IGood news, I'll be back home tomorrow with access to my computer, so I won't have to type on an iPhone. Which means I'll be able to reply to whatever rp's it's my turn in.

This is interesting news:
I found out that the dog that plays Sirius Black in Prisoner of Azkaban, is in a shelter, up for adoption. It's strange that a dog that played such a famous role is without a home.

In other news, I think I'm going crazy from my pain medications.

I am really angry right now.

Apparently, Mother Nature must be mean this year. She decided to outright SKIP fall, and suddenly change it to freaking WINTER! I mean, two weeks ago it changed from 75 degrees to 40 overnight. And now it has been getting below freezing at night with random showers of snow for the past week. I mean, the very heart of winter is where I can tolerate the cold enough to enjoy the silent white snow days with several inches of snow, but not the bitter rainy cold that happens for the first month, or months counting the skipped season.

The worst thing is, the leaves have not changed color yet.

Y'all know that I absolutely hate cold weather, right?

Wow, that's eerie. It happened more on a stair like level for me. 100 for August, 75 for September, and 40 for October. And it's only been getting colder since, and has been recently snowing on and off. Weatherman says it will improve, and I know better. But if this doesn't improve, I'm afraid that we might hit subzero during the real winter months. My house isn't built quite for those temperatures.
*wraps up in four thick blankets*

But also, this year has been unusually wet, so possibly we will be seeing a lot of snowfall. The only good thing I like about winter is when a lot of snow falls, and the world becomes perfectly white, and silent. I might be seeing a lot of that soon.

Sorry to interrupt you're...um coversation. But I just had one of the scrarest moments of my life.

Okay this is how the story goes, I'm home by myself and it's three in the morning and I just drank an energydrink watched a couple of Scare-Tatics and put heavy metal rock on and as you may have guessed I pretty wigged out already,then I have this wonderful idea. I go to youtube and watch the ghost caught on tape clip(link below) you probaly know how this is going to go. Anyway I go to the video and I'm sitting there(and mind you I have already seen it a ton so I know what's going to happen.) Okay here's the part you've been waiting for. THE #$%*% GHOST $#*@%@%$& POPS UP!! And I nealy have a $%%@#%^#&$ heart-atack! I race away turn around and prepare to go into Hand-to-Extoplasam combat.



So half an hour later I sitting here telling you what happended with a boot jack next to me trying to work up the strenth to go into my dark room and turn off the music.

Heh, you think you have it easy? Try having an energy drink (especially when you've never had one before) and then listening to fast and energizing TSFH music! I was surprised my heart didn't die on me from how hard and fast it was pumping. It was beneficial in some way though. . . I got a lot of work done on my fanfiction, which I am rather slow at, although laughing like a total maniac while doing it.

But moral learned: Don't drink energy drinks unless absolutely necessary, and even then do not go on the internet and watch scary things at night while blaring heavy metal music.

On another note, this medication that I'm on for my nerve condition is giving me some of the weirdest and longest dreams. . . It takes me an hour at least to come out of the daze, but once I get up I instantly forget everything that happened. That combined with the other side effects that occur while I'm awake makes life not so enjoyable right now. . .

Also I got an MRI last Monday. For the first time in my life too. They thought that I'd get scared and claustrophobic but I thought it was rather cool and somewhat relaxing.

I just think it's the calm before the storm. . .

Inheritance is coming out soon. . . And I think that there will be too much activity after that.

I'm probably going to lock myself in my room with some food and some water, and not come out until I've read it. Then get another plate and read it again.

I'm confused, amazed, and speechless. I never even expected this award.

Heh, they said I got the award because in IF, a lot of people, and I mean A LOT fall away from the books soon after arriving. I've been the longest standing die-hard on the site, so they tell me. And I know more IC lore by heart than anyone else.

But in other Inheritance related news, I just got a leak from a guy who works at a book factory. He showed me the entire table of contents for Inheritance, and so far I am only one in a few who have seen it. And I want to share my thoughts on it because a few chapters stuck out.

BIG FREAKING SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

No Honor. No Glory. Just Blisters in Unfortunate Places is one heck of a long chapter title, but it could mean some serious business. There's a few chapter titles that hint of more confrontations between Eragon and Murtagh, and Murtagh and maybe even Thorn POVs. Flour into Fire could possibly be new weaponry from the dwarves. . .

Also, the battle in Dras-Leona is about 5-6 chapters long, which possibly could be started by the Helgrind Religion. There is a chapter heading that says City of Sorrows which could refer to Doru Araeba. The ordeal with the Rock of Kuthan is about 6, and very soon after that, the battle with Galbatorix is about 10 chapters long. There is even a chapter called Leave-Taking. . . Which is at the very end.

Oooh, this is getting exciting. It's a shame that me and a few others are the only ones that have seen the table of contents. . . But that kind of makes it cool.

Ooh, I hope I don't get in trouble. . . Shurtugal.com is hunting down anyone giving out spoilers on Inheritance. . . That leak I told you about just disappeared off of the site without a trace.

Heh, I just gave out illegal spoilers without knowing that I did. Who cares? The chapter titles actually makes it more exciting and anticipating. We only got a few days left anyways.

The final book. It's been what, five or six years since Eragon came out? Then they made that crap-tier movie just for the sake of screwing up a potentially awesome chance, now i blink and it's the end of the cycle. I'm really excited about this book.

*shifts eyes*

I'm going to see if I can read it in one day, be the first one on SF to know what happens.

I bet I could beat you. . . I'm just as rabid for it as anyone else, if not, more. I am officially the biggest Inheritance Cycle fan anywhere, after all.

But on the day Inheritance comes out, I might not even touch the computer at all. When I read, I like to read fast if I want to get through it, or slow if I want to enjoy it, so I probably will be savoring the book. Also, I feel that the internet will be ablaze with activity, (and spoilers) and I really don't do well in crowds. IRL or Online. . .

I doubt you could, I read pretty quickly, 100-150 pages an hour.

Eh, then I guess not. I tend more to be 90-110 pages per hour. But like I said before, reading fast sometimes isn't the best thing. You tend to skip a few things, so I'm going to read at a more casual pace to savor and experience every moment.

What do you guys think the first thing you'll do upon finishing the book will be?

Depends all on the ending. If it's a really good ending, happy or tragic. If it's okay. If it's a really sad ending. If they left out something on purpose to confuse the reader and leave a tense air at the end. If it's not that good. And for if CP had copied any ideas for my fanfiction.

After that I might just read it again, then go rant about it in various forums including here for a few days. Then eventually attempt to complete my fanfiction with my ideas slightly changed.

Depending on the ending, I'll probably do one of three things.

If it's good, I'll probably sit in awe for a bit thinking about it, and then go play video games.

If it's sad, I may cry, and then I'll go play video games.

If it's a terrible ending, I may just burn the book, and then I'll go and play video games.

I'll probably sigh in relief once it's over. Now that everything that all loose ends are now tied and the story is finished, leaving the rest for my imagination to grow on. But also, it's not really over because of certain plans that CP said he would eventually go on, such as a history of Alagaesia and maybe Brom's story.

I'm bidding you all farewell now. I'm going to bed, and once I get up I'm going straight to the bookstore to begin my reading marathon. It'll take me at least a day to finish, and I probably will wait a bit longer to calm down myself and wait for everyone here to calm down slightly before coming back.

I'll probably go to the store later today once I am done with my classes and data recording for a project. Will finally have a reason to wear my SF tshirt.

Yer, I's usually skip breakfast anyways, then eat lunch ands skip dinner, but lately it's been more three crackers here, a breakfast shake there, ands not much else besides...so now I's nearly got sick when I's tried to eat a bit a few minutes ago XD Gah, so annoying that eating is required.

Got the book before work (about 330 p.m. Eastern U.S. time) and just cracked it open a couple hours ago. I'm not even 100 pages in and this book already has me grinning ear to ear. Four times I've fallen in love with this saga. Three times, I've remembered why I loved this saga so much. I can't wait to see how it all plays out. So many loose ends...and Paolini seems to be doing his best to throw even more loose ends in before he finishes things, it seems.

Paolini is truly an inspirational writer, let's just leave it at that.

Darn.. I'm going to be the third to be done... getting pretty close to being done...

After reading the book pretty much nonstop over two days. . . (It took me longer than expected to read) I have a few impressions and opinions. (Don't worry; I won't spoil anything)

First of all, CP has definitely improved on his grasp of vocabulary and grammar. . . Even though I spotted a few typos and errors that should soon be fixed in later editions. I especially liked the summaries of Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr because it was written like an ancient scripture/story.

Second, the mood was much more grim than I expected. I at first expected it to be a bit more dramatic or extreme in some points, but rather it felt depressing and steady. (But it was still a very good read. . . Just the general feeling of the book was dark)

And last, after reading a bunch of fanfictions on another site, including writing one of my own, I feel that the story used a lot of those ideas to base his story off of. I at least found several things that I was going to use in my fanfic, albeit a bit watered down and twisted. (And don't get me started on the name of the Green Dragon, because my prediction and the actual name sound so similar, it scared me out of my wits!) But at the same time, he did multiple things that were pretty original, ESPECIALLY the ending. I'm not going to spoil it, but it was truly an unexpected turn that left me in a daze.

The writing style was definitely different than any off the previous books, that I did notice. It had a sense of age to the words, as if it really was an older time. The only problem is that the writing style was inconsistent with the previous books, which almost made it seem as if it was from another author.

He does have a writing style similar to mine though, in the sense that he likes to add an edge to every dull moment, but he keeps it pretty watered down; he doesn't really go to the most extreme possibilities. That was pretty much my main disappointment with the book, was that there wasn't as much fluctuation in the emotion; not as many dramatic ups and downs in the mood and action of the story. It was more constant and dull, and even with the battles, the rise and fall of mood and action was insignificant.

I for one could see so much evil potential with Elva, but she seemed very out of character in this story and was pretty much of little use until the end. Especially since how she acted when Eragon freed her in Brisingr. Also, the climax wasn't as good as I hoped. I at least wanted a long, drawn out battle and not the rather quick end for the king.

So in terms of emotional description, plot twists, storyline, and writing style, Inheritance takes the cake. But on terms of character development, physical description, and use of action, Inheritance lies below Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr.

Right now, though, I still can't shake the eerie feeling that CP has been in my mind. . . The Green Dragon's name is so similar to my own prediction of what it would be, and along with that, many other elements of the book, including the book's title, were predicted in my mind long before the book was released. I think I better learn how to guard my mind.

Still haven't finished yet, unfotunatly school comes before book, and have only been reading for about 4 hours, and on pg 350.
