It doesn't directly say it. Your suppose to pick it up in all the clues they give you throughout books. IDK i never caught it...apparently the movie makers didn't either.

Just on another topic, Deathly Hallows movie will be split into two parts, each around two hours long.

I mean, really now, as much as I am thrilled that there will be three more Potter movies, I'm also a little peeved - The Harry Potter phenomenon has gone on much too long (as well as there's absolutely no basis to how the series gained such popularity in the first place). I think its nigh time that Harry stepped down from the High Seat and give other series a chance.

Hope HBP movie is good. I have high expectations for it. Order of the Phoenix was excellent.

No, I am not contradicting myself - I have two views on the topic. One, I argue positive, the other I argue negative.

Oh, but I cannot stop watching, or reading Harry. But I look at it from a critic's point-of-view and from a fan's point of view, and while the books and movies are marginally better than a lot of fantasy series, I still cannot pin-point how so many people could get enthralled with Potter. Children and adults alike. I mean selling 8 million copies on the first day of DH's release? Over 300 million copies sold ofthe series altogether? Wow, that's absolutely amazing. I mean, if we cut to the bones, the series isn't that original, although some of the single concepts are, but the only ones I can think of are Hogwarts and Harry with a scar on his head.

Anyway, on topic: I'm really looking forward to seeing the scenes with Voldemort as a boy, teenager, and when he applies for a job at Hogwarts. It should be portrayed really well.

I heard they were spliting Half Blood Prince into like two movies.....or something like that

i think they shouldnt split it unless its too long , and if they do have to split it i think they should release it together , becouse they said their going to draw out the release dates so that they can compete with twilight which they will never come close to doing!
