I don't think it will be destroyed because the sound tracks for the Movie are awesome and CP helped write the screen play script, and I have faith that he will make it as good as he possibly can for his fans and viewers.

This is the best bit of news on the movie I've heard. With the HP movies I opted out to collect them as they are released for the sake of being a Harry Potter fan; but after I & II, they have either changed too many things, left out relevant info, and I absolutely HATE the new Dumbledore. My stomach churns each time I see him, so I rather stick to the audio and imagen Richard Harris is still alive.

With what I've found over the internet, Nasuada and Ajihad do not match my idea of what Christopher Poalini describes, but I am looking foward for the release of the movie.

Just to add some cheerful comments...
1. at least its not some silly anime
(no offence to those who like anime it just wouldn't have as good an effect?
2. from the website we know they are taking it seriously even if they aren't telling us anything about the actual film

Computer animation is awsome for movies because you can make fantasy look real. Kinda like that dragons are coming thing that was on animal planet.

i read in an interview with CP that he said he isn't really involved with the movie production, he just wrote the story... i hope he did help with the script though.

Unfortunely my older daughter is now into the Chronicles of Narnia after beating her around for ages to read them. It's not until she finishes it that she'll read Eragon and Eldest. Hopefully she has time come December to read the series. At least I got her son (8yrs old) interested in Eragon.

I'm also new but the newcomers page didnt appeal to me. I wanted to talk on this site cuz I am a big fan of Eragon, and Eldest (I read Eldest in 5 days cuz it was so exciting although Eragon in about half a year!). 3 questions!

1. What is the name of the third book? Will it also start with an "E" ("E"ragon, "E"ldest)? When will it come out? Can I get it in hardback (Need Eldest on hardback too guys! Help me out here please! Need to know where to get it in time for my birthday!)?

2. When will the movie of Eragon come out in cinemas in Australia? I wanted to enter that competition but it's open only to American (Why does it ALWAYS have to be America) citizens. Bummer!

And 3!. Will they be trying to squeeze all three books into the one movie once the third book is out or are they doing it like in Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and make the movie in seperate episodes?
Who are they going to be using to play Eragon and Arya? Also I had great idea! Use the people that they used in The Matrix Reloaded for those ghost guys, shave off their hair, and use them as the Twins in the Eragon movie !

Yeh I saw when it was going to come out in America but not Australia. They usually have the order of the new big movies going around the world like UK/America America/UK Maybe Australia and Most of Europe Then the rest of the countries. I tell you what tho, when it DOES come out in Australia probably around early 2007, I'll be the first one to see it in cinemas. Not only that but by then good trailers where you actually CAN see glimpses of Saphira will be out by then and those will fire me up 100x better than the KFC Zinger Burger! . Now about hardback Eldest, I couldn't find a single one in the major bookstores around melbourne but I managed to get 1 by borrowing it from a library. Hmmmm . THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR.....MR DETECTI.....Yes, very nice... . I'd keep it if I could but it's a library book so I gotta return it so yeh.... ..*sigh*. Mainly I use the book for the translations. Ill copy them on my PC for use later. Hope thats ok Paolini! .

In my experience the books are usually much better than the films and I can't see the film being better than the book but I'm still very much looking forward to seeing it.
