I thought the day would never come but last night I finally achieved lucidity during one of my dreams. For anyone who doesn't know, lucid dreaming is where you are aware that your dreaming and can control what happens.

Last night I was dreaming that me and a few of my friends were walking around in the woods in the very distant past. While were walking we heard something very large roar behind us and had to run. There were 5 of us but we got seperated so the only person still with me was Beth (the girl I've taken a liking to in real life). Me and her kept running until we couldn't muster any more energy and we collapsed. We realized that for the time being the thing had decided to persue the rest of our original group instead of us. That's when I realized a big purple stone I hadn't noticed before. When I picked it up it kind of shuddered and then almost instantly it began to hatch. It was a little purple dragon.

That's the point where I realized I must be dreaming. When I get back on my computer (I'm on my iPod touch right now and any second it could decide that this is too much and shut down the internet and I'll lose all this that I've typed) Ill actually start writing what happened from that point on as a story instead of a boring recounting of my dream. I'm going to achieve lucidity whenever I can so I can continue the story and make it long and interesting.

Anyways Ill be back sometime soon to continue my uniquely made fanfiction.

I've had plenty of lucid dreams before, but I didn't know what they were called until now. Including one where I said to myself "Hey, I'm dreaming, I can do what ever I like and no one will ever know." and continued to do a heap of wierd stuff.
Keep on writing, it's really quite interesting

When I was reading about it before I finally did it, it said that it was different for different people. Some people find it easier and can realize right away, but for others it could take longer for them to realize somethings out of the norm. It also depended on how fatigued you were before you went to sleep and a couple of other things.

Anyways I'm expecting my computer to be back either later today or tomorrow so I'll be able to begin very soon.

I hardly ever dream. As in, I dream about once a month. But every dream I have had for the past 4 or so years has been lucid. :S Weird...

I havn't had nightmares since I started lucid dreaming, any bad dreams I have turn into good ones, because I control them lol.

I was bout 7 when i had my first lucid dream, i was in my granparents van when all of a sudden i just started dreamin and i could control everything

Now I lucid dream every chance I get!
