Before: Bran was a very athletic twenty year old, with a pretty normal life, before he met Mel and was thrust into a world of magic. She has powers, and so does he. It was profeciced of death. He was stabbed in the lung trying to save Mel, now she has to deal with the decision that will change her life.


Mel sat in the corner chair watching Bran take in each painful breath. As he did she cried. THe her head shot up. " Mel." He weezed. She jumped up and ran to his side. " I need you to do something." He weezed again.
" What?" She asked.
" Kill me." He weezed again. She let go of his hand and backed away.
" What?" Mel asked again, unsure if she heard him right.
" Just do it, please." He weezed again.
" No." Mel cried.
" Don't let me go on like this." Bran asked.
" You want me to end your life?" Mel asked horrified.
" I was a healthy happy guy who loved to do, with a punctured lung, I won't live beyond a week. Would you rather me sit in pain, or would you admit you love me enough to end it now." Bran weezed painfuly.
" But, I can't." Mel cried.
" Please." Bran begged again.
" I can't." Mel cried.
" If you don't, I will be here missereable." Bran said, and this time coughed.
" Don't make me do this." Mel begged.
" I am not making you. I am asking." Bran said.
" You could get better." Mel cried.
" Do you believe I can?" Bran asked.
" No." Mel admitted. She moved closer.
" Then do it." Bran begged.
" How?" Mel asked, not believing what was coming out of her mouth.
" Give me your hand." Bran said, shakily.
" Okay." Mel began crying so hard it hurt. Bran took her hand and laid it on his chest.
" Lightening." Bran said. Mel began to shake. Then Bran did the unthinkable. He used his powers, and made Mel shoot lightening. He gave a spasm, and quit moving. She withdrew her hand and screamed, as loud as she could. She had killed her only love.
