plus, even though hes dead, hes secrets were and will still be told throughout the series.

Murtagh for me all the way. He's got a cool dragon, and a cool new sword.

Its a tie between Murtagh and Saphira for me, though I like Saphira a little better. I actually took a qiuz on the Alegasia web site and it said the charecter I was most like was Saphira.

No duh she's going to be one of the main character's in the next book, Eragon loves her so she has to be.

I don't really care about the new swords and stuff, but i like Murtaghs personality and how he handles problems.

I like Murtagh too, he's a cool character, I just hope he joins Eragon's side at the end.

Meh Sry but i do not think thats going to happen. Unless CP changes it up, Murtagh will attempt to fight Galbatorix and die giving Eragon the chance he needs. As for the 3rd rider, there probably wont be one.

There is, CP has confirmed it. I think it will be Roran, some think Arya but I don't agree with them.

Then possibly this 3rd rider will not be any of the character mentioned. Its just TOO obvious.

I just can't see anyone becoming a rider currently. Hell, even Rorans girlfriend has a better chance than most of the candidates youve listed. I would lol if Sloan was the next rider xD

Why are Roran and Arya not illegible? They are way more illegible than Katrina and Sloan put together, they have no power.

Am I the only one who thinks that Arya being the rider is just a tee wit too obvious? Roran has a chance but i think one rider per family might conflict with it.

But Murtagh and Eragon are related so that just kills that theory.

i would say brom becuase without brom the story would be hard to understand, brom was CP's way of giving you the history of the empire, the dragon riders and he aswell as teaching eragon about these taught the reader aswell. he made the book alot less confusing. also i think that he seemed to be a nice old man that really wanted help in the quest to over through Galbatorix so he is my favorite.

Well Brom was the good old trainer. Sort of like Obi-Wan in the Starwars series.

I think the best character is Oromis, but he's not up there, so I chose Saphira.

Brom, because he's awesome. And the movie only confirmed that. Maybe he'll get brought back in the 3rd book? Hmmmm..... Murtagh's cool too, though; probably my 2nd favorite character.

i like murtagh in the book best because i generally like the antagonists of books better than the "hero" trying to save the world. In the movie though i liked durza. he just looked cool

haha i dont know why but i just like the "bad" guy of the story. the good guys always win and it just gets old after awhile. of course i want eragon to win in this book but im secretly pulling for murtagh and galby to make it very hard on him

I'm not into the whole antagonist thing. I like the characters who seem to have more depth than others. In this case Murtagh.
