One year I went to Disney land with my mates and girlfriend and got locked in the haunted house!

It happens. Friend of mine got stuck in the Epcot golf ball, and they had to walk out. The carts malfunctioned for some reason.

The novelty would wear off for me if I was stuck at the top of a 200 foot roller coaster. I would be mildly scared.

I am sure I mentioned this, but I have fun, mostly because of my friends at school. Some of them I don't see anywhere else, so....

I would like some more warm weather, though.

Or the same vacations...or same future vacations...

I am more into hiking mountains than climbing trees. I fall out of trees.

The temperature drop is only about 10-15 degrees F

I went to the Ozarks in Arkansas and it was over 100 degrees!(38 degrees C) This is on top of the mountians!
I hate summer weather because it gets so hot that I can sit in a chair outside and sweat all day long.

Yeah, there is bears around, and you got to watch out for snakes too. Although the most I have ever run into is raccoons and deer.

America is beautiful! It just depends on what you consider beauty. Like many things, it depends on the individual perspective. For example, I enjoy rural areas, I find them more to my liking than the city.

Perhaps people from other countries think we are exotic, you never know. I would say that Alaska is "exotic" and that is part of the USA. Hawaii too.

Cliches may be overused, but they are often dead-on. I agree, it's true.

It probably wouldn't tip over, because those buses are quite bottom heavy, but that still sounds dangerous. Why didn't they want you inside? I would think that would be safer, if not quite as fun...

I see it in my Applied tech class all the time, except that they are 15-16 except for a couple people. Well, they're all guys, so that might explain it. It only takes them about 30 seconds to a minute before they are throwing stuff and putting each other in headlocks. I seem to be committing the sin of off topic-ness, however.

Yeah, I've been there once, and to Niagra falls, although the town by the same name on the American side is a dump. It's pretty nice for a city. Cold, though.

There are only two girls in the whole tech program here, or at least there was last year. One of the teachers is a woman, however...
I have seen all sorts of crazy things in the shop. Idiots using the planer put a big dent in the door when a piece of wood shot out at about 110 km/hr. One guy sanded the tips of his fingers with the belt sander while sanding a wheel. Another guy broke his finger a couple years ago. Someone burned himself with the atecyline torch while trying to start it with a lighter. I could go on for months about everything I have seen.

First of all, what's a vacuum former? Second of all, the folks in your classes sound even dumber than the ones in mine, which I previously thought was impossible . What's this about an acid bath? I mean, we've only sent people to the hospital a couple times, but that sounds worse than anything we have done. About the ties, I am suprised they let you wear them in the shop, because as you mentioned, they can get caught in just about anything.
Btw, I would hate uniforms, what's the fun in looking like everyone else. Uniforms are for sports and the military anyways.

If you do go there don't stay in Niagra Falls, though. Go to Canada or Buffalo, or Toronto. Toronto is a nice city, by the way. Never been up the CN tower, however.

Yeah, we've got one of those, except without the vacuum thing. We use it on plexiglass, and similar materials.

Some of them don't know how to paint and their car models end up looking like garbage...
I'm just glad that no one has managed to kill themselves. A long time ago, a student in my teacher's school district died in the shop. Also, a couple of his students survived an electrocution when they tried to get a rocket out of the power lines with an iron rod.
Now that I have just taken the fun out of discussing stupidity....
