ok in eldest,i remeber oromis teaching eragon how to draw energy from other beings...and i remember oromis yelling at eragon for taking it from him(oromis). so what i ask is this:

y cant eragon walk into urubaen and go up to galbatorix and drain all his energy?

this would kill galbotorix and give eragon insane power

the thing is that by the time Eragon got close enough to do that Galby would already know he was there ending in him killing Eragon

in myopinion, a good plan, but it would never work. First off thereare ways Galbatorix could stop eragon from absorbing his energy. One is that to do that Eragon has to open his mind completly, like he practices on the stump. this would leave his minnd open to attack by galbatorix. and also, and most importantlly, you have to be allowed into the persons mind to absorb their energy. Thats why eragon got so mad, because he was inside all the animals and stuff and they died when he used all their energy. I doubt Galbby would let Eragon into his mind. This is just one reason among the gaurds and the fact that all galbby would have to do is say a few words and eragon would be dead any way.

and ya know, i bet hes gonnna know Eragons in his palace or lair or where ever he lives, and that would give him the upper hand. And ya know theres always those i think the number is 12 words of killing...

the twelve words of killing. i think its 12. imm not sure but there are words of killing. Eragon mentionns them when he goes hunting with saphira in Du Weldenvarden outside the city. he kills some rabbits with one of the words. thats waht makes him into a vegitarian. it takes all the sport out of it, he doesnt even have to stalk them, he just senses them with his mind then kills them. its the ways Oromis meant when he was talking about ways to kill something that took no more energy that it took to lift a finger by pnching off arteries in the bran. i read it day before yesterday

well i galby knows where eragon is and he is close enough (A.K.A inside his palace/lair) then all he has do do is say one of the words and BOOM there goes Eragon.

really stinks for him doesnt it. but thats what the wards are for durring the battles. to keep magicians form just using those words to slaughter everyone in stight. but even with every ward ever invented, galby would be able to break eragons, as of now at least...

well i think that there is no way that would work. Its a good idea but you forget that if eragon can do it galby definetly can. Even if eragon started to drain galby's energy, galby would notice and either kill eragon or just drain his energy because he could probably do it much faster

I'm sure Galbatroix could totally pwn Eragon if he tried it. He's stronger than Eragon and he could easily drain all of Eragon's energy too.

Well even then, i bet he would consider hacving the Rider of the only female dragon, meaning his dragon is also probablly near, a higher issue than enything else. he would turn the cammand over to his second in command or something and go take care of Eragon.

she is just saying that to galby there is nothing more important than finding capturing saphira and if eragon were close enough to galby to steal his energy then saphira must be close by, therefore galby would then focus only on eragon and saphira

oh, i just remember that Oromis is deeply wounded. His knowledge is super, but his physical body is weak and each spell reagrdless to attack someone or to protect himself costs him dearly.

cos first galby would block him from his mind,

and then he would chop of his head or make him explode or something like that.

Galby wants Saphira rihgt, so he can restart the race of dragons...
if Eragon was close, Galby would assume saphirah was close too,
so he would make Eragon and his Saphira a top prioritty.
