Will Roran Die?
Ok so everyone knows how Roran is all super-human and can kill anything.Well what if he died? What if he got to cocky with his power and goes against an enemy thinking he is the best there is and then getting killed by not paying attention?Maybe he fights a really weak soldier and the soldier slips in a simple swipe of his sword and Roran not paying attention because he thinks he is to good. What do you thing?

Re: Will Roran Die?
Why would cp do that when Roran just got married and became a father? Not to mention he may be a little cocky but he isn't stupid. He isn't going to go up against someone who is extremely more powerful than him and he is a good soldier. He doesn't try to outshine people or try to be overly heroic.

Re: Will Roran Die?
CP could be building this all up for that very reason. To kill Roran. What usually happens when someone does something great over and over again. They believe no one is better that them and the wind up losing. Why couldn't it happen to Roran?I like Roran as a character this is just a theory that could happen.I mean it kinda makes since if you think about it.CP builds up this character he seems to be unstoppable but he gets to confident and goes up against a powerful enemy and gets killed.Makes sense to me.It may not to everyone else but it does to me.

Re: Will Roran Die?
Or, even worse, Roran is not killed, but he has everything he gained stripped from him in one instant. That to me seems to be the way that he could be leading. Katrina/child's death, loss of Varden, and/or banishment is probably what would happen. He'd be worse than dead. He'd be a man with nothing, broken, and beaten, with nothing to look forward to. . . No legacy. . . But that's just my sadistic mind talking. I have no honest idea on what is going to happen to him.

Re: Will Roran Die?
Again why would cp do that? That wouldn't just ruin him that would ruin Katrina's life not to mention how hard it would be for her to raise a baby by herself. Again, when has roran been overly cocky or tried to to take on an enemy overly powerful than himself when he is alone?

Re: Will Roran Die?
Roran might die in an act of sacrifice to save the life of his wife and or child.

Re: Will Roran Die?
I doubt he will die, but it is definitely a possibility. I doubt Roran would go and try to be heroic, but if it was Katrina or his child in danger I think he would do anything to save them.

Re: Will Roran Die?
True, but then wouldn't he either be fiercer and/or more careful, and thereby more able to defeat his opponent?

Re: Will Roran Die?
But what if he went into a fight in a compete rage because of something that happened to Katrina or the baby and he went in just trying to kill and wasn't paying attention to his safety and he gets hit with an arrow or stabbed with a sword?

Re: Will Roran Die?
A man with nothing to loose is the most dangerous man to fight. It could give him that edge. . .

Re: Will Roran Die?
True...but like Sparty said, it might make him rash and he could throw his life away without a thought if he thought it might accomplish something.

Re: Will Roran Die?
I doubt Roran will die, just because he is a main character. Even if he did die, It would likely be in the final battle, or close to the final battle.
