I like these books because well I mean whats not to like
It's about a boy who knows nothing about anything especially love, like me

Reading the books right now and quite enjoy them. Little hard to follow since you get little clues piece by piece. You never know what will happen next though!

I haven't read these books, but I have heard they are good. My friend said I should try them. I think I will, since i haven't started a new series in a while!

This book is filled with jam-packed action! Well, almost. a few parts are a little dreary, but then again, he isn't the son of a god for no reason. Being the son of Poseidon is an important part in the first book, and it will be through the rest of the series. The titles are:

i read 3 of these books and it's my favorite seires even if the main person is a moron but the how it is with all my favorite seires!!

ya, i have read the whole series and theyre AWESOME!!!!!!
i havnt seen the trailer or the movie if its out coz its not shown in my country yet!
theyre an awesome series though and predictable and unpredictable at the same time!

If they're coming out with a movie, I sooooooo want to see it. Those were some of the best books I've ever read, and I hope that they don't mess up this one, or I will completely freak out.

eragon or percy? Eragon is just young and naive, while percy has a medical condition called dyslexia and I think he has adhd too. I can't remember off the top of my head, but yeah.

i still think percy is an idiot but not as big of one as gregor in the underland series

I thought it's coming out sooner than I thought originally. i guess you hear about movies just after they finish filming the final scene of it or something.

in percy jackson there was heaps of outstanding bits, one of my favourite bits was that bit where he makes a hurricane around himself when hes battling that fiery light monster, that was cool, lol

I hope they add it to the movie(s) if they make more than one, like when they made eragon and didn't get enough money to make a second because it sucked. If someone didn't read the book, I'd say that the effects were really good.

yeah, that was stink that they couldnt make a second eragon movie, but if they make all the percy jackson movies, i hope that they come out in my country too, not just america.

Anyway, when I first saw the cover for the book, I was like, yeah, okay. Looks cool. Started reading it, Finished the book at one o' clock in the morning, almost screaming to read the next book. (no exaggeration. I was in trouble for staying up late anyway) but when I saw the previews I did the same thing, except in my head. "I just whispered to my parents i have to see it! I have to see it!" It looks great and if they screw it up, they'll have someone to answer to. *cracks knuckles*

hey, i saw a trailer on tv and percy jackson 1, the lightning theif, is in cinemas in my country on february 11, but i dont know whether hes 12 or not, it was hard to tell. when i see the movie, ill tell you guys if you havent seen it

yeah, my familys not interested in it either, but i have one friend who would want to see it, so thats my only hope.

I forgot what book it was, but he made this major tower of water and was about to throw it at the gothic girl, the daughter of ares... Clarissa!! but he didn't. That was sad. It would have been awsome to see her get pummled by it.

Yeah, but Percy was the one that was chosen and the completer of the Prophecies. He was the one chosen. i dont know if the gods would have allowed more than one, and what about he rest of his friends, his mother, and his stepfather?

yeah, he didnt just refuse immortality coz of annabeth, although that was a big part of it, he was also thinking of his family too,

I said that, right? Anyway, I think the three biggest reasons were:

1.) He wanted to be with Annabeth
2.) He wanted to stay with his family
3.) He wanted nothing to do with Ares.

na, if you think about it though it does work out better
but i know what you mean, i wanted him to choose immortality too, at first, but as i thought about it, it works out better, i think

yeah, some books are stink like that, but one thing, percy wasnt completely normal, even for a half blood, he did choose to go into the river styx

yeah, that was stink, but he probably would have died either before the battle, when he was fighting off the rest of kronos's army, or if luke didnt regain his body for that short time.

Remember? That was the big decision that he had to make. Let Luke live and destroy the world, or let Luke die and save the world. What would you do if you faced the same crisis? Save your friend, or save the world?

I was pissed when they said that. It made me feel like they were degrading him. The prophecies always had something about him in them, so they couldn't deny him the right.
