Post The Dark Tower
Is anyone here a fan of this series? It's written by author Stephen King, and has a total of seven volumes. It took King 30 years to write, and it's an epic fantasy that isn't in the same vein as Eragon, LotR or anything based in that time period. It involves parallel realities, with each one being slughtly different than the other, but all of them based in our world.

But the main story takes place outside of those realities, and in the future land of Mid-World, where Roland, the last remaining of the knights known as "gunslingers", who used to protect and serve the kingdom of Gilead, wonders the wastelands in purseut of the Dark Tower, which is the nexus of all of the alternate worlds, and the tower is failing. Once the tower falls, all world will come down with it, and cease to exhist.

Wow, long-winded, there. Sorry. Anyway, if you like Stephen King, and you like fantasy, you may like this, but the language and subject matter isn't for everyone.

Just keep in mind that these books were heavily western-influenced. That is why the hero is a gunslinger for one, and it takes a while tog et into the story. Like I said, it isn't for everyone, but for me, I think it's King's best work ever.

EDIT: I see you are reading the keys to the kingdom seires. Garth Nix is amazing. How is that series? For some reason I never got into the first volume.

Stopped reading half way through the second. You don't need to drop a F bomb twice in every sentence.
