"Book Three of the Inheritance Trilogy, which will likely be called Empire, is expected to be published in 2007, following the release of Eldest in 2005 and Eragon in 2003. Empire will continue the alliteration of the titles in the trilogy, as they all start with the letter 'e'.

The second book is called "Eldest" because Murtagh is Eragon's older brother. Other than that, Eragon has no close blood relatives. Another possibility is that "eldest" could be eragon's true name it just hasn't been revealed to us yet.
Murtagh may kill King Galbatorix
The next rider may be Roran or Arya or Orik. The next rider may be a dwarf, that is Orik, since it was greatly stressed there weren't any in the first book.
Eragon's lost sword may be replaced by Brom's old Rider sword
Eragon's lost sword may also be replaced by the weapon under the roots of the Menoa tree

Ya sounds sweet, but does it even mention Brom's old sword in Eragon?? He didn't use it when he was sparring with him, I don't even think he had it. Since Brom's dead though that might be in the vault od souls (Brom's sword)

A passage from when Eragon meets Rhunon the smith in the second book:

Brom's sword was lost many years ago, probably before Brom even killed Morzan (because after he killed Morzan, he gave Saphira's egg to the Varden and hid in Carvahall). His sword is lost in a place he cannot go to or he has never seen where his sword is and cannot scry it. Brom was still quite a swordsman and probably bested Morzan with a regular sword. After killing Morzan, he gained Zar'roc and could use it whenever he wished. Eragon will probably never find it if Brom couldn't find it either.

so many wrong things...eldest is because of Oromis. 2002 eragon was released i think. We know about the gray folk. Dras leona's religion? cant you tell? Satanistic sadasts. We probably wont find out what Brom told him, Eragon has likely used them already. Just practise and your strength in magic increases, no biggy. Its not confirmed someone will be back to life. New raz'zac wont be born... Eragon will find a sword under the menoa tree. Murtagh cant kill the king, mayby murtagh will be realeased if Eragon kills the king. Oromis will likely die. Brom lost his sword in battle remember? Galby probly broke it. The cover is probly wrong, he aint started righting it yet. If gleader is on it it will be gold. How can eragon and saphira get closer? how about this: eragon digs up the 1st eragons old sword, thats where the menoa tree gets it energy frm, coz there was still sum left in the (i guess considerin that the dragon was white, so the sword wud hav been as well) diamond at the hilt. but it wud b pretty cool 4 eragon 2 have a saphire blue sword, rather than having hand-me-downs all the time

Okay, let me see if I can rationalize this. I am under the impression that the 2 ra'zac left are both male. (Pls correct me if I am wrong.) So they cannot reproduce within them. The parents became the Letherblakas. Are they still capable of reproducing?? If this is true the Varden will be in very, very, very deep trouble.
