I just got bored and decided to right this. I'm not sure if it will be good though. If I do continue this some chapters will be about Equinox and others will be about Crimson.

Chapter 1: Born into Hatred.

The dragon felt a presence inside his egg. Finally after the long years of waiting the one chosen to be his rider had appeared. He was about to crack open his eggshell when he noticed a second presence. This one seemed darker and stronger then the first one. But oddly he felt that they were both worthy to be his rider. After about ten minuets the first presence vanished and the second one took over. Then he felt as if he was being pulled up wards. Am unknown energy was forcing him threw his eggshell. He tried to resist but the more he tried the stronger the force was on him. The shell scraped against his back and wings as he was being forced through it. It felt as if someone was shoving him through a mountain. His neck bent in an awkward direction he felt a snap as a spike on the back of his neck broke in two. Then finally he broke through his eggshell.

The first thing he saw when he entered the world were very dark and evil eyes. They seemed to pierce right trough him as if they were trying to take control of his body. A hand grabbed onto his tail and squeezed it as hard as it could. A violent pain erupted through the hatchlings body. He squawked in pain but the elf who was now his rider laughed as he passed the pain that should have been in him to his dragon. The dragon felt his greed scales burn they felt as if he was boiling alive and all he could see was his riders face historical with laughter and madness. He felt the elf's mind brush up against his and it was full of chaos and evil. But oddly he felt as if other minds were attached to it but they seemed to bow down to Crimson's mind. The dragon quickly pulled out of Crimsons mind with horror of what he just felt.
"So dragon did you like your introduction into the world?" the elf sneered. The dragon cringed at the voice that was of his rider. "Now let’s see I guess you need a name my pawns will start to think something is odd if my own dragon is called 'It' although that is the most suitable name for you. Hmm I'll call you Equinox Although I would prefer to name you with something so other people will no how worthless you are. NOW GET UP! Follow me you have work to do." the elf snapped.

Equinox starred at him. He didn't understand what he wanted but he knew one thing he had to get out of here. His rider’s voice put fear through him. He cringed as the force of the words blasted through his mind. All Equinox could do was attempt to shield Crimson from his mind. At his hesitation Crimson grabbed him and through him into a wall. He rose up shaking and his wing was bleeding badly. Crimson grabbed a rope and tide it around Equinox's neck. He tugged on it as hard as he could until he fell to the ground.
"Come!" shouted Crimson. Then he tugged on the rope dragging Equinox with him. To avoid the pain Equinox got up and started to follow his rider. He was hungry and started to squeak. He quickly learned not to do that when Crimson kicked him in the side with his boot. He tried to get into his riders mind but he stabbed at it and Equinox flinched with pain.

Crimson dragged him to a stone wall that was starting to be constructed. He grabbed a harness and tied it to Equinox.
"Listen you worthless pack mule put this stone on the wall and come back and if you don't you will answer to my sword."
Equinox didn't fully understand what Crimson meant but he saw other dragons going and putting stones on a wall so he did the same. He struggled to move the stone. If he was older he could have done it with ease but only a few hours old he struggled. He managed to climb to the top of the wall but he slipped. He plummeted to the ground and the stone smashed his leg. He heard cursing and Crimson stormed up to him. Then he saw once again the angry enraged eyes of a dark elf.

He heard laughter coming from the other dragons and elves and humans. He tried to get into their minds but for some reason they felt similar to Crimson's mind. His eyes filled with tears as the stone pressed down on his foot. Crimson blasted the rock off Equinox and picked him up. Equinox thought his injury would be healed but he was wrong. Crimson tied a rope around him and tossed him into a nearby river. He felt the current push him down and he bumped against rocks. He tried to fight it but he was too weak. Then he smashed into the side of a rock and all went black.

Chapter 2: Torture By Humans

Equinox's body went down stream, the only thing that kept him from drowning was hitting rocks and flying into the air before smacking back into the water. He had wounds all over his body but his leg was the worst. It was bent and contorted and dried blood caked his scales. His left eye was badly swollen from him crashing into a rock in the river. Eventually he washed up pm shore. Vouchers circled above him waiting for the last signs of life to leave his eyes. After a few minuets he started coughing up water. In the distance something moved that heard him cough. Five humans stepped out from the forest. They eyed the near dead dragon with hatred. One raised his sword ready to cleave off his head. The sword swung down until another human blocked.
"No, don't we have better things to do with the dragon. Don't kill it we shall let it suffer. After all we need revenge after a black dragon killed five of out people."
"Good point." the other human replied.
They called their dogs and they sniffed Equinox's smacking their lips to dine on his flesh. A third human kicked the dog showing it away from Equinox. They ripped the chain off the dogs and tied it to Equinox.
"The village should have a fun time with this. Something they can release all their anger on as long as they don't kill it." said the second human.
They all laughed and dragged Equinox behind them. They sang songs of victory and please and were shouting victory chants as if they just won a war or something really good happened.
"You know what we should give the dragon to the king. After all it will make his army more powerful to defeat the Varden. Those damn rebels." said the third human.
The fourth human shouted back to him "The king would be enraged with us after all, the beast is nearly dead."
They all went mad with laughter. Equinox began to stir. He felt the ground rub up beneath him. He woke up and was horrified. Tight chains were around him and three dogs stared greedily at him. He looked to see who his captures were and saw the five humans. But the fifth human stood farther away from the rest of the group as if he did not agree with what the other humans were doing.
"Hey look the beasts up, how much longer until we get to town the others won't appreciate us dragging in a conscious dragon." piped the first human.
"Don't worry its weak it probably couldn't kill anything right now." shouted the first human who delivered a good kicked into Equinox's side which made him go into the air then smack back into the ground. Tears come from his eyes as he tried to protect himself.
In the distance he saw a very blurry outline of a city. A wall and gates were around it and it appeared somewhat large. He feared what would happen once he arrived there. At only two days old he had begun to fear the rest of the world.

Poor thing. I hope they arn't all as horrible to him as that. Please continue dark dragon, your going good!

Some people treat him better but not by much. In a few chapters you will meet someone who doesn't hate him. Something will happen to that person or I should say those people who don't like them. I won't tell right now but if you blame someone for it blame Crimson.

Chapter 3: Metal, Bones, and Blood

As they closed in on the city Equinox saw more people coming up to them. He hoped someone would help him but none did. Some people through rocks and spat at him while others just kept yelling at him. A few people stood in the background doing nothing just watching as Equinox dealt with the horrific treatment he was given. He cried out for help. Tears flew from his eyes as he squawked for help but the people just laughed. A few people however walked away once he started squawking.
"Some one shut that thing up!" shouted the third human.
"Don't worry once we reach town square we can fit that thing with a muzzle. Can't wait to see what will happen maybe it will finally do as we say. Worthless dragon this should teach them for attacking us." replied the fourth human angrily.
As they neared the city the gates went up. The humans let the mob go through first and they went in last. The gate slammed shut after them tearing off a bit of Equinox's tail. He gained some courage to look around him. Almost everyone glared at him with hatred in their eyes. He could feel the distain melting off of them. He quickly looked back at the ground but the faces were still implanted in his eyes. He felt a hard tug on his chains as he was forced up a flight of stairs. He cringed as the steps sliced through his scales.
The five human shoved him in front of them. They raised their hands as the mob clapped as if they had killed of an entire clan urgals. As if they were heroes of the city. The second human grabbed Equinox and tied large, rusted, heavy chains to him. Then tied him to a pole. They picked up a one hundred pound weight and tied it to his injured foot.
The city he was in was large. Buildings were everywhere and it was as if the whole city came to view what had happened with an exception of about one hundred people. The mob cheered as Equinox was tied there in pain. The metal pole was soon stained red with Equinox's blood.
The mayor of the city went up to him and grabbed a sample of his blood. He was short, pudgy, and was very greedy, selfish, and rude person.
"Tonight," he shouted "we celebrate the fact that we finally had revenge against our enemy! Now I formally award our five heroes a plak of gold for their truly wonderful dead. But of course my gold will not be used they will get it from the second (he put much emphasis into that word) richest man in the city. And maybe once this beast gets larger we can give them its hide as a trophy." The mob laughed as he said this. Once they quieted down he continued. "Now people if anyone I repeat any one can vent their anger and frustration out on this dragon just do one thing don't kill it." the mob started to boo. He shouted NOW! WHO WANTS TO RELEASE THEIR ANGER ON THIS DRAGON!" The mob cheered as they rushed forward.
Equinox cringed at what they did to him. One human ran up to him with a huge bat and hit him over the head. Then all went black. It would be years before he regained consciousness. For the nest he years he would only waver in and out of consciousness.

I'm taking good notes of this. Faefnir will need to be aware of the past of his apprentice. Fantastic story, keep going.

Chapter 4: Ten Years Later

It took Equinox awhile but soon he was able to control coming in and out of consciousness. He would rather stay out of it but he knew it would be almost impossible if he put himself in a permanent state. Besides that would alone probably kill him. He looked much different then when he was a hatchling. He was larger but still small even for his age. Because he outgrew the pole he was tied to he was now chained to a wall.
Iron and steel bonds kept his legs to the wall along with his tail and wings. Around his mouth was a muzzle which was fireproof and blessed by magic. Because of this he has never brethed fire in his life. He wanted to but he couldn't break the muzzle. Dried blood was everywhere on him and so were many scares. He didn't resemble at all the green dragon he once was but more of a reddish, brownish, greenish dragon. His broken in half spike on his neck was finally starting to grow back after all these years.
He heard the door open to where he was imprisoned. He growled and prepared himself. He knew what was going to happen it was a daily occurrence of at least one person coming to injure him. A woman stepped in. She was about five foot five inches. She had red hair and blue eyes. Equinox was amazed at the fact though that she carried nothing to hit him with. He glared at her wondering what her plan was.
"Hello dragon. I know what you are expecting but I will not harm you I just came to say hi." she said.
Equinox remained silent not trusting her. He glared at her waiting for it to be harmed but she did nothing.
"I mean you no harm. My name is Jackie what is yours dragon."
Equinox but what to you want I am growing impatient. Hurry up and get it over with. Equinox said rudely.
"I'm not going to do anything Equinox. I do not agree with what the villagers are doing. I just moved here a few days ago."
If that is true then that’s a first. Equinox said still being rude.
"I came here because someone told about a place I can release my anger. They told me about a dragon. All I can say to you is that I am sorry for what there am doing."
You can't do anything about it its not your fault.
"I can't even imagine what has happened to you. Equinox. But please believe me. I don't know the ancient language but I am not lying."
Then get me out of here. Equinox demanded.
"If I could I would Equinox I must go I fear for your safety others are coming and they will think it is odd that I am not doing anything to you." replied Jackie.
Humph well then good by.
Jackie left and like she said a few minuets later others people came in. Give me your worst said Equinox lazily as he waited for them to start attacking him.
He waited as they slashed him with their swords as they said snide comments such as "Take this stupid dragon." "This is what you get for living and for being as worthless as you are."
After about a half hour they left. Equinox had new wounds on him. He really wished the mayor would deem him close to death so he could go without pain for a few days. Also he hasn't eaten for a few weeks. He was looking forward for his measly amount of water and the two squirrels they gave him.
The door opened again and Jackie walked in. "I'm sorry Equinox here this should be a decent meal for you." she said. Equinox was amazed when she and another person dragged in a large buck carcass and a hose which they continued to fill up a large bucked until Equinox was done drinking.
Thank you for that. Equinox said sounding surprised.
"No problem." replied the other human.
So you really do mean me know harm? asked Equinox.
"Yes we do." replied Jackie.

Equinox finished eating the remains of a deer he had hidden under his wing. It had been days since Jackie or the other humans that accompanied her had came. He was used to it though if they kept coming everyday people would get suspicious. The ground below him was still damp with water. It was a different site for Equinox who usually only saw blood and fecal materials there. He now actually resembled a dragon. All the dried blood was washed off and now only his green scales showed with some scares. He looked outside and saw five human children playing tag; he regretted that his childhood would be behind chains. He glared at them. Why did he have to be tied up like some criminal? He stared down at the wet floor. Ants and mice would scurry around him or on his claws. His leg still remained contorted and disfigured. It was a favorite place for humans to release their anger on him.
He saw a shadow approach the door and he grew tense but went relax when he saw it was Jackie. Where have you been? asked Equinox somewhat rudely.
"Nice to see you to." she replied to Equinox somewhat sarcastically. Even though Equinox knew she wouldn't harm him he was still slightly nervous. "Anyway I have a plan to tell you but first I have to check if anyone is nearby."
Couldn't you have done that before you came in here.
She ignored him and checked to see if anyone was near. She grabbed out what looked like a large piece of paper and examined it.
"All right Equinox how would you like to get out of this hell hole?" she asked.
Equinox starred at her stunned. He never expected that. He doubted if she was telling the truth but couldn't help feeling relieved. All right, but how I'm pretty sure that people would notice if I flew off... even if I can fly." Equinox replied.
"Don't worry I have it all figured out. The plan won't take place for a few days. Now before you complain I am waiting because my husband is coming and he and some of our friends will help you."
All right but whom is he? I don't think I've seen him.
"You haven't but I have told him about you. Now once we get the keys from the guards and we can escape by ourselves but I want you to fly away as soon as possible and head south east for a few hours we will catch up to you even if it takes a few days."
I think you're forgetting something what if I can't fly.
"Don't worry, we have that figured out. In total this city doesn't have too many guards. There is going to be about twenty people with me and the guards will be afraid when you escape. We will fight our way out of it."
Great, just what I need. replied Equinox sarcastically.

Crimson stood near the edge of the city.So, this is where Equinox is. he thought to himself. After he learned that his dragon had lived being thrown into the river he relentlessly hunted him. Now he finally found where that disgrace of a dragon was. Behind him he had ten possessed, battle ready elves along with fifty possessed humans.

Chapter 6: The wrath of Crimson

Crimson and his small army marched toward the city. Once they reached the gate the guards stopped them. "What do you want, and why are you in such a large group!" ordered the guard. Crimson had no time to talk he just stabbed the guard through the chest and blasted open the gate with magic.
"We're under attack!" shouted another guard but he was killed by one of the elves. Crimson and his force charged the city slaughtering anyone who went in their way. He marched toward the mayor’s house when a group of one hundred soldiers attacked him. He laughed and glared at them.
"Do you fools really think you can defeat me." shouted Crimson.
"Stand down, we have you outnumbered. If yoou do we will spare your lives." said one of the soldiers.
"As if I would be afraid of any of you inbreeds. Listen troops kill all of them I don't want a single soldier alive!" roared Crimson.
He and his troops clashed with the soldiers. Crimson blocked a blow from an enemy sword and stabbed the man through the chest. He ripped out his sword and struck him in the neck. He whipped around and stabbed a man through the back. A crack could be heard when he punctured the man's back bone.
"Tear off the skin!" he shouted in the ancient language and a man screamed in pain as every bit of skin on him was torn off. He fell to the ground and all that remained of him was his innards. Crimson's eyes gleamed in the delight of the carnage. He struck a man in the back of the head and crushed his scull. Laughing historically he ripped out a man[s stomach with his sword.
A soldier charged up behind him. He wiped around and countered the blow. The man sung down at his legs but Crimson blocked it with ease. The man slashed vertically att Crimsons chest but he blocked it and sliced off the man's arm and stabbed him through the chest with his own sword. Not before long all the soldiers were dead and Crimson had only a few of his pawns die.
He entered the mayor’s house and stormed upstairs. He pointed his sword at the mayor and barked "Tell me where the green dragon is."
"Wh...wh...why do you want to know?" stuttered the mayor.
"I SAID TELL ME!"
"He i..is in th...th... shack a few streets up."
Crimson gleamed an evil delight and ripped the mayors heart out with his sword.
"Listen up!" Crimson shouted at his pawns "Go find anyone who is friendly to the dragon if they are kill them and if they aren't spare them."
Not far away a man with blond hair heard what Crimson said. He hurried away and found the person he had to talk to.
"Jackie a man is here he wants to kill Equinox and anyone who is friendly to him."
"I know Robert do you really think I couldn't hear that fool shouting. We may have to abandon our plan." said Jackie.
"Why?" Robert demanded.
"Not just for our sake but for Equinox's. I can fee from him that he doesn't hate us like he acts like. He is just afraid if Crimson finds out about that I don't want to imagine the horrors he will put upon his own dragon." muttered Jackie.
"Your right but, we can't leave Equinox here forever, and how are you going to break it on him." said Robert.
"We will return in four years I have the key and once we get back I will weaken the locks its too dangerous to do it right now. But, I don't know what to say." replied Jackie who was close to tears.
Robert looked at his wife. He had never spoken to Equinox but he had seen him and felt sorry for the dragon. He always wanted to be a rider and was rorrostruck when he heard what Crimson did to Equinox. "You can blame it on me tell him that I said if you talk to him I would kill you. Then he won't thinks its your fault."
"Are you sure."
"Yes do it."
Jackie waited for a few hours until it was dark than went to see Equinox. When she went in she saw blood everywhere and he was badly inured.
Jackie... get out of here my rider will kill you if he finds out about you. Don't worry about me. said Equinox.
With tears in her eye she looked up at Equinox. She didn't want to leave him like this but knew it was in his best interest. "I'm sorry Equinox but I must go. I will never see you again."
What?! said Equinox.
"I don't want to but, but, my husband said that if I ever talk to you again he will kill me."
So you’re leaving me to die here. So it was just a trap you set up so I would get to be friends and you would abandon me here. Equinox roared.
"No it’s not like I just, I just oh Equinox please be safe I don't want to leave you." she cried.
Whatever, stupid human you made think I was going to get out of this living hell and you are leaving me.. fine go, get out of here I don't need you. Be gone. said Equinox.
Jackie left her face full of tears and muttered "Equinox I hope that nothing bad befalls you, please escape some day." Then she left. Tears fell from Equinox's eyes as he watched. They stung against his open wounds made by his irate rider. He stared at the doorway where his one and only friend had left him.

Chapter 7: Flight at Last

Equinox watched as people lined up in front of him carrying swords. He didn't say anything or do anything like he usually did when people came to hurt him. Even though it has been a few years Equinox was still saddened from being abandoned by his friend. Even him mind was weakened and he found it hard to stay conscious. He watched as the sword fell down onto his already opened wound sending flesh into the sky. It hurt so badly but he didn't flinch. He would never get used to it but knew that if he made any reaction they would hit him harder. Even though he grew much slower then most dragons, and was very small for his age the chains he was bound to dug deep into his scales. He stared at the floor that hasn't been clean in years. It smelled horribly but sometimes people would throw it onto his injuries.
After about an hour the last of the humans had left. He tried to go to sleep but was in too much pain. His wounds stung and his entire body hurt. Know tears came from him though, he was used to it. Besides every emotion had left him. He wasn't even angry at the humans he wasted it all. Now he just felt like nothing. Just a creature chained to a wall. He closed his eyes. Why me? he thought.
He eventually drifted to sleep. He saw a man walked up to someone. Behind the second man was a black dragon. Equinox saw them talk. He heard the second man say "You are strong Crimson very strong. You have even surpassed what I expected of you. Now if you want to join me there is a village that has a large copper dragon. I want to kill the dragon and recruit as many of the villagers as you can."
"Yes my lord." replied Crimson.

Jackie and Robert walked up to where they knew Equinox was. They made sure no one was nearby until they went in. Once they saw the sight of Equinox Jackie began to cry and Robert cursed.
"Should we clean up the fecal material first?" Robert asked.
"No, if we do he will know that we are here and everyone else will get suspicious. We should just loosen the chains around him." Jackie replied.
"Poor dragon I still don't see why we could take him with us. After all it will be better for him."
"It's too obvious and besides Equinox won't trust us. Let’s do it." Jackie replied.
Jackie and Robert walked up to Equinox. They loosened the chains that bonded him to the walls. They made sure not to take them off if they did harm would come to all three of them.
"All right lets go." said Jackie.
She and Robert looked back at Equinox. It would be the last time the two humans would lay eyes on the dragon. Jackie went back and hugged Equinox and Robert patted him on the side. They both left and returned to the inn they were sleeping at.
The next day Equinox woke up horrified by his dream. Did he really just witness his rider joining an army he couldn't tell who the other man was but he just knew that he was even more evil then Crimson. He looked outside and heard to people talking.
"... Jackie, Yeah I know something is odd with her and her husband. Both of them don't mind dragons and when she was here she never beet the dragoon, not even once."
"What, that just stupid." the other person said as if she had denied getting one million coins.
Equinox wondered if it was the same one. And if it was why does she not come and visited him. Emotions that came back were now surging into him, Happiness, angry, and delight all went inside him. He pulled on the chains binding him until they snapped. And he broke open the muzzle with his knew claws that haven't been off the ground since the day he was born. IT took him awhile to find his balance but he soon charged outside and roared. People in the area ran around in fear.
Equinox didn't know how but with a few flaps of his wings he was off the ground. The fist time in his life he had ever been in the air. Blood splattered the ground as people below him screamed. Then he saw Jackie walking toward an inn. Delighted he flew down toward her.
Jackie, what are you doing here? I thought you said you weren't coming back and guess what I escaped. he said happily.
Jackie tried as hard as she could to hide her pleasure. She knew this would probably happen so she had planned for this very occasion.
"Dragon, you are no longer part of my life. I have children and I will raise them to hate your kind. Now leave or I will get my husband to come and kill you." she said.
What? I though you would want to see me. I could kill him before he kills you. Please don't leave be. pleaded Equinox.
"Guards, the dragon is over here!" she shouted.
Equinox quickly flew off the ground as guards ran at him. He flew as fast as he could. When he flew over the walls archers fired at him. The arrows imbedded into his injuries and he winced in pain. He body was full of arrows and he knew that the humans could track him from the ground because of all his blood. He soon became too weak to fly. He plummeted toward the ground and crashed into a forest.

yep he has a fondness of getting in trouble lol. And Crimson just loves tormenting him so much.

I know, I know lol. Well you have to remember Crimson does not like Equinox and really wants him dead. Speaking of Crimson this next chapter will be about a battle he takes place in under Galbotorix's army. Also some chapters will be about Galedrim, Eris, and Quasar my other rp charrys.

Chapter 8: Their Worst Enemies

Eris and Galedrim were soaring on top of Quasar. Her saddle was wider than most dragon saddles so they could sit on her while conjoined. Have you spotted anything? Galedrim asked his dragon.
No, the enemies are on the retreat still. Hopefully they don't attack us again we barely managed an small army. Not to mention the fact we haven't fought any enemy dragon riders before. Quasar replied, her copper scales glistening in the sun light. Eris looked down at her back. re was brave with most things but could not get over his fear for flying.
Don't worry Eris I won't let you fall. said Quasar
Right... Well can we return we haven’t seen anything and I'm freezing. replied Eric.
Its not that cold.
Well your a dragon it harder for you to get cold.
You two quit arguing. Quasar, Eris is right we should head back now. replied Galedrim.
Quasar turned around and she angled toward their city. It wasn't protected by much, only a small wooden wall. Even though the defenses were weak the fighters there were brave, skilled, and courageous. When they reached the village Quasar landed. A silver dragon slightly larger than Quasar approached her.
The dragon's scales were a brilliant silver and he eyed Quasar with delight. He went up to her and rubbed his neck against hers. His name was Sceptar. He came from the Varden when a spy heard that Galby was planning on attacking there. He bore a human rider and they stayed here to protect the city. He and Quasar became friends almost immunity.
How was your flight? he asked her
Well, we didn't see anyone so I think the army had fully retreated. Quasar replied.
That's odd I would expect them to counter attack. Maybe they're planning on bringing more troops.
Eris, Galedrim and I could leave then Galbotorix wouldn't have any point to attack us.
He still will, he knows that a dragon rider was here so even if you leave he will still attack. replied Sceptar.
"Where is your rider." asked Eris.
He is adding more defense to the city I came over here when I saw you land. said Sceptar.
"Thanks for helping us in the last attack. We owe you one, without you we may have lost." replied Galedrim.
Its no problem the dragon rider are here to help people in need.
Eris and Galedrim left to help build up the walls and Quasar started to follow them. Sceptar stopped her as she went.
You fought well in the battle Quasar you should be proud of that. said Sceptar.
I am but if it wasn't for you that man named Morzan would have killed me and Eris. replied Quasar.
Well at least you two and Galedrim are still alive. Come we should also help.
Wait you were the one who stopped me!

Twenty miles away an army approached the city. Its ranks numbered in the tens of thousands. Galbotorix was leading the army Shruken right below him. Crimson stood in the front lines. His face filled with delight about the oncoming battle.
"Listen up everyone! Two dragons are at that city and I want them and there riders dead! Now this attack will not fall by the end of this day we shall have the heads of two more dragons!" shouted Galbatorix.
The army cheered and they stampeded toward the city. Like wolves hunting deer they stalked their prey. About an hour later a guard shouted "We're under attack!"
Archers lined up on the wall firing arrows at the oncoming enemy. Crimson blocked an arrow with his sword and shot down the same archer with magic. He watched as the soldier next to him fell down. He did not care he only wanted him self and his king to live.
Galbatorix mounted his dragon and flew toward the wall blocking arrows. Shrukin launched down a blast of fire and the wall was set ablaze. Men screamed as they were burned alive then the rest of the army toward through the wall and the city went into a blaze of blood.
Eris mounted Quasar and she flew off toward Galby. She dove to Shrukin's side but he shot upwards. She bit onto his leg but he kicked her in the mouth with the other. Galby jumped of Shrukin and onto Quasar. He dove and Eris and sent both of them plummeting to the ground. Quasar dove for her ride but Shrukin grabbed onto her tail with his claws and her back with his teeth. She let out a roar of pain and turned her head and bit the smaller dragon’s chest.
Surrender you can't defeat me. Shrukin mocked her.
I will never fall to like of you. Quasar replied.
Quasar slashed at Shrukin and he let go of her. He eyed her greedily and bit a large chunk of flesh out of her side. Blood poured onto the ground and he laughed madly. She whipped around and bit his wing. He snapped at her neck and broke her off of him and threw her to the ground. She just managed to regain her flight before she smacked into the ground. She torpedoed right back at the black dragon.

Eris barley had time to break his fall. He was lying on his back back when Galbatorix slashed down at him. He rolled out of the way and jumped to his feet. He charged Galby and slashed into his back. Galby turned around and struck Eris on the shoulder. Eris upercutted Galy with his sword but he jumped back and parried the blow. Eris slammed his sword on Galby's hed but he grabbed the hilt. With terminus strength he tore it out of its wielders hand. Eris jumped back to avoid both of the swords. Quasar, Eris are any of you there. I really need help tight now. Eris said.
He tried to retreat but Galby was gaining o him. He noticed from above a speck of silver. Sceptar raced down toward Galy. Before He could do anything the silver dragon knocked him to the ground. Eric grabbed his sword but before he could do anything he was blasted back by magic.

Galedrim Blocked a blow to his head and stabbed the soldier through the heart. He twisted around and stabbed a man through the gut. He watched as an enemy catapult hurled rocks towards them. He blocked one flying right at his head but a man a few yards away was crushed. Galedrim started to tear through enemy lines with his copper sword he crushed metal and bones. He was hit in the side by a sword. He stumbled a little but killed the man with one of the seven killing words. He was making great progress until he reached an elf. He stared at the elf wondering why an elf would help such a man.
"Who are you!" demanded Galedrim.
"Your worst nightmare and your death." replied Crimson.
Crimson swung at Galedrimes head with his over sized sword. He barely had time to block it. He jumped with the speed of an elf and slammed his sword down at Crimson. He blocked the blow and sliced Galedrim in the leg. Kneeling on the ground he countered a blow by Crimson. He pushed him self up and tore a gash out of Crimson's leg. Crimson swung at the elf but Galedrim ran around him and struck at his back. Crimson swept around and blocked Galedrim and sliced a gash deep into his chest.

Quasar felt through her mental link that both of her riders were in trouble. She quickly flew away from Shrukin and fist toward Galedrim. Shrukin was right behind her. He bit into her tail and started to drag her back. Although she was much larger than him he was still her equal in fighting ability. She turned around and bit into the smaller dragon's head. Then she saw below her Sceptar with Eris and his own rider on his back.
I'll handle this you find Galedrim and order a retreat. he said.
Quasar turned away to find her elven rider.

"Its a pity you are the one I'm killing. I would rather tear apart your dragon but at least she will be dead when I kill you." taunted Crimson.
"No she won't my brother will still be alive. My brother may be a fool sometimes but I will do one this he does. Not give up without a fight."
"Good I love a challenge. After I am done with you maybe I can find and kill my own dragon."
"What?!" exclaimed Galedrim "You have a dragon."
"Why yes I have a pack mule of my own. Now I grow tired of talking to you. FIGHT ME!"
Crimson charged Galedrim and they crossed swords. Galedrim who was weakened already by the battle started to fall down. He saw his life flash before his eyes. He knew the end was here with one swipe of that oversized sword. Then he heard a roar and a glimmer of copper tackled Crimson to the ground
Hurry up and get on Galedrim, we don't have much time we need to retreat and are you all right?" Quasar asked Worryingly.
"Yeah I'm fine." Galedrim said. He climbed onto his dragon and they took off into the air.
"Everyone retreat follow us!" he shouted.
The village fled but they were pursued. The only survivors would be Quasar, Eris, Galedrim, Sceptar, and his rider. They fled southwards toward the dragon riders and their base against Galbatorix.

Thanks, well its not my fault Crimson and Galby are evil. Anyway I will probably have a few more battle seens with them in it. Also sence this isn't going to be published I can say at least one charry will die.

Right now I'm debating if I should post another fanfic. I'm working on a third series its not going to be published but I'm not sure if it will be good. Also it may have spoilers from Razada.

Chapter 9: Dwarves and Visions

Equinox was left in the forest. He managed to crawl there and catch a few rabbits. He was still bleeding a little and was in great pain both physically and emotionally. His scales were splattered with blood and dirt. His right front leg was even more contorted than usually. He lingered in and out of sleep. His dreams breeding to there own laws.

He was charging down a long hallway. ten humans, a leopard, and a wolf were with him. They approached a door and the leopards eyed glowed. The human raised his hand and shouted. "Cascadea ge maleo singdalivlaita!" The door was flung of its hinges and struck a man on the head. The leopard jumped through the door way first and shot a blast of energy at a man with a sword and blasted him into a wall, cracking his spine.
Lying on the ground was another green dragon with a large wing span. A man with red hair stood a few feet away from her with his sword drawn out. The people were charging at eachother when Equinox was jolted back into reality.

"A dragon, quick it looks injured get the healers here now!" shouted the dwarf. The dwarf like all dwarves was short. He had a black beard and was in hyis two hundreds. An axe was in his hands and he was yelling at people to help Equinox. A group of fifty dwarves placed Equinox on a large stretcher and carried him toward their city. Some people ran out at them protesting but most jumped out of the way as the dwarves carried Equinox to the healer.
The healer’s house was full of plants and potions. A large bed was nere the back, that was where they laid Equinox down at. The healer went up to the green dragon and started patching up his wounds. The dwarf picked up a rag and cleaned out a gash on Equinox's side.
"Dragon, I don't know what happened to you but don't worry, you will be in good hands now. I swear on my grave that I won't ket those humans harm you." said the dwarf

Once Equinox saw another image. He watched as Crimson has his sword at a human's throat. Off in the distance he saw the body of an elf laying dead, as if the grim had struck the elf and killed him. Equinox watched the vision rotated and was horrified to find him self standing in front of Crimson. "Try to attack me Equinox and he dies." said Crimson. Around them people fought, some trying to get to Crimson others defending him. He heard a horn blow and someone shout. “There here there here, Razada has arrived!”

He wasn’t sure what Razada us, he didn’t even know who the people were. The next thing he knew was that he was staring at a dwarf.
Who are you. Equinox stammered.
"Do not fear me. I saved your lives. Other dwarves found you injured in the forest and brought you here. What happened to you, those wounds look teribble."
I was captured by humans and when I was a hatchling. My rider... he beet me and abondoned me. I-I-... I was also betrayed by someone I though was my friend. This was really hard for Equinox to say and it took him about five minutes to say the hole thing.
"If these times were not so hard we would declare war on the humans who did that to you. Your rider, why did he abandon you."
I don't know, but he hated me right from the start. His name is Crimson and he hates dragons.
"Why did he want a dragon then."
Equinox remained silent, he know longer wanted to talk about this. It brought to much sadness, to much pain. He hoped that the dwarves wouldn't misstret him. By the looks of it however; they seamed friendly. Equinox wondered about his dreams, were they a vision of his future. It was all confusing for him.
