 Downtime Expected *COMPLETED*Hi guys
Over the winter holiday the forum will experience a couple of days of downtime for our second annual board maintenance. This time will be used to update our server to a newer operating system "my hosting company warned me in October that it would no longer be supported if I did not change it by March of 2008". SF will also be updated to the final release of phpBB which has been released a couple of days ago "We have been using release candidates ever since the major change in May". I have no idea how long this is going to take to update the server, but I will probably host it at my house during the server update so that it is still accessible. At least it will still be accessible, but it will probably be slower. Just to make it clear, SF is still running from it's normal server and hasn't changed yet. Louis Update: The server change and phpBB3 update has occurred with no problems and the forum is back online ready to server us for many more months. A problem may occur where your computer still has the address of it's old location in it's cacheand so you would see the message Quote: The dragons have now moved there there new homes. If you are still seeing this page you might have to use the link <<address>> the moment you are unable to use this link will mean that you are able to use the old one. PM me. Sorry about the inconvenient, this is the problem with having to change servers and still having a limited knowledge of this aspect of my server. Re: Downtime Expected Awesome man. I'm surprised I got an email from it (still havnt found how to delete my account lol). I thought it would have closed or at least changed the dragon to red (or added the red). Seems old now...anyways. Good luck with the next book man...maybe I can try coming back again...just under a new name haha..

Re: Downtime Expected SF has now been changed back to dune server, nothing should have been lost in the transfer.
