Sarah sighed exasperatedly. They had been flying for some time now, and were totally lost. They were somewhere to the West of the Hadarac, but how far west, and exactly where they were, they had no clue. Sarah looked down at Arcus and said in a somewhat aggrivated tone, "Arcus, why are we up here, I know I didn't make us come up here..."

Oh yes you did, remember when you said, "Hey, lets go west, maby we will find something out there, remember that, well, it was you. said the rainbow colored dragon in an accusing manner. In truth, he had been as curious and anxous to come out here as Sarah had, but he was not one to voice it. He continued to flap his wings, steadily, despite the nervousness he was feeling as he went. He was not a quitter, nor a coward he would not turn back.

OOC: ... rainbow color isn;t working, so he has white type atm, and OPEN TO ALL WHO WILL STAY ACTIVE!!!! Especially, those charries that are brand new, such as Kits new charry, or Ben's, I am not picky, lol!

OOC: Did someone say my name? Lol

IC:"Wow" Kegan grumbled under his breath. "Why do I always get lost?!" He yelled out into the sky, not noticing a rainbow-colored dragon and it's rider flying pretty close by. He started walking a bit faster, knowing that it was going to get dark very quickly and he could have a little less to walk the next day. His child legs started to ache, but he increased his pace even more.

After several moments of jogging, Kegan began to think someone was watching him. With the speed of an elf he took off, determined to get as far away from that spot as possible. He had no idea if anything was watching him or not, but his very active imagination prevented him from assuming there wasn't.

Finally, Kegan got a grip on himself. If there was something looking to kill him, wouldn't it have already? He examined the sky, noticing a rainbow-colored creature flying in the sky. From where he was it looked like a bird, and he just continued on.

OOC: Just so you know, Kegan doesn't know what a dragon is.

Sarah looked off of Arcus' snining scales, onyl to see a young looking human/elf mix. She said, "Hey, lets land over there, maby he knows where we are, or maby how to get back." she waved a cheery "hello" to the boy and when they landed jumped off and said, "Hi, my name is Sarah, my dragon over there is Arcus, we are a team, and we are lost, do you by chance know where we are, or how to get back to Alagaesia, oh! and by the way, what is your name?" said the beautiful woman as she pulled some food out of her saddle.

Arcue, however was more aprehensive. He said, Sarah, we have no lcue watsoever who that is, for all we know, that kid could be Galbatorix in desguise. I say that we play it safe. however, Sarah was stubborn as a mule and went ahead and did what she wanted. When he landed, Arcus tentively sniffed the hybrid, he found that the human/elf seemed to be ok enough. He said, Hello, my name is Arcus, the rainbow dragon,what si your name?

"Well, my friend, why don;t you ask him with your mind. Arcus there is a dragon and a fine one at that, he can fly, breathe fire, and is quite strong, that about wraps it up and that is about all normal dragons can do, of and they can talk with their minds." laughed Sarah as she tried to explain everything to Kegan. She immediately liked this young hybrid. She tossed a canteen of water and a loaf of bread to him and said, "Here, have som ewe have plenty and when we get to needing more, Arcus can hunt for us."

Arcus looked at the hybrid with a look of disbelief. He said, You don't know what a dragon is?! I am a dragon! Well, sorry, sometimes I get excited. I am the same species as the ceratures that fly about breathing fire, the same as the dragons the riders had, as well as the same kind of creature as that acursed Shruikan. That is what a dragon is.

Well, you are older than me, I am only six! exclaimed the dragon laughingly. He said, Well, you must have done a lot to get all the way up here by yourself, and with no wings. said the dragon as he settled down for the night. He said, Yea, we are lost up here, and have ABSOULTELY no clue where we are. said the dragon, staring poitedly at Sarah who just smiled mischeviously.

Sarah sat down beside the ten-year-old and said, "So, tell me something aobut your life, I know its kinds rude, but well, I am curious!" exclaimed the rideress as she lit a fire with magic to head up her jerky. She leaned back against a nearby fallen log, enjoying the heat of the fire.

OOC: Do you mind if I join, a bit later? I was thinking of either Na'ir or Sirius, but I'll let you guys choose, actually.

OOC: Sure, welcome to the story, I really don't care too much, who it is that joins, lol.

IC:
Sarah looked into the fire and started, "Well, I was born at Terim and lived there for years, until that is my father was late soming home. So, I searched for him, and find him I did. He was dieing and he gave me Arcus' egg. He told me to take it to the Varden, but whe we got to the Varden, Arcus had already hatched, and that si a vague, but still good history of my life. Since then, I have been fighting Galbatorix and Shruikan." said the young woman solemnly at the fact that she for all apparent reasons had no family. If she ever went back to visit her mother, it was likely that they both would be killed and her father was already dead...

Arcus stepped in after Sarah went silent and said, Even though she lost a lot, she gined many friends, including myself. So, that is about it. saud the rainbow dragon as he curled around Sarah and began to fall asleep.

OOC: I don't mind which one joins either

IC: "I'm trying not to take sides on this whole war-thing", said Kegan "But the thing is, I'm very easily convinced, so I try to stay away from both sides as much as possible". He lightly layed his pack down on the ground, taking out his tent. He set it up quickly, considering the fact that he was only ten. Before going inside of the tent, though, he put a thick covering over top of the tent, preventing any light from getting out.

After that was all done, the young boy scrambled inside, excited about this nights practice. He stood, arms extended. He then made a fist, and with one strike, made fire come out. The young hybrid ran around the tent, breathing fire out of his mouth and making fire come out of his hands and feet.

Sarah slept soundly that night, until she was woken up by bright flashed of light. She saw the Kegan running about the camp, making fire with his mouth, feet and hands. She said, "You never told us about that little power earlier. That si really cool!" exclaimed Sarah admirably. She was amazed as the fire leaft his mouth, feet, and hands at his will.

Arcus rose his head up from sleeping when he saw the hybrid making fire with his hands, feet, and mouth. He looked at Sarah and said, What is the big deal? I do that all the time, and you never asay that much about it. Anyway, thats cool, Kegan. Not that I can't do it. laughed the dragon.

OOC: I've gotta cut out the using of fire with hands and feet, but there's no need to edit out posts

IC: Kegan awoke slowly, not wanting to start his day. He was not surprised to find Sarah and Arcus right by him, and though he most of all wanted to be as far away from a person that knew of his powers as possible, he didn't budge... Kegan had never hesitated to run before, but why was he now? Was destiny trying to keep him there for a reason? Was there some unfinished job he had to do? He sat up, noticing the others weren't awake yet.

He breathed a small breath of fire, warming his face with his very useful power. Doing that was also his own little language he used. Breathing a small cloud signified new friendships and/or loyalties. In that case, though, it was a new friendship.

OOC: Must you make this difficult? Fine, I shall join with Na'ir. She hadn't done anything by herself yet.

IC: Na'ir let the thermals carry her. She was working though; she constantly adjusted the angle of her wings in order to stay on the same level in the air. The thermals could easily carry her up quickly, and she could drop off of them suddenly. She had explored the eastern lands even more than she had Alagaesia, as she had been born closer to them; and felt more of an affiliation with them. It was also much quieter here; though there were dangers, Na'ir could avoid them easily. And if anyone needed help, she could help them without worrying about an Empire getting involved.

As she flew, she noticed something sparkling and colorful down below, and zoomed in on it with her telescopic vision. A dragon? And two humans. Could one be his rider? Riders don't come out this way very often, she thought, her interest piqued. The blue dragoness folded her wings, hiding the stark black and white stripes on the membrane, and dove. Her graceful form cut like more smoothly through the air than a fish through water, and soon she was too close to the ground to continue. Na'ir snapped open her wings, beating them powerfully and bringing herself to a halt in the air. Hello! My name's Alna'ir! Who are you? she called, hovering a few dragonlengths above the others.

OOC: You know what, I really like Kegan, lol. Also, I can edit if you wish.

IC:
Sarah woke the next morning to the flapping of wings. She looked up to see a young blue female dragoness hovering in the air over them. She got up and stretched, and said, "Goodmorning, Kegan, and the same to you, dragoness. Tell me, what is your name, I am called Sarah, my dragon there is Arcus and if he hasn't already introduced himself, this is Kegan our newfound friend. It is an honor to meet you." said the woman with a quick courtsey to the dragoness.

Arcus woke up irritably and stretched his multicolored wings. He gave Kegan a short "hello" and turned to the blue dragoness. He said, Well, I would say good morning, but as far as I am concerned, it is not. I stayted uplate hunting for Kegan, and now I am woken up early by another dragon, but anyway, hello. said the rainbow dragon to the blue femaly hovering above them.

OOC: Nah, it's fine, Voenth. I would only edit the posts if I were in a bunch of rpgs with him. And thanks for the compliment, Voenth, it just made my day (seriously, it did)


"Uh... Hi, my name's Kegan" The boy said to the dragon up in the sky. He meekly took a step away from Arcus when he complained of being up half the night searching for him. It was as if their friendship was so ruined by Kegan's running away that it would take even longer for it to heal than it was for it to start in the first place! The hybrid didn't bother mentioning it, though. It was bad enough that Sarah and Arcus, people he had just met over night, knew his greatest secret. He didn't want anyone else knowing of his powers.

"This is all really hard to comprehend... First, I figure out there's dragons, and now you're telling me they come in different colors?! Where have I been all my life if I haven't seen one of these creatures before?!"

OOC: I agree, Kegan's a cool charry.

IC: Na'ir smiled. I'm Na'ir. I'm sorry I woke you. If you're hungry, I can get you breakfast and you won't have to get up yet, she replied to Arcus with a grin. And I'm very happy to meet you all, she added. The blue dragoness fluttered down to the ground, standing happily in front of the others. She eyed Kegan with curiosity when the boy mentioned something about not knowing there were dragons. Well, there aren't a lot of us, so that's understandable. And yeah, we come in as many colors as there are. Most of us are one color, but I have three, and you seem to have a ton, Arcus, Na'ir said with a bright laugh. The lovely morning was putting her in a cheerful mood, though she knew she usually was in a cheerful mood.

Sarah looked at Na'ir and said, "Oh, that would be wonderful, Arcus, you great lumb, go help her! What if she sprains her wing or something?! Get your greet scaly tail up there, or I will never leave you alone!" said Sarah as her smile turned into a frown at the reluctance of the dragon, then back to a cheery smile. She looked at Kegan and said, "Sure, they come in all shapes and sizes, many like that Gornath, and umm, yes! Phalynx, thats her name, have odd powers, causing them to specialize against some creatures, however neither of us have found Arcus' yet, but we will keep trying." said the woman.

Arcus sighed and leapt into the air. He was larger than the dragoness, but he had a much smaller wingspan. He said, Lets get this over with, I am tired and in no mood to be up all day.

Sarah sat back down as she watched the dragons fly away. She said, "Its good for Arcus to be around others, as it si for you, so ... want something to snack on until they get back?" asked Sarah to Kegan.

Arcus had to pick up his wingbeat, just to keep up with Na'ir. He said, DDo you always fly this fast? I mean, I don't fly this fast when I am fighting. said the rainbow dragon, trying to get his mind off of his aggrivation. Then he said, Nah, I need to bring sometihng back, else Sarah will never shut up...

Sarah tossed Kegan a small loaf of bread, then some dried, and very tough jerky. She said, "Sorry, tis not much, but Na'ir and Arcus should be back soon enough, and hopefully with them, some real meat." said the woman thinking about how she will cook the food once it gets back to them.

Arcus listened to the dragoness, and when she dove for her antelope, he singeled his own out. It was a large, fat, female. He silently flew over it, and ended its life with a quick swing of his tail. He lifted the antelopw and caught two more. He said, There, that is more than enough for the others, if you want more, I can get them. Also, thanks, hunting did lighten my mood.

Kegan gnawed on the jerky, just happy to have some meat. Even he could admit it was tough to chew, but he didn't really mind, so long as he could eat it. The hybrid set the bread aside, figuring Sarah would eat it. While Sarah wasn't looking, he breathed a small stream of fire onto the jerky. It both made it smell and taste better. The boy smirked, imagining himself as a head chef for a gigantically fat king.

OOC: Sorry, it's short!

Sarah sat on the log some three to four feet from Kegan and voiced her thoughts aloud, "Hmm, I wonder why he tries to hid ehis ability, i mean, I know that if Galbatorix ever found out, hed be in trouble, or if the Varden ever really needed him, but I mean, if we didn't like him, we wouldn't have come after him last night ... boys ...." Then, when she heard the flapping of wings, she sat up. She casted a small spell that created a small fire pit and put some rocks around it. She waited as Arcus threw some antelope down to her, then looked at Kegan and said, "Well, are you gona cook em or will I have to do it the hard way?"

Sarah sighed and said, "Ok. Arcus will you do the favors?" asked the rideress as she stepped back for the rainbow dragon to use his fire upon the antelope to effectively cook them.

Arcus took in a deep breath and sent forth a powerful flame of multicolored dragon fire. He burned the antelope for some thirty-five seconds, then stepped back from the steaming meat. He said, Breakfast is ready! then proceeded to tear two legs off and eat them.

Sarah smiled when Kegan tore into the meat, then, she too pulled out her knife and began to eat. She cut a large hunk of meat and tore into it. Whe she was done, she daintilly wiped her mouth and leaned back against a nearby tree.

Once everyone began to eat, he did too. He tore into the cooked meat with a vengance. Once he finished, he looked up at Na'ir and said, So, you seem to have been up here a lot, are there any, you know like reall hazards out here?

OOC: Thanks, V!

IC: Kegan looked at Na'ir as if she were crazy. "Whad'r... ya worried 'bout?! I din't do nuffin... so don't look at me like I'm a cwazed... psycho," The boy managed to babble. He didn't realize that he was just about giving away what he had done. Of course, the powers of ale had trapped his inner being deep within, as if asleep. The boy would be lucky if someone didn't take advantage of his weakness right then and there, and make him tell them of his powers...

OOC: Not to be a double poster, and not to be rushy, but it's your turn, Draco.

OOC: What?! Argh, it is!

IC: Na'ir thought for a moment before answering Arcus, thinking over all she knew of this area. In the immediate area it's usually no more dangerous than any other place. Mostly just empty. But if you keep going too far there are some pretty treacherous areas. There's the Red Desert to the north. There are spells there that cause newcomers to be lost forever. And then, to the northeast, there's a huge range of mountains. Not really dangerous, unless you encounter a rogue monster or get on the wrong side of a dispute with the dragons there. But to the southeast there's the Scorched Lands, and they're pretty much the most dangerous place within thousands of miles, she answered, happy to be relaying her knowledge of geography.

Alna'ir heard Kegan's reply and turned her head to stare at him. What did you eat? Or drink? Even I can tell that this isn't normal two-leg behavior, she said suspiciously, eyeing the boy with her bright green gaze.

Sarah looked at Kegan and laughed, loudly. She said, "He is drunk, hehe, I mean, I am sorry, he has had a little too much of this." said Sarah as she reached into the boy's back and pulled out the canteen. She sniffed it, then fell back and said, "Woo! That is some strong stuff, I think we should leave that alone." said Sarah to the surrounding dragons.

Hmm, so we should be relatively safe. said Arcus as he curled up around Sarah and said, Say, Kegan, what is your power again? laughign to himself, wondering if he will reveal it in his drunken stupor.

Sarah could not conceal her giggling when Na'ir talked about Kegan aiming his mouth away from her. She said, "Hahaha, that is so true, Na'ir." then hurled the bottle into the air and sent a small flame of magic at it, which caused a large and loud explosion. Her face reddened and then said, "Alcahol and fire does not mix, I need to remember that." said the woman as she tried to hide her red cheeks.

Arcus laughed loudly when Kegan stood up and "demonstrated" his power. He said, That looked exactly like a small, human-like dragon hatchling! roared the dragon laughingly. Then, when Sarah nearly blew all of them up, he rolled over on his back in such a fit of laughing, he was unable to breathe for several minutes.

Sarah eyed the still drunk Kegan. She backed away and held her hands out both in a pleading way, but for another reason, it helped with magic. She said, "I am sorry, I didn't know it meant so much to you. But, the fact is, it is unhealthy for you, and it makes it even worse when you have that ability of yours. So, I am sorry, but don't do anything yo umight regret." said the woman.

Arcus growled lowly and stepped between Sarah and the drunken Kegan. He said, Watch it, Kegan, we have tried to become your friends, if you do something stupid here, it could be your life and definately our friendship.

Sarah eyed Arcus critically. She said, "Did you have to be that hard on him. He is just a kid, it is not like we couldn't defend ourselves if he accidentally attacks us, or anything. He is still a child..." said Sarah as she went over to Kegan. She said, "Arcus didn't mean it. He was just trying to stop you from makign a mistake. Are we still friends?" asked the woman in a motherly fasion. She pulled another small piece of jerky out and offered it to the young elf. She said, Here take it, it does a body good to eat."

Sarah nervously nocked an arrow to her bow. She scanned the area around and said, "I am glad you see "it" cause I sure don't." said the woman as she quietly moved about the camp, always looking for something, anything to move.

Sarah began to think more and more about it, and sent a powerful arrow at the "it" the arrow's end was lighted by a magic spell, and when it hit the monster, it revealed it to be a very ferocious looking dragon. She looked at the dragon and sent another arrow at it.

Sarah said, "He must be an enemy, and I am not going to even try to talk to him." said the woman as she began to shoot arrows rapidly at the dragon. The arrows hit their mark, but they didi not do much, if any damage whatsoever, because of the thick scales on the dragon.

Sarah scramed angrily at the dragon and ran at it, shooting arrow after arrow at the monster, some hit their mark, some didn't, she didn;t realyl care. She tried using magic, but somehow it didn't affect the monster dragon. She finally reached Kegan. She "stole" some energy from the surrounding trees and used it to heal both the small elf and her dragon; Arcus. She ran over and said, "Let us kill this monster!"

Sarah stood there, shaking ... there was nothing that she could do. She was useless, totally pointless here, Arcus was doing his best, but he was too weak ... what could she do?

Arcus continued to fight, he finally got the uper hand when the black dragon was distracted by Na'ir's fire. He took his chance and leapt in. He charged the other dragon and sent it sprawling in the dust. he sent a bright, multicolored flame at the dragon and roared, saying, Leave us alone, else we will kill you!

Sarah's eyes hardened when she saw that the dragon had Kegan. She walked forward, stikk shaking, but this time from anger. She said, "Leave Kegan alone, I said, LEAVE HIM ALONE!" yelled Sarah angrily at the black dragon. She stopped some five meters from the dragon and stared him in the eye. She said, What do you want, I will do whatever it is you wish if you will leave him alone?

Arcus looked at Sarah as if she were crazy when she offered him anything. He roared, What?! Sarah, are you crazy?! You can't do that, what if he takes you away, what if I never find you?! roared the rainbow dragon in a panic-stricken voice.

OOC: Do either of you guys actually know what the dragon wants?

IC: Na'ir glanced worriedly at Kegan, afraid he would do something reckless and get himself killed. Sure, she and the dragon and rider pair could kill this dragon if it killed Kegan, but then the boy would be dead. Surely there was something the dragon wanted. Na'ir was hoping for a way to trick the beast once it made its demands. She had to know what they were first, though. At the moment she could do nothing more than hover there, waiting anxiously for something she could do. Any idea would be welcome.

OOC: I have no idea, Ben, this one is up to you, since your charry got captured, I will pass this turn, and hopefully there will be more to say next turn...

IC:
Sarah looked angrily at the dragon, and angry at herself. She could do nothing... SHE WAS USELESS! She looked about, and said, "Dragon, I will make you this deal, whatever you want, anything at all, for the boy, please, he is one of my only friends, I am begging you to let him go..."

OOC: Okay, I don't mind . I was hoping one of you would figure it out though

IC:Kegan continued to kick back and forth, and occasionally breathing pillars of fire in random directions. He was on his nerve's end, and was liable to do just about anything. He quieted down as Sarah said she would do anything for his return. Only a true friend would do something like that, even Kegan, the wild boy, knew that. He smiled in her direction, realizing what she was doing.

I have only been following this boy for his entire life! yelled the black dragon. He is wanted by the empire! How have you three not heard of him? Everyone in the entire empire knows that this boy is only a menace to society! Half elf, half human. And then there's the secret fire abilities. He will be taken to King Glabatorix, where he will be trained and placed in the army as a front line soldier. There is nothing you can do to stop me!

OOC: Seem good enough?

OOC: Sounds fine to me. Let's make things even more interesting, shall we?

IC: Na'ir roared in anger as the dragon betrayed his allegiances. You work for Galbatorix? How can you? Filthy blood-traitor! You will not have Kegan! If we cannot free him, I shall get my parents and siblings to assist us, and they have absolutely no chance of failure! she cried angrily. The dragon's eyes suddenly lit with interest. Your parents? Wait... I know who you are... You are the spawn of Phalynx and Aeraldi! Two of the most wanted criminals in the Empire! Perhaps I will take you in as well. And you two. Galbatorix will want a new dragon and rider to work for him. You, little dragoness, will not be so lucky. Maybe we can finally apprehend your parents, the dragon said, smiling evilly where he was not holding Kegan in his teeth. Na'ir drew in a sharp breath of shock, realizing that she had made a grave mistake. You'll never take us! she cried defiantly.

Sarah knew they were in trouble when she heard that the black dragon was allyed with Galbatorix. She began to sneak behind the dragon and drew her dagger. She quietly crept closer, hoping to stab it in the eye, the only place where her small blade would make a difference, then he jumped into the air, hoping to get a staabbling blow and make it roar, which would mean opening it's mouth, but unluckily, the dragon's tail whipped around and hit her, hard. She was sent flying through the air and into the hard dirt some five meters away. She lay there, with the pain of the blow racking her entire body.

Arcus growled angrily and leapy forward, but the light in the dragon's eyes told him, not to try it, he would be unable to attack the dragon, because he would be unable to save Kegan before it snapped hi mlike a twig. He roared angrily and said, We will never serve Galbatorix, and if you kill Kegan, we will kill you, so you are just as stuck as we are, make one move to hurt him and we WILL KILL YOU! roared the multicolored dragon. He did notice it, but the sun was rising and the light bounced off of his scales, leaving him looking like a thousand different colored mirrors.

Arcus growled dangerously and said, Don't waSte your breath, he is far too cowardly to leave Galbatorix, to live your own life takes effort, as well as courage, this ... beast has neither of them, he is not our brother, our brothers and sisters have honor, they would fight like the dragons they are, not cower like a deer. He is not a dragon, he is not worthy of that title, he is nothing more than a pupet for Galbatorix, one that when it has served its usefulness will be done away with by him. said Arcus as he walked over to Sarah and lifted her unconscious form onto his back.

When the black dragon was blinded and it flung Kegan from its mouth, he immediately attacked. Wheile the black dragon was still distracted, Arcus leapt on him. He pushed the black dragonover onto its back and roared triumphantly. He placed his teeth dangerously close to the neck of the black dragon and threateningly said, One move, just one move and I will rip your throat out, Kegan, what do you want done with this ... beast? asked the multicolored dragon to the small hybrid.

Sarah managed to pull herself off of the ground. She groggily walked over to the others and said, "Owww, that hurt..." then fell down on her backside in front of a tree and the remains of the fire. She angrily looked at the dragon and said, "Now ther was no call for that...."\

Arcus growled at Alna'ir and said, If we let him live, he will probably follow us and kill us in our sleep, the only good enemy is a dead one, were this Galbatorix would you act the same way?! Well, it might as well be, through this dragon, Galbatorix is acting, don't you see that?! asked the multicolored dragon angrily.

Arcus looked at Na'ir and said, Yes, and that would be a horrible life, imagen if it were you, being locked up somewhere, where you could never fly, never leave, nor do what you wanted, or you could die a quick death, that would likely be painless, now make a decision, or something, I can't pin him but for so long and I am already becoming tired! roared the multicolored dragon angrily at the other dragoness. He was becomign tired of all of this, so he opened his mouth wide to kill the black before it had a chance to harm Sarah.

Sarah sighed and walked over to Arcus and said, "Let them do what they want, it is not our decision to take the lives of others, unless our own is in danger, let him up, and let them do what they want, in time they will see who is right." said the woman as she and Arcus backed away from the black dragon.

Arcus sighed annoyedly and walked away. He looked back at Alna'ir and said, You will remember my advice one day, when that dragon attacks you from behind, once a servant of Galbatorix, lways a servant of Galbatorix.

Kegan hopped down from Alna'ir's grasp, glad to be back on the ground again. "Guys, guys, we're all friends here, remember?" Kegan asked, looking around at everyone. Tension seemed thick in the air. And from what the hybrid figured, tensions led to arguements, and arguements led to fighting, and fighting led to killing, and killing led to... well... death.

"Look, why can't we all just get along?" The boy asked, "I'm quite fed up with friends fighting. Yes, we all might have different views, but can't we just state them in a calm fashion and come to a conclusion everyone likes? Is that so wrong?!" Na'ir drew herself up, stung by Arcus's words but unwilling to show it. If he proves to be a threat he will be dealt with accordingly. But he's never had a chance to try! And I said we'd be keeping him prisoner. Believe me, if he is taken as a prisoner by any of the dragons I have in mind, he won't be let out until they're sure of his intentions, she retorted. She gave an annoyed snort and stalked over to the dragon's wings. She'd follow through with her plan, whether she had help or not. She glanced down at Kegan when he spoke. I just gave a solution! And he ignored it! We can't just go around killing whoever we feel like, she said to the boy, still irked by Arcus's stubborn views.

Sarah sighed and climbed up on Arcus' back and waited for him to take flight. They would probably regret this decision, especially if Galbatorix has the dragon's eldunari, but she would go along wiht it, she could not bear to see Alna'ir, or Kegan getting hurt.

He began pacing for a bit, not sure he could exactly handle flying. He fainted the last time! There was nothing that could give him any confidence about flying, except that the dragons were experienced with it.

Sarah looked at Kegan and Na'ir and said, "Well, aren't all those places pretty far away, I mean, he is bretty big, well, larger than Arcus and I am not sure you, even all of us together could carry hom any real distance. Is there anywhere else?" asked the woman to the dragon and half elf, half human.

Arcus laughed also saying, If you are goign to do that, then why not just kill Galbatorix and end this war, that should not be too hard for one such as yourself. laughed the multicolored dragon at the other dragon.
