What do u think the new eggs name is going to be? i heard a rumour that it was going to be named after Arya. But then it would have to be a girl wouldn't it, and Murtagh has already said that Saphiras the only dragon female.

how can you tell what a dragon is when its still in its egg

I don't know I just remeber him saying that the last dragon is a male and his lord is hoping to breed him and Saphira together to make more dragon eggs?

no the last dragon egg in the world ( so far as we no it is ) is a male.. murtagh said that saphira is the last female dragon in existence. if she breeds, she will be the mother of her entire race.. pg 649 eldest.. and elven warrior.. galbatorix has ways to find stuff like that out..

it was never said in any of the books but im thinking only one egg at a time.. but thats just my though cuz their would have been many, i mean MANY dragons before galbatorix killed them all if they produced more then one egg at a time

Hey, anyone remember what happened to the 'wild' dragons that fought the elves, they didn't all end up with dragon riders. Where'd they go and what they doin now?

They either are in hiding which they probably are or Galbatorix killed them which is likely too.

I think that the four dragons we know of are the last of them. I think that either galbatorix or a different Rider or dragon would know if there are others.

Hmm...I rather like that name actually. The name and gender of the dragon has to be a male because it would also coincide and make sense with the prophecy and Eragon's dream about leaving Alagaesia forever. Although I have no clue what the name would be but it may be alphabetical...and I like the name as well.

Yeah I like Undil...CP could be doing the names in a sort of pattern or something...maybe it's a clue that will be revealed or be a big part of what is going to happen at the end. I don't know....could help Eragon...actually I have bad ideas...I doubt CP is doing something like that. I still love the name though.

Anyways I bet the name will have something to do will the color mostly. Saphira(saphire-blue), Thorn(red), well red isn't exactly what I think of when I hear Thorns name but close and it makes sense. Jade? Perhaps....it's almost a bluish and greenish shade so it might make sense...who knows...maybe a twist with that name Jadus?

Yes and it would match saphira which is close to sapphire. Actually CP could have been considering the book 3 emrald (or some other variation of emerald like with saphira's name) before he split because remember both eldest and Eragon started with E.

It is a green dragon egg. Dragon is the same colour as it's egg hence it will be a green dragon.
