 my theory on why eragon leavesim thinking that eragon and arya marry but in some sorta way arya dies....but before she dies saphira and aryas dragon have another dragon....therefore the dragon flying ahead is saphiras decendent and the one crying on the beach would be eragon....as for him leaving i would say he is leaving to raise and train the new rider where nobody can harm him/her.....and the elves and dwarfs id say they would be going to keep harm from coming to eragon so he can train the new rider.....idk if its possible but just mabie.....soo yea
