Thank you Red. Okay, close friends only. We don't want this thread getting too crowded with unknown people. So draco, Rathon, dark dragon, and Daidrea. My brain has been on the fritz lately so if I forgot anyone that has a close friend character, please forgive me. And Red, I'm going to say Felecia is already in the hut. That's easier than having her try to find it on dragonback when she's nearly due.

IC:
Felecia sat in the rocking chair of the hut, humming softly as she idly stroked her swollen abdomen through the blanket. She opened her eyes and smiled, a beatific smile that made her sapphire eyes turn warm. She could hardly believe she was almost a mother. Elven children were so rare, mixed bloods even more so. Most of the time a relationship between an elf and human never worked out because of the difference in age. But she was lucky. She leaned her head back against the chair, thinking back to when she had met her mate. She chuckled and shook her head, hardly believing. It seemed so surreal. She idly drew her fingers through her blue-black hair, braiding it over one shoulder so it was out of the way.

She yawned widely and closed her eyes, sudden fatigue making her weary. She began humming again. It was a lullaby that her own mother had sang when she was young. It had a nostalgic ring to it, but it was soothing to the mind. She sighed as her stomach abruptly growled. She leaned forward a bit and opened her wings, using them to lift her out of the rocking chair and gingerly make her way to the kitchen. Fifteen minutes later, she had soup, jerky, and bread sitting on a tray and placed at a table to her left for easy reach. She had just sat back down and folded her wings behind her when she felt Fenirexes flick his thoughts out. Mesaraih was here. She smiled and looked up as his footsteps touched the hard packed dirt floor,"Your here early." she said with a dimpled smile, her sapphire eyes twinkling softly,"I'd get up and give you a hug, but I'm sure you can understand why I don't." she placed a hand over her swollen abdomen. She'd missed him. His eyes were the same flickering colors, same length and color hair. Same tender smile.

OOC: Oo, I will join! Phal needs another happy rp; she's in so many life-or-death, save-the-world, fight-for-survival ones.

IC: Phalynx smiled warmly, soaring almost lazily on the warm air currents (warm for this high up, anyway). She was making her way west, following a pull that she knew would lead to something good. A joyous event was about to occur in the lives of a few of her friends, she could feel it. There was no reason to hurry; she knew she'd be on time. Flapping easily beside her was her daughter, Alna'ir, her pointed wings easily maneuvering the air currents. Phal knew her eldest daughter would be a gifted flyer the moment she saw her wings; the black and white striped limbs were shaped like a mix of seagull and peregrine falcon. One bird could flawlessly navigate the powerful winds and turbulent currents of the open sea (which included storms), and one could fly and dive with incredible speed. Of course, there were no turbulent winds or storms to worry about today. The air was calm, and Phal felt an aura of peace. She sensed they were only a few minutes from their goal, now, and relayed as much to Na'ir.

Na'ir flapped eagerly behind her mother, knowing that she wouldn't regret coming along. She had been lazily soaking up the sun on a ledge in their Valley when Phal had come along and asked her to accompany her west. The only thing she didn't like was the fact that her mother was keeping their destination, and their reason for travel, a secret, only saying that it would be fun and a joyful experience. The blue, curious as she was, hated being kept in the dark, and knew her mother was doing it on purpose. She kept her thoughts to herself, though, and simply continued flapping. She breathed a quiet sigh of relief when Phal told her that they were only minutes away, and quickly wondered what they could be doing in Du Weldenvarden.

OOC: Is it alright if I join?

IC: Lying next to a large crystal blue lake Equinox glanced up. It had been the first time in what felt like a long time he was able to rest peacefully without the thought of someone trying to kill him. Sniffing the air he thought he could smell a few familiar scents in the air. Glancing up with wonder and happiness he soared into the sky, letting the hot air thermals guide his flight. Following the scene he couldn't help but feel happy. Peace, it seemed that it would never come, but he had been resting for just over a week, a record time for himm. Snagging a large racoon from a tree he ate the small mammal as he flew on the wind, searching for the producer of the scent.

IC:
Felecia chuckled, leaning forward again to release her wings. She beat them gently to get to her feet, wincing a bit as her muscles flared from little use over the more recent months. She walked forward the few paces it took to reach him and let her arm circle around his waist, leaning her head on his chest,"I'm glad your patience isn't your strong point." she said, grinning. She sighed and looked up into his eyes,"Help me outside will you, love? My wings are aching from no use." she grimaced, twitching her wings against her back. They itched with the urge to fly, but she wouldn't until her child was born. She looked out the window as she felt some familiar minds coming closer. Her grin widened,"Well, looks like we might be having a baby shower." she said jokingly, her sapphire eyes glittering. She also felt Ebony getting closer with Felena, tailed by Zeke and Ella.

Phal grinned as she sensed their destination only just up ahead. At last, she twisted her neck around to tell her daughter what was going on. So, would you like to know what we're doing? she said, green eyes sparkling. Na'ir gave her a mock-annoyed glare, her eyes like mirror reflections of Phal's own (just without the stripe in the right one). Remember the story I told you of when Eriel had her son? We're going to visit another of my friends who is in the same situation, she relayed, her smile widening. Na'ir's eyes grew round with excitement. Really? Who?! she cried, flapping her wings faster to get even with her mother. Felecia. She and Mesaraih, and some of our other friends, will all be there, Phal responded with a laugh. Her daughter's face broke into a smile. Oh, it looks like we're here, she said suddenly, noticing the quaint hut in the distance. She could only see it from her current location because Fenirexes was sitting just outside of it. Dragons tended to give off a lot of heat.

Phal banked her wings to get lower, moving in a zig-zagging pattern. When she was close enough, she cast out her mind, along with her feelings of joy. Those in the clearing would be able to sense her immediately. I hope you're taking visitors? she called out with a laugh. In seconds, she was over the clearing. Phal pulled up and flapped her enormous wings to come to a halt, letting herself sink neatly to the ground. Na'ir dropped gracefully beside her. Mesaraih and Felecia were just coming out of the hut, and the red dragon himself was sitting nearby. Hello, everyone! It's wonderful to see you all again! she cried, folding her wings and trotting forward to meet her friends.

Na'ir was pleasantly shocked by her mother's news, and she sped forward with excitement the rest of the way. When Phal announced that they had arrived, the blue flew in a quick circle in her enthusiasm. She darted into the clearing and landed quickly, too excited to make as polite a landing as her mother's. She trailed beside Phalynx, looking between the three of them. She had not met Felecia personally, and had only met Mesaraih and Fenirexes twice before, and that was months ago. However, she had heard many stories concerning them. She knew that Fenirexes was the first other dragon her mother had met, for one.

OOC: Am I right about that? To my knowledge, Na'ir's only met Ebony, not Felecia yet. I'm not sure, though.

Soaring towards the scent, then at once he could recognize it along with a few others that he soon recognized At once he flew down happily not even noticing a few other dragons outside for a small cave. Landed he opened his mind at once, he knew who was inside his friends Mesearaih, Fenirexes, and Felecia. Though he had only meet Felecia once or twice before, the first two he had been good friendds with for some time now. It was then he noticed Phal and her daughter Na'ir no far away from him. Though he knew Phal well, he never actually met her daughter. Hi Phal, I didn't expect to see you here. This is your daughter right? He said, than to the younger dragoness he added Hello, I'm Equinox. He could sense something inside the cave other than the air of happiness. He couldn't help but give a toothy smile. Happy events were a large plus side when the rest of the time had been either almost being killed or simply fleeing for one’s life. May I come in? he said to those inside the cave.

Felecia smiled and waved a wing in welcome,"A pleasure all of you." she called warmly. She laughed delightedly,"Of course we're taking visitors, Phalynx. We wouldn't have it any other way." she replied. She turned to Equinox with sparkling sapphire eyes,"Please, come, come." she said eagerly. She tapped lightly on Mesaraih's arm,"Of course they know, silly. Kind of hard to miss." she teased, leaning lightly on his shoulder. She looked up as she heard more wingbeats, and was delighted to see her companion Ebony with his mate. He landed lightly and grinned at her, Felena just a moment behind him. They laid down close to Fenirexes. She looked up yet again to see Zeke and his younger sister, Jia. If she could have done a back loop at that moment she would have. She heard a barking snarl, and her face lit up as she caught sight of a pure white wolf with silvery white irises, running out of the trees with a grin across its muzzle,"Ella, you made it!" she cried happily. The wolf paused and shimmered before coming back as a young elf that looked quite similar to Felecia. Ella grinned and they gingerly hugged. Felecia looked around, suddenly overwhelmed. Everyone had come. She beamed with happiness.

Phal grinned at Equinox when he joined them and nodded. Yes, this is Na'ir, she replied, and her daughter gave a dip of her head in greeting. Only moments later, Ebony, Felena, Zeke, Jia, and Ella joined them. The star-silver smiled at all of her friends in turn, happy to see all of them in one place. It is so wonderful to see you all together for a happy occasion, for once. And, of course, a huge congratulations to you two, she said cheerfully, looking between Mesaraih and Felecia, being a parent is a wonderful feeling. Phal settled back on her haunches, getting more comfortable.

Na'ir dipped her head in greeting to Equinox when he spoke. It's nice to meet you, Equinox. I've heard a lot about you, she replied with a smile. The green had been in quite a few of the stories she had heard. All the dragons and two-legs assembled had been, actually. Though, there were some she had met in person. She already knew Jia, Zeke, and Ebony. She gave each of them a cheerful greeting in turn.

Its nice to see all of you as well. It's been awhile, I'm glad to see that you are all doing well. Equinox replied glancing over at all of them. Though he met a lot of them, a few he didn't know in person but had heard of from others. Dipping his head slightly to Mesaraih and Felecia he replied warmly Congratulation you two. He was glad to be here for this occasion, it was so much different than the constant fighting and worry. Another youngling to come into the world. Curling himself up on the ground, Equinox made himself conferrable on the ground.

Felecia smiled in gratitude, dipping her head toward Equinox and Phalynx,"We still have a few days, I believe. Zeke gave us a rough time estimate." she said and grinned at the amethyst, who chuckled at her with gleaming ice blue irises. The winged-elf stretched her wings out carefully, gingerly unfurling them so she didn't strain anything, until they were fully extended on either side of her. She flapped them a few times before returning them to their closed positions.

Jia grinned and bounded forward to Alna'ir eagerly, having not seen her friend for some time. Hey Na'ir, how's the valley been since I left? And your siblings, of course. she said happily, her teal eyes shining. She remembered a great many mini adventures that the blue had gotten all of them involved in. Most of those had gotten all five of them in trouble. She grinned at the memories.

Phal smiled warmly at the two, laughing a little when Mesaraih spoke. Alagaesia's not in constant need of saving. It'll be fine for a little while, she laughed. It was true. She didn't feel a Pull anywhere at the moment. It would be good to have a time of peace for once, rather than constant traveling and fighting. She glanced at Felecia when she stretched out her wings, and was abruptly glad that eggs were much smaller than young two-legs (compared to their parents) before they were laid. She wouldn't want to be stuck on the ground.

Na'ir smiled at Jia, green eyes bright. Oh, the valley's the same as ever; nothing much changes there. Though I've been off doing things a lot more now. Sirius and the twins have too, especially Sirius. He spends less time at home than I do. But everyone is doing really well, last time I saw them all, she replied cheerfully. How have you been? I've heard you've been off on adventures of your own, she continued, curious about her friend.

Equinox laughed when Mesariah spoke replying, Alageasia can last a few more days without us. Besides, this is more important than fighting fools who don't understand anything they are talking about. As he glanced at the two, he wondered exactly why human and elves didn't lay eggs? Dragons did, so he saw it that they should. Even so, he decided it was best not to ask the question no matter how much he wanted to ask. How have you two been anyway in the past few weeks? I haven't seen you both in ages. he asked Mesariah and Felicia.

Felecia batted at her mates arm playfully at his words,"Smarty." she scolded, her eyebrows meeting in a V. Then she grinned and leaned into his shoulder, sapphire eyes twinkling.

Jia grinned and snorted. Good. True enough, though not all of them were pleasant. she griped, grimacing briefly. And indeed. My Rider requires constant watch to stay out of trouble. she said chuckling softly with a glint in her teal irises. Ran into a bit of trouble a while ago. she added, gesturing to the large circular scar on the right side of her neck, and the crescent scars on top and bottom of the base of her tail. They both still stung occasionally, but otherwise caused no problems.

Zeke grinned at Equinox and Fenirexes. This is a great and rare pleasure, to have a break. Nasuada insists on using my powers to help the Varden, which drains me greatly from all the usage. he said happily.

Ebony huffed and laid down beside his mate. He felt Reona pushing at him, pleading and begging to be let out. Over the months Reona and Eb had built an understanding between each other, and most of the time they got along. The midnight blue sighed inwardly and conceded, letting Reona have control of the body. The black stretched his wings out happily, then shook himself hard. Hello everybody! he crowed, in too much of a good mood at the moment to let possible tension at his presence touch him.

Felena scowled lightly at her mate as he let his counter-part take control. She huffed, but didn't move. Different mind or personality or not, he was her mate. She laid her head on her paws with eyes half-closed.

Equinox gave a light laugh as Mesaraih asked about their lives. Wit ha sigh he added Oh fight Crimson here, Galbatorix there, and a mad man who wants to exterminate the elves and enslave dragons, I'm lucky to find a few minutes without some crazy two-leg or dragon trying to kill me. Though he hadn't done any missions for the Varden in awhile, he was still a part of them even though he mostly did as he wanted. He shook his head, it was pointless thinking of that now that he had some time of peace. Glancing over them all he wished their could be more moments like this, but he supposed he'd have to enjoy the ones they had.

Felecia grinned up at her mate, sapphire irises gleaming with affection,"And me as well, though I only secluded myself when I began to show, so our enemies wouldn't be alerted to my...vulnerability. It's also a good thing you didn't leave to fight evil, 'cause I would have flown after you and dragged you right back here to the hut." she retorted playfully, smiling widely at him so he knew she was teasing.

Jia chuckled, waving her tail merrily as she sat on her haunches. I haven't been to the Dragon Mountain yet, but it sounds like an amazing place. I mostly do solo missions when Kale isn't with me, though they aren't as fun. she said, then her eyes brightened and she turned to the star-silver-dragoness. I met a certain midnight blue, silver-eyed Tribe friend of yours and Zeke's, Phal. she crowed, her eyes almost glowing as she spoke of Temias.

As they spoke of the Dragon Mountain Equinox nodded with a smile. He hadn't been there for some time, but a lot of his friends were there along with his master, King Faefnir. Equinox wondered though if he still techniglly was his apprentice. Where is Temais anyway? I haven't seen him since I was at the Hardarac?

I believe Dragon Mountain is King Faefnir's 'castle' of sorts, beside Stronghold.lol Did I get that right, draco?

IC:
Jia grinned at Na'ir. My jaw will probably drop to the ground. she said, chuckling. She turned to the star-silver, her teal-aquamarine eyes glittering. I saw Temias in the desert, when I met Equinox and, unfortunately, Crimson. It was several months ago, and I have no idea where he is now. she replied, half answering Equinox's question as well. She abruptly frowned, her muscles tensing instinctively. She shifted uneasily, looking from the trees surrounding the clearing to Phal and back again. Am I just being paranoid...or do you feel that too? she asked the silver privately, quietly, shielding her words so that Felecia and Mesaraih didn't become anxious.

Felecia smiled, a light blush steeling up her throat as he pulled her closer and kissed her neck and cheek. Her sapphire eyes warmed as he whispered into her ear. She touched her lips to his ear and whispered back,"And I you. And I figured as much." and smiled, turning her head to kiss his nose.

OOC: Originally it was Star Gazer's family's, and she's the Queen. And Faefnir was always the true King. And also a whole bunch of dragons live there. lol Though none of that's a new development.

IC: Phal thought on what Jia said, wondering where Temias was now. She considered the blue-black a good friend, and didn't want him to get hurt in Alagaesia. Perhaps she would seek him out soon and make sure he was still relatively safe and unharmed. However, her thoughts were interrupted when the gold spoke to her again. Perhaps there is danger close, she said softly, turning around. Sensing things was one thing, but nothing could escape her sight. She swept her gaze through the forest, until it eventually came to rest on two shapes quite a distance from the clearing. From here, and with so many trees in the way, Phal could only tell that they were two-legs. There is a pair of two-legs in the forest. Magic-users, I believe. More than that, I cannot tell, she replied to Jia, though she allowed her words to be heard by all of them. Something was definitely up, and maybe they were even in danger.

OOC: How did the whole thing start though? I only really came into it when Equinox met Feafnir and Phal.

IC: Equinox stared towards Phal when she mentioned two-legs. Though he couldn't sense it like she could, their pressence did disturb her. Do you think they know whoes here? he asked her.

OOC: Well I think it originally started with Star's bio and then ILS's bio of Faefnir, and then those two (along with others) just rping it out. There are a lot of old rps that I've read that develop the Dragon Mountain/Royal Family plotline.

IC: As Jia used her own magic to determine more about their two "guests," Phal used her telescopic vision in an attempt to get more detail. Slowly, she made out more of the image of the pair. In fact, one began seeming very familiar. When Jia suggested the name to Mesaraih, the silver drew in a quick breath in surprise. Of course, it didn't really surprise her completely (she had often encountered Reik around Mesaraih in the past), but at this moment, it was strange. Her green eyes narrowed in suspicion as she eyed the two, her gaze fixed intently upon them. I will not allow them out of my sight, Mesaraih. Shall we let them know that we have sensed them? she inquired, though she thought that, if the pair could see into the clearing, they would be able to tell that they had been detected.

Equinox glanced oddly at both Phal and Jia. He wished he could sense the unsceen as well as they could. Even so, he knew something was out there. He gave a low snarl to whatever it was, and reiaded to shoot lightning if need be. Whoes out there? he hissed quietly through the air.
