OOC: This rp is only for dragons, or evil charries who are dedicated to annihilating the dragon race. Those don't come in 'til later though. Just so anyone who reads this knows, I do have a plot for it, hence the title. I've decided to set it in Du Fells Nangoroth. You can find that on page 575 of Eldest. I'd really like for people to join and stay active, this could be a fun dragon rp.

IC: Du Fells Nangoroth... I've wanted to visit this place for a long time, thought a young silver dragoness, perched atop a high cliff in the mid-Hadarac. The high-red-cliffs stretched around her in a series of mesas, plateaus, and towering columns that some ancient river had long ago carved. It was Du Fells Nangoroth, the ancient site where dragons had once gone to mate, raise their young, and eventually to die. Phalynx had wanted to visit it, extremely curious to know more about her ancestors.

Phal wondered why the dragons did not still come here. Perhaps they had forgotten this place in their current time of near-extinction. Many dragons were hiding, and some, like the Royal Family, were too busy fighting evil and protecting Alagaesia to visit sites like these just for fun.

Phal was hoping that other dragons may show up. She had come during the dragons' ancestral mating season. Even though dragons didn't really need a specific "season" for mating, she knew it was more of a matter of ritual and ceremony. Things were not quite as bad lately. Galbatorix had not done much to threaten her kind in a few months now. Maybe there could be a brief time of happiness for her race. Even a day or two would be nice.

Phal sighed. She would probably just end up staying here a for a few days of rest before moving on. The other dragons were probably too busy to remember their ancestral times of celebration. Maybe I could send out a signal, Phal thought hopefully. It would be good for dragons to celebrate for a while. Maybe just seeing a lot of us together will give us hope for our future, she thought.

Phal raised her wide wings to their fullest extent above her head. She tilted her head back and suddenly a glow lit up the land for nearly a mile. Phal was breathing her special fire. Her fire looked like the light of a thousand silver stars, pure and bright. Phal knew that dragons wouldn't be able to physically see this, of course, so she extended her mind to all dragons she could find. For one brief moment she was in all corners of Alagaesia, sending the image of her starry flame to the others of her kind. Phal suddenly ceased her fire and her extension. She could only extend herself that far for a moment, like a supernova, before getting too tired to continue.

I hope the others got my message, Phal thought, Why can't dragons have a celebration? We deserve at least a little while too be happy and at peace. Phal had made sure to send her intentions to the other dragons as well as the image. They would know what she desired, and hopefully at least a few of them desired it too. Phal lay down on the clifftop. It was the highest cliff in Du Fells Nangoroth, and any dragons who decided to come would see her around it, her silver scales shining like a starry beacon.

Aeraldi flew towards the golden fire that lingered in the sky for far too long. He felt drawn to it somehow, almost like how a moth in attracted to a campfire. Aeraldi almost laughed at the analogy. As he drew closer he could see two large dragons, Faefnir and Bahamut, both conversing with each other and another being he couldn't see just yet. Aeraldi used his eye to find out who it was and gained an image of Phalynx.
Well, I suppose she was the one who called. Aeraldi thought.
It doesn't matter, I want to have my fight with Bahamut. He's fun. Aeraldi kept flying and soon enough he could hear what they were saying. Aeraldi butted in and said loudly,
If it's battle you want, then I'm right here! Face me. Aeraldi dived at the strange looking dragon extending his claws and forcing a small amount of strength he could into them, just enough to pierce the scales.
It's all I need.

OOC: Five people is enough so that we should have an order, right? I'd suggest Aeraldi, me, Daidrea, Star, Faefnir, but if you guys don't want an order I wouldn't care. It might be more organized though.

OOC: If that's the way you want it, it would be your go next Phal.

IC:Phal frowned as the two dragons continued their battle. What was it with them, especially Aeraldi? His dark form seemed more violent than usual around Bahamut. Phal guessed that he was probably excited to have a new competitor.

Suddenly, Phal saw a dark purple shape fly in and land gracefully on the cliffside near Faefnir. Hi, Star Gazer. I was hoping that you would arrive and find a peaceful scene, but with those two around I should have known it was impossible, she said, laughing slightly. Phal circled around the area once more before flying further away. She had decided to explore some of the stone canyons.

Aeraldi could feel his life draining, the darkness closing over his eyes. Memories of old came back to him, memories of him facing off against impossible odds and surviving. Then again, it did leave him more broken than before and none of the memories could have helped him in this situation.
I'm actually going to die! His panicked mind began.
Calm yourself, I said I would not let that happen even though you did start this.
We don't have much time left, I... can't feel much.
It won't end like this. Aeraldi thought. One more breath, you can manage it!
Aeraldi breathed in one more time and within them the fire swelled again, this time though Aeraldi breathed with him. A glimmer of the power that was once his could now finally reveal itseslf, both sides of Aeraldi working as one. Aeraldi's teeth lighted up with the fire of his true form and he breathed a fire that was far larger than could have been possible for one that small, it was even larger than the mighty Faefnir's. The fire surrounded Bahamut and spilled out of his mouth and engulfed his head. This would have been the fire if he had kept his original form which was over six hundred-thousand years old. Aeraldi knew nothing could handle the flame and he knew that in Bahamut's weakened state after his own flame would not be enough to hold him for any longer.

Normally, I would ask to join, like I usually do. But I want to post. I've got a large streak of inspiration going on and I want to use it. Sorry if I offend anyone by not asking.

IC:
Zeke lifted his head as he heard the call. He got to his feet and stretched his wings. Ella stood next to a tree. It's time. he said to her, and lifted his large bulk into the sky. It pained him to be purposely going away from Ella, but his heritage called to him, and he couldn't resist the temptation for some peace. His wing beats were steady, slow, and powerful. Zeke sniffed the air. Let's see, Faefnir, hm, a spilt personality dragon it seems, Phal, a dragon that stands on it's hind legs, and. . . now who could that be? I sense it's a black-purplish dragoness, nearly the size of Faefnir. he thought. Zeke landed near the main group. Faefnir, Phal, good to see you. Though I shouldn't say 'see'. he said, and chuckled, reffering to his blindness. He turned to the blackish purple dragoness. Forgive me, but I don't think we've met. My name is Zeke, dragon to Ella. he said, lowering his head. He swished his tail and shuffled his wings. Are those two always like that? he asked, fli-cking the end of his tail in the fire domes direction.

Ebony nuzzled Felecia. I'm sorry little one, this is dragon business. I must go alone. he said. She scratched behind his jaw,"Alright Eb, be safe." she said, and pulled away. She stepped back until she was next to her treehouse, a sad, forlorn look in her eyes. A pained expression crossed Ebony's face. Whenever he had to be seperated from Felecia, it was torture. A tear slid down her cheek, glittering like a diamond in the sun. He quickly turned away before he changed his mind and launched into the sky. He flew toward the source of the call he'd heard. Suddenly he saw a ruby red dragoness below him. Felena, my love, are you sure you want to go? he asked her, worried that she would feel completely out of place among other dragons who were doing something that she shouldn't have any part in. Eb, you worry to much. In this form, I'm as much of a dragon as you are. she said, and took his right paw in her own. They flew together exactly like that the whole way, not exactly sure where they were going. Soon they saw a group of dragons standing on a cliffside, a few of whom they recognized, including Zeke. They landed and folded their wings. Ebony lowered his head to Faefnir,"Faefnir Goldenscales, it seems Fate is determined to have us have adventures together." he said in the dragon tongue, and smiled.

Felena pressed her sides to Ebony's. Almost all the dragons there were bigger than her, except maybe for the black male dragon fighting inside the dome and Ebony. She turned to the purplish black dragoness and smiled uneasily. Hello, my name is Felena. she said, her voice not giving away her nervousness in the slightest.

OOC:
Do please remember that Felena can shift to any form she pleases, so long as she's seen it already.

OOC: I don't mind. Any dragon who wants to can join!

IC: Phalynx smiled and sent a brief mental greeting to each of the new arrivals. She then sunk lower and into the canyon itself. She could hear the sounds of the fighting from down here, but they seemed distant and she was unconcerned. The silvery dragoness floated even lower, and then ducked into a shallow dive. She pulled up gracefully a few feet above the river at the bottom of the canyon.

Phal drank some of the clear, rippling waters in flight, gliding so close to the surface that she could feel the cool spray. She then flapped twice to pull up and rose steadily, the hot air blowing her up. Phal held the thermals in her wings, rising until she was back up above the cliffs and near the others again.

Aeraldi breathed as much as he could, enjoying the air he could now breathe. I'll not underestimate him again. He thought to himself.
Can't run anymore. Aeraldi said, wary of the dome around him. Like I said, I will not let it end here.
How... Like me, actually. Aeraldi said back, getting ready again. He put more of his power towards his claws, turning them even darker than the black of the cave around them. He addressed Bahamut then,
I may be small here but push me too far and you'll know why I am feared.
