Character Personality: Aera is laid-back, fun, and natural. She hates to be cooped up inside, preferring instead to be outside, riding, practicing swordplay, or simply laying in the shade of a tree during the day, and stargazing at night. Some call her mean because of her sharp tung, but she can also be soft and gentle.
Character History: Aera's parents were killed by the forsworn. She found a dragon's egg while traveling through the spine, and the green hatchling marked her palm. She named him Tenebreux, and soon began her adventures as a rider. Her training was left unfinished when her mentor perished in a Raz'zac ambush, and she and Tenebreux began their journey to Elesmara.
Weapons: A blade like sapphire, which was once her father's, a bow of willow, and arrows with heads made of stone.

History: Tenebreux's parents left his egg in the spine, just being killed by Galbatorix. His egg went unnoticed for moons before being discovered by Aera during an unnaturally cold winter. Through his egg, he sensed that she was destined to become great, and was meant to be his rider. He hatched for her, and her palm was marked the instant she first touched him. He now trains and explores with her whenever possible.
Personality: Tenebreux is prickly and cold at first glance, and not many people think to look again. But those who do will find a deep, romantic side to him. He loves flying, and training with Aera. He is fierce and ruthless in battle. He is hateful and aggressive to most, but sweet and gentle to the few he grows close to.
Color: Emerald Green
Appearance: burly and muscular, yet agile, Tenebreux is a handsome dragon, with scales like emeralds. His eyes, like Aera's, are vivid green, and expressive. His claws, teeth, and spikes are like polished ivory, and as sharp and foreboding as his rider's blade.
