Lol, we have a Valero/Subway, Dollar General, and some little mom and pop stores, that's it. Out close to the interstate there's a really big gas station that has a McDonald's in it, but that's about it. I think our population is somewhere around 1400-1500, and we just recently built another elementary school, but we're still little bitty. (And I like it.)

yeah, alex rider books are awesome, im glad theyre making point blanc into a movie, i was afraid stormbreaker wasnt good enough for them to make the rest of the books into movies like eragon, that sucked, but anyway, alex rider books are awesome and you should so read them xD

That wouldn't be cool either. I dunno, I can see somethig happening to him that would cause him to 'break', but I can't make myself see that being how the story ends.

i think he-or a major charry- will reach theyre endurance point, possibly Jack. i think alex may also simply reach a point where he mentally cannot handle himself and what hes done anymore. aka, he'll break, and thus the "endurance point" will be reached.

i think it scares all of us, really. no offense intended.

yeah, that does solve alot of problems for everyone, but i agree with kvista, alot of people get more upset when the main character dies, especially if its a good book like eragon or alex rider

yeah, but still, i think its best if alex stays alive, because the original characters are always the best, if the main characters get replaced because everyone is used to the original ones and the same if they die, people are used to him and want the books to end in some better way than alex dying, but thats just my opinion.

Alex Rider book 8 was so cool, but I was sickly disappointed with AHs' choice of torture methods. They were in Africa! So many lovely method choices got passed over...and for what? Crocodiles? Urg...they could have used one method in particular that still involves crocs but not in the same way *Cackles manically and slowly vanishes down a hole* My brother went OCD once when we were talking about the eight book. He was like, murderously trying to prove that they did in fact say that they would "Ram a pole" you know the rest...*Sigh* boys...DX

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god... I just read on Wikia that there will actually be nine Alex Rider books and one more book about how Yassen became an assassin. Book 9 will be named Scorpia Rising. Horowitz has revealed several things about this book:

1. A character that has been in all the previous books will die.

2. You will see Smither's last gadget and find something out that you never knew about him.

3. You will see Alan Blunt in a completely new light.

4. The ending is fairly shocking and when you get there, you will be in no doubt that this is the last Alex Rider book.

I'm absolutely terrified of what might happen. Here are my thoughts on the things Horowitz has revealed:

1. My guess for who dies is either Alex or Jack.

2. My sister came to the same conclusion as I. Smithers is evil.

3. I'm not sure about this one, but I'm thinking that maybe something happened in Blunt's past that made him the way he is. Somebody close to him got killed maybe.

4. This is the one that terrifies me the most. There are only a few options that would make us know that this is the last Alex Rider book. One, Alex could die. Two, he could leave MI6 forever. Both of them I hate.

I think that Jack will die, that Alex's parents aren't really dead (think about it), that he won't get together with Sabina ( ), and that Blunt is definitely more than he seems... (I have a mucho crazy theory on that one and no way to prove it. It's more of a hunch.)

I don't think that Alex will die, I think it's more likely that he leaves MI6.

I don't think it could be that Alex goes crazy from killing somebody (unless it's somebody he trusted that he found out is evil), because he's already killed people on purpose. Don't y'all remember the guy in the Poison Dome from Crocodile Tears? He slit the guy's protective suit and kicked him onto a mucho poisonous plant. He wanted him dead.
