mean he seems like he makes many suprises for his readers and that he wouldnt make it as obvious as this.this is just a theory.it can be much more difficult then i think.opinions anybody?

But if the elves knew his mother was among them wouldn't they tell Eragon? That would make me mad if somebody did that to me. Brom isn't an elf because he couldn't use magic as well as Eragon. If he was, he would have been able to beat Eragon easily at sparring. And Murtagh said that his mother had died, which is Eragon's mom. AND, the other egg is still in Galbatorix's
grasp!

Yea im sorry but that is like the least likely possible outcome, but it would be kinda cool. But there are many flaws in your theory.....one brom wasn't elf, two his mother would have a tough time hiding for so long, and 3 the egg is still hidden

No posible way, Brom had a beard, and elves don't grow facial hair.

Ok, then why did Brom have such trouble with magic, Oromis did, but he had a didease or affliction of some sort, and he seemed to think that it was pretty rare. Why was Brom having trouble with magic?

easy voenth i agree that this theory is prolly untrue lol but we can never be certain about how rare the afliction was....maybe it was common around riders

That might explain how so many fell to Galby & his gang(lol), but I still think that he was a human, because it describes him, I think as like "rough" and to say that I mean that he was not an elf, because they were much fairer that humans.

but aain eles can shape themselves to be whatever they want, and if brom really needed to hide we never know he could have made himself look human

Oromis had the disease, but he had Glaedr. Brom didn't have the disease but he didn't have Saphira 1. And Brom probably couldn't practice magic as much as Oromis because he was in hiding.

yea and he said it was harder for him to reach the magice, maybe because he thought of saphir the first or maybe the loss of her conciussness made it hard for him to get the flow of energy

True, but I don't think so, I just believe that he was a human rider, therefrore nto as adept in magic as elves.

okay well scrap the brom being an elf.but what if that spell of his made everybody think that she died.u never know.it could be any elf that lives around there.it just doesnt seem very likely to me that it would be ayra because i mean cp is almost making it wayy to obvious.like he usually hides things and makes it seem like its one thing but it its really another.i dont know yet.i really didnt devise this theory i only built off of it.

That would be crazy if Galby had the first Saphira's eldunari....like then saphira could meet saphir and learn what brom was like, but im pretty sure saphir number on died young and brom probably didnt know about the eldunari yet

yea but i think he probibly went through all the training first so he knew about her heart of hearts.i think when morzan killed saphira 1 he took her heart of hearts.that would make a good story line to find out about broms past
