I highly doubt CP would kill Saphira. A dragon rider has already died and their dragon has gone to their Eldunari. CP isn't repetitive like that.

The difference between Harry Potter and Saphira is is that Harry could have died, it was foretold that he might. It just wouldnalt be the same if Saphira died.

Actually it would be quite similar. J.K. Rowling would have destroyed almost 20 years of work if she killed Harry. She would have taken the series all this way just to kill him. If Saphira died CP would be destroying all the work he started at 15. She is so important that it would wreck the series.

And that is why I believe that Saphira won't die. She is too important to the series and I really don't think CP would destroy his life's work. And I would REALLY hate it if she got stuck in her Eldunari. I'd hunt the man down and beat him just because. Her stuck not able to move on her own... No she won't, I refuse to believe that they would do something as foolish as killing Saphira, the very last female dragon. as it would mean they would all go extinct. Unless they steer the book in a "now is the time for humans to work with humans and not rely on anything else" way of doing things (which would be an aweful thing for them to do)

they may leave together, perhaps meaning that the male dragons will all die (which would have her and Eragon decide to travel far and wide looking for other dragons, wild ones for example dispite the difficulties) but Saphira will live

I don't understand why when Murtagh was fighting Eragon he said Galby wanted them so they could replenishh the dragons but I thought that he made it out to be that only Saphira and the last dragon could only have kids not her and Thorn could.

I would imagine that any dragon could mate with any other dragon.. its just a matter of wanting to do so. I am guessing Galbatorix intends to enslave Saphira and Eragon, and make Saphira and either Thorn or his own dragon mate so she will reproduce. He wants to recreate the dragon riders under his own rule.. x.x if Saphira is forced then I suppose death would be a pleasent alternative to living on afterwards but I don't see her getting captured.

It would be rather easy for him to force Saphira into doing things if Galbatorix learns her true name, which he is rather good at given what he did to Murtagh and Thorn.

The ones that have happened are him having to make great choices and lots of battles, the land struggling to control him, future filled with blood and conflict, he is one of the few that are free, death that came (Brom), he will have a great journey, epic romance, and betrayal of family. The ones that haven't yet are the long life (simply because the story hasn't gone on that long), him leaving Alagaesia, and of course the results of all the choices and whether he will have the happyish ending or not.

I am sorry to say that by the time any of you arrived I would have already stealthfully slipped in to the building, CP would be sitting casually in his chair seeming to have just fallen asleep, but on his chest will be pinned a note, and the note will say "Saphira has died, thus so too has her father. all is right with the world." or something to that effect.... only most likely something more poetic XD but I wonder if we could be arrested for all this talk of killing CP

Pretty much. Or that's what I think anyway. Actually, when i was a freshman, I made this one kid stand up before I slapped him. It was pretty funny.
