Vulcan recieved the full extent of the ancient power from his father. If he becomes angry, he can defeat a full grown dragon and his fire breath is immense. However, he refrains from using it because he does not know the extent of its ferocity, and because he does not yet know the physical effect it will have on him.

Race: -Dragon.

Hair: -None. His scales however are an Iridescent orange.

Eyes: -Mainly orange however each has a sliver of red going through it.

Home Village: -Small Island close to Sharktooth.

Parents: -Braith and Seren.

Siblings: -Zelyts and Valkaria

Character Personality: Vulcan is a very peacefull dragon at times, however when he is roused he is a terrible foe. He is fearless, but rash at times, and loves to be in a good battle. He hates killing without need, but shows no mercy to his enemies. If anyone close to him is in danger he will protect them to the best of his ability. He does not like being ordered what to do, and prefers to give out his own orders. As a wild dragon, he finds the company of humans somewhat annoying but he also thinks them quite amusing. He believes that dragons are far supirior to anyother living creature. If insulted, he will become extremely angry, even to the point of killing the agittor, but he also despises flatery. He believes that all dragons should be free, and despises the ones under Galbatorix's control. Vulcan is filled with an unquenchable hatred for Galbatorix and all he stands for. Despite his fierce nature, he loves to learn new things and likes to make friends. He likes having his own ideas, but will still listen to others. He is a fierce defender of what is right, and hates all things evil. In all, he is a good friend and a fierce enemy.

Character History: Braith and Seren kept Vulcan's egg with them, wanting to at least have one dragon with them. He was always filled with an adventuresome spirit however, so one day, he left. He was determined to see the world, and to find out what his purpose was. He, was soon lost however, but never admited to himself. As he flew over a city, arrows were fired at him, in fear he flew away, afraid to stop. He was tired, hungry, but afraid to land, or hunt. All he did was fly. However, utterly exausted, he landed. Vulcan tried to hide himself, but the soldiers who had been sent to find him had informed other cities. Soon, he was caught in a net although this was not known to him. The next morning he left his hiding place, and prepared to fly. He was quickly surounded by soldiers. They moved in to capture him, but he suddenly let out a great roar and attacked. In minutes he had killed every soldier sent to get him. Surprised by his own power he flew off to find answers. Many adventures fell upon him, but he remained strong and overcame them all. A few months passed, but he still knew nothing. He finally decided that he would search out his parents, and find out the answers he needed. As he traveled in search of them, he was attacked by a dragon much older than him. As it assailed him, he felt an urge in him to breath fire. Before he knew what was happening, he let out a torrent so large the enemy dragon retreated. Again confused he resumed his search, and grew closer evey day.

Weapons: His Teeth, tail, horns, fire, and claws.

Likes: -A good fight, those close to him, and all things good.

Dislikes: -Evil, those who would harm his friends and family. Galbatorix.

Animal Companions: -None.

Character's Physical Description: Vulcan is a large dragon for his age with a wingspan of 51 feet. He has very large claws, which are silver instead of white. He has a very elegant pair of milk white horns, each about 4 feet in height, and very large white teeth. He has iridescent orange scales, and the same color eyes, except for a thin sliver of red going through each of them. He has a scar running down his tail from a battle with Galbatorix's men.

Dreams for the Future: - To find his family, learn about his powers, and bring Galbatorix to his knees.

Reason for Dreams: - He misses his family, is confused by his powers, and hates Galbatorix.
