I was hoping as a newcommer that you guys could help me out. You see, I'm an amateur song writer who hasn't had any inspiration for lyrics, so I centered a tune around Eragon. Well Mate i have to say im well and truly impressed. For an ametuer song writer that is damn good. I know how hard it is to write anything from songs to stories when theirs so much good material other people have wrote. I agree with eragonluver you definitely need to get a drum in their for their are certain parts where it would fit in beautifully. Nearer the end i think you should soften it right down so its almost quiet when you finish it. Also work a little bit more on the lryics.

Everyone has been very encouraging. Thanks for the compliments and suggestions. Shur’tugal.com has been kind enough to feature the song in an article as well as host it. I truly appreciate the feedback I’ve gotten from fellow fans, and it has spurred me on to write more. Dylan was correct in saying that I am 19-22, but not for much longer, however Argetlam, I assure you I’m still a kid. Isn’t it great to be able to use the talents and interest we enjoy to inspire others toward creativity. That’s what the Inheritance books have done for me. Composing songs to companion Eragon was the result of writers block, but now I see that perhaps I should attempt to do so again. Yet, I need some help: this first song was written in first person, any thoughts as to how and change that up a bit?

Hmmm, you can veyr much see that it has been rushed. I love the guitar work, thats really really good. But the lyrics arent at the same standard as your previous. For me they seemed to drag a bit, a song can be slow and meledous but it has to keep the listener interested. Changes of pace is just one way to do it. It seems to me that you tried to hard to get it done in a small amount of time. It feels like you where by all means nesecery trying to stick to the book. I know this is songs about the book but i think you can explore how aspects of the book relate to the real world aswell. Just my '10 cents'. But well done another good piece of work from our fastest growing pop star.

Not to be rude or anything but I think the song stinks.... I kinda think that its way to obbsesive. Maybe you should take out names (of people and places) and then take out dragon rider and replace it with somthing. Make it just a song that is based off of eragon but is a song on it's own. Maybe you could send the song to a good singer once it is revised and changed. You could get alot of money for it I bet.

Wow that has got to be the best idea EVER to write a song about Eragon! I had actually thought about doing that myself. I couldn't hear the song (b/c my computer is dumb) but the lyrics are great!
