I would agree with you perhaps if Nasuada (who is just as aware as to how important Eragon is) had not been surprised and had not said "Arya, no!" But she did which to me underscores the fact that this is not something Arya usually does. On top of everything else, there's just too many hiccups for me to consider it a mere coincidence.

c.p has built it up the relationship between arya and eragon like a weird love story the only thing left to do is either make it happily ever after or doom and gloom for everyone.

No, it's not natural, but remember in Eldest, is mentioned that there were elf-human couples. Eragon and Arya would both live on for a while. Rhunon has lived since the beginning of the Riders so Arya could live a while longer too. I think Arya does have feelings for Eragon but probably won't express them unless she's drunk which I highly doubt will happen.

I think also in Eldest, Oromis knew that Eragon and Arya had feelings for each other but he told Eragon that a union between them was impossible due to Eragon's youth, race, culture and responsibilities. Eragon later finds out that rider relationships for the most part ended terribly somehow. But their romance is supposed to be epic, however I think them forming a romantic union will cause problems.

Yes, but Eragon and Arya may be able to overcome their differneces. Arya could give Eragon her memories. Yes, I know that she refused in Eldest but what does that mean she won't refuse after Eragon defeats Galbatorix. (I say that because I believe that Eragon WILL defeat galby. You misunderstand me. I think they have been overcoming their differences ever since Eldest because they're not really opposites. What they first saw as differences were just superficial. Something they couldn't understand until they started talking to each other. Since their romance will be epic, I think it will thrive past the usual rider relationships and marriages that have failed in the past. Strong enough to outlast empires and the what not. What I mean by causing problems is that I don't think others will approve of them getting together.

I have the books, and I've read them so many times that I know about where they are located in the books. Ask me anything and I'll probably be able to tell you what page it's located on in the hardback edition of that specific book. Yeah......
