I think eragon will bring back oromis or brom from the dead to find his true name and he will kill galby. Du Weldenvarden will get burned or Ellesmera will get destroyed and the elves will leave to go back to were they came from. Eragon and Arya will fall in love. Arya will be the next rider. Eragon and Arya will leave with the elves. Roran and Katrina will rebuild Carvahall. I don't know what will happen to murtagh.

Magic wont bring anyone back from the dead, unless your talking about the rock of Kuathien, or something like that. (the vault of souls, i think.)

Yea magic cant bring back the dead but the vault of souls sound like a place of the dead. maybe its where riders go to if they die?
also i think book 4 will end in the elves homeland (not sure why but it kinda doesnt make sense to say a place with its name and not have it playing any part in the books.

*sigh* Bringing people back from the dead is impossible with magic! Brom said himself, that is was forbidden, because the user would die trying! Plus even if he can somehow find a way to bring people back from the dead, without killing himself in the process, he wouldn't be able to bring Brom back! He's encased in a diamond tome thanks to Saphira. And Oromis, he could've been cremated or something, but why would he bring Oromis back when he already has Glader's Eldurani? Also, finding one's true name is a journey that one must take by themselves, Brom and Oromis wouldn't help him.

True. Oromis already said that he wouldn't help Eragon find his name. Also, we don't know much about where the elves came from. I thought that they had originated in Alagaesia. I don't think that Arya will ever love Eragon like that, she has made it plain she doesn't.

The elves aren't native to Alagaesia they come from a land across the sea.

Still, they never mention anything about where they came from.

but maybe he will leave with them. For those who have watched LOTR, the return of the king, remember frodo left with the elves to sail to the west? Eragon might do the same, with saphira. Maybe the vision eragon saw was that there were dragons alive in the other land. Or maybe when angela said eragon would leave and never return, then maybe that means he dies, because he can't return if he's dead. That would be a horrible end to the book.

The elves also left for a reason and these books are not LOTR they are completely different. Islanzadi probably knows why and they probably would never go back unless Alagaesia was doomed.

First of all Eragon can't die! Remember Angela's fortune telling.
The place where the elves came from is the most likely place for Eragon to leave to. Where else can he go?

He can go to where the humans came from or any other land that is out there the chances of him making it to where the elves are is unlikely.

Maybe he will go to live with the elves and the humans together.

It's possible but I don't think the elves would leave unless forced to.

maybe. But I was thinking. What if they change the name of the land? Then technically it wont be alagaesia anymore, but the'd still live there. Maybe it was named Alagaesia by Galbatorix, or one of the older dragon riders and it became popular. Maybe Eragon will do the same.

Oromis explained that what Galby named was the Broddring Kingdom but I don't think it will change. Ilve heard Eragon has a vision of him on a boat or flying with another dragon but I have never read it. We know that it is for certain that he leaves.

Maybe he leaves with the last dragon, the last egg that galby has.

I don't think it will remain an egg. It would leave to many things unsolved and Eragon would be doomed unless Murtagh switches sides.

well, I meant that the egg hatches, and they leave with the dragon and the new rider. He will have to be their teacher for he truely is the last free dragon rider, for murtague is bound to galbatorix. Eragon can come and go as he pleases.

There is going to be final showdown between Galby and Eragon or the new rider so Murtagh probably won't stay bound forever.

I don't think so. If it was Galby and Murtagh or the other rider they would have Galby and Murtagh, who knows a lot more than Eragon and the hundreds of Eldunari.

maybe he will sneak into the place where the eldunari are being kept and befriend them, then use their joined powers to defeat galbatorix.

He can't sneak in to get the Eldunari, Eragon doesn't know enough magic to deflect the wards Galby put on them.

he has to get stronger somehow, though.

I'm sure he will but it will probably be at the very end.

I think that brom's friend, whose name I cant remember off the top of my head, but I think he'll help to get the last egg, but die in the process.

Yes, but it would be unlikely for him to go. After the first time Galby would place all kinds of wards on as many tunnels as he could find and wards on the egg. Jeod can't even do magic let alone break through wards.

well, maybe Glaedr will come out of his shell of silence and tell eragon how to do it.

you do have to keep in mind that he just lost his rider who he had been with for over 100 years, maybe more. Its tough losing someone like that, but yes, he does have to come out eventually.

Maybe Glaedr will have something important for them to know, something that they were forbidden to tell them before, like some kind of Prophecy or something.

well, prophecies can be interpreted differently, and maybe Glaedr has one that Oromis didn't tell him before.

yep im just wondering where he'll go after he leaves alagaesia. im thinking that they will win the war and change the name of alagaesia and the dragons come back and the elves come out of hiding and that qualifies it as a new land so if he leaves for just a little bit and when he comes back its technically a new land. that qualifies him as leaving alagaesia forever but im not sure this is just a theory

I'd say that is hands down a fact of his life. But if he can find a way to weasil out of it, then that would be awsome.
